All,Thanks to all who tried to help. David Lovinger was the biggest help by knowing that this is a directory permission issue. Unfortunately we have not been able to put our finger on what the differences are between the directories that work and those that don't. After creating a pattern, I converted it to be a table driven pattern. I then wanted to edit the table. I picked on edit; pattern table; and got the popup window. After selecting my table and then the edit button at the bottom, nothing happened. I tried several other ways to edit the table without any success.

Is it possible to creata note with a leader, where the extension at the end of the leader line (that connects leader to text) run vertical instead of horizontal. With the angle I can make the text run vertically, but the extension like is stuck horizontal.Thanks,Mark Ganzer

I am trying to import x and y points from excel and use them and a spline to make a 2d shape. Does anyone know how to do this?

Apparently there isn't a way (or at least no one here knows of one) to delayregeneration. The only suggestion that I got was to use Simp Reps toimprove regen times. I did find another way to address this situation though. I found that by using the search tool, I could locate, select and replaceall of the fasteners that I needed to in one pass. Does anyone know of a metric lock washer spec?I'm looking for something similar to MS35338 Split Lock Washer. The only thing I could find was a 25 sheet spec B18.21.2 but that spec doesn't have dash numbers...unlike the other "B" specs I've found. Do you install the Microsoft updates on your PDMLink server?This week, I was so credulous to accept an automatic MS update on our PDMLink server. Result : PDMLink was 'out of order'. I'm not the specialist how tackled the problem, but Tomcat refused to start, the Methodserver refused etc ...Just FYI, Hugo.

Good afternoon/morning,I'm going to revisit this topic again since PTC says their uitrail file functionality is working again in WF3 M030. So far, I have not gotten it to work when installing Pro/E, Ptchelp and Mechanica all in one shot. Has anybody been successful in doing this? Hi I am running WF3 M020. I downloaded M030. When I run it to upgrade, it tries to connect to a PTC server. It asks me for my proxy details (address and port)which are correct, but then it can't connect. It doesn't give me an option to enter in my password and username. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong, or if there is another way to do this? Thank you. Shaun

Guru's, I'm trying to "fix" our 2001 mapkeys that turn all layers on and off sothey work in Wildfire 3.0. Currently they only work in Wildfire 3.0 IFI have the layer window shown, and not the model tree. So I thought allI need to do was to add a section to the front and back of our oldmapkeys, turning on the layer window at the start, and then turning themodel tree back on at the end. Nope... I've tried a few differentways, and can't seem to get it to work. I made mapkeys to toggle thedisplay from model tree to layers and back, and those seem to work justfine. It's just when I put them into my "turn all layers on/off"mapkeys that nothing happened. So I thought, well, I'll just start overand record a new mapkey. I got as far as trying to select all thelayers! In 2001 there was a simple, single button to select all thelayers, I can't find this in Wildfire 3.0. Anyone got any suggestions? For the record, these are our existing mapkeys that work just fine ifthe layer window is displayed:!=

Hi all, I have been working on J/Link. I am facing with a typical problem whileclosing PRO/E.When I open Pro/E through J/link with having graphics mode, then exitingthe PRO/E application through J/Link also ends pro_comm_msg.exe process.But, if I do the same with out having graphics mode, pro_comm_msg.exeprocess is not being closed.
