Hi AllI use Creo 2since choosing which dimensions could be strong and which ones weak is completely manual in Creo, untill it goes to conflict. I would like to know, if there is anyway to understand that my sketch is definitive ( like in solidworks) , cause I am used to that, and I complete the sketch to the point that all the lines are black and can not be modified by dragging them around
It has been a while since I used Creo 2.0. What toggle do I need to turn on to enable an arrow with a flag note?
Is there a way to call the Distance selection method when using a flexible parameter?
For those PTC/User TC members (info and join here: PTC/USER Portal : TC Redirect) who want to stick around after LiveWorx for the PTC/User Technical Committee meetings 5/25-5/26, what topics would you like to see covered? This is a chance to learn from one another or come to a consensus on gaps PTC should try to address.Feedback by 3/24 should make it into topic consideration for the event.Thank you!Daniel ReidPTC/User Data Exchange & Archive TC Chair
hello,i'm new in creo 4.0 .i did not find the cut out tools in creo parametric 4.0 .in creo 3.0 i found it in component operation.
Need to prevent a Spotlight from shining through solid components. I have selected shadows but the light still shines through. I even put a plate which has non transparency properties right in front of the spotlight and it shines through it onto other components behind the plate. I have all other lighting (default, back, etc) turned off.

Hi AllI use Creo 2I would like to know, if there's a way to disable the initial dimensions that apear automatically right after you create your sketch. Cause they are very annoying and I would like to create my own and only see those ones, since in some zoom scales they get mixed and make it impossible to see the sketch
I'm new creo 3.0 user and i would like to know how can i create two twisted wires or more wires , i tried to create it with relation (witch appear in picture above ) but it doesn't work .Does any one can help me ?
Hi EverybodyI am using Creo 2 , I am quite new in it. I would like to know, when I extrud a body that interferes into another existing body, are they unified or seen as two separate solids ? and is there an option to distinguish between these two ?Thank you
. The disk has a diameter of 120 and a thickness of 30
I am student in IUPUI. I want to download creo 2.0 and i don't know how to do that. I need help urgent.Thank you,Varun Naidu
Personally, I feel like I am disassembling the bomb of dust2 zone b.
I am in Creo Parametric Format (.frm) model. I revised my format to be 1422.4 by 863.6. But my SIZE tag at the bottom of my display screen is showing 1397 by 863.6 I select the SIZE tag and do a “Define”. I update the “Grid Outline” and the “Grid Origin” by the SIZE tag never updates. So how do I update the SIZE tag?
Is it possible to create geometric tolerance related to a spitted datum feature that was build out of two surfaces 2xA or A & B?The tolerance zone should be created as common zone (CZ behind the tolerance value)
Hello, can we analysis wires stress in creo like attached video?
good morning, when I go into conflict the sketch that I have to update the references, the window is fixed and is not allowed to edit or enlarge .. why? I create in 3 you could be done.
Hey All,I have imported some DXF geometry into a sketch (I have done this hundreds of times over the years). My customer asked me to move the geometry slightly, so I redefined the sketch and attempted to MOVE & RESIZE to the geometry by windowing it in and moving it. I moved the geometry by picking it up and manually moving it with the mouse and cursor AND also by entering offsets into the MOVE & RESIZE dialog box. Looks like it is working just fine until I ACCEPT in the MOVE & RESIZE dialog box. I keep my eye on the geometry and see it snap back to its previous location. The only way to overcome this seems to be to delete the existing sketch and then re-import the DXF file into the sketch.Any ideas?TIA,--Neal
I want to ask, how many people are using "Hide and Isolate" vs. "Hide and Unhide", to decide what layer items are to be visible in the display. For those that are using Isolate:Did you find that it changed how you defined layer rules? Are you creating fewer layers? Are the rules for those layers less complicated?
In MBD we are driving towards using 3D Annotations instead of 2D detailing. Now you have two options to do this:1. Do all model designing in the beginning then do all the 3D annotations in the endor2. Model and 3D annotate at the same time. Build some features... annotate... build some features... annotate - this way you remember what is important. My issue is with the 2 option. It seems that when working with MBD there is a load of rework required for each combination state IF you use a different size view than just the standard orientation. Are companies just telling users to wait till the very end to annotate and verify all annotations prior to release? An example:I have created a small feature on the model that I now want to add a new combination state to detail. In the days of 2D drawings I could add a detailed view with a center point selection (as shown). As the designed progressed, my 2D drawing detail view is still centered on the feature it details because of that center point s
Hello. Is it possible to lock one view movement with another view? I can't find that option, because alignment still allows the view to move in one way, and that is not good enough for what I need. I don't know if that is possible, any idea to do it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sketches don't appear in model window after creation in Creo 2. The sketch appears in model tree but not in model window. All layers are shown.
Please share if any one knows
The scenario is/our requirement: We create wrapper over pfcsolid and store it. If Creo modified the pfcsolid (by deleting or adding or modifying faces/edges) during any event, we want to capture the deleted/added or modifed faces/edges so that we can update the wrapper at our end appropriately. Workaround from PTC support: Object TOOLKIT C++ cannot track the info on modifed, deleted and new faces/edges of a pfcSolid. As a workaround, processing the IDs of faces and edges on OnBeforeRegen() and OnAfterRegen() can help identifying new/deleted faces/edges. Limitation: it does not help to identify the modified faces/edges. More ever processing the IDs and updating the wrapper is likely to result into performance issues.
