Hi - I'm brand new with 3D modelling. Have been playing around with Element/DM Express and getting used to the tools and capability.One thing I don't know how to do is create a hollow door handle. I want to build in the following aspects which is what I'm finding difficult:I want a curved handle that comes perpendicular out of the door and sweeps through to the handleIt needs to be hollowIt needs to be split horizontally so that the top and bottom parts come away leaving me to build in some internal workingsI also want to build various dips in the handle profile where your fingers wrap round.Can all of this be done in DM Express?If so, can someone point to any tutorials that I can watch that helps me make the above model? They can be 4 separate tutorials.Or can someone give me some clues on how to create or tools I need to use?ThanksArjay

Creo Community, I just installed build M050, and normally I copy my customization uifile (creo_parametric_admin_customization.ui) to :C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 2.0\Common Files\<build>\text This is not working. Any ideas? Brad

Hi Friends,I have been creating symbols for electrical component.I want to add a two nodes with same name. I have tried it with using special characters too, Pro-e could'nt allow to do.Please find atached picture of the required symbol with pin locations (nodes).If anybody know how to overcome this issue, please let me know, It would be helpfull.Thanks,Santosh

New to teaching PTC/Creo at the High School level. I have found plenty of tutorials and projects, but I'm trying to put the whole thing into a logical, sequential approach to enable students who don't have a clue what CAD is to be able to start from scratch and after 3-4 months be able to get around on the software and be productive, while at the same time ENJOYING the process. Anyone currently running a High School program that would be willing to pass alone an outline of curriculum? Much appreciated.

So, I have no end to the problems in trying to check in dwgs/models. Especially since Windburn wants to check out and change EVERYTHING, instead of only the objects I actually change. From the Windburn screen I had no end to the problems, and 2 full days of wasted time and countless re-boots. Then, I try and check in the file while in Pro/E, and it (supposedly) worked quickly and easily. Huh???Why is the Pro/E side of it a LOT less problematic? More like the way it SHOULD be?

Creo 2.0 M050 maintenace release date has changed to 26th april.PTC says..it has been changed to bring the best possiblle release...well that is good news.

I previously used solid works to create models and am now trying to modify them in pro engineer. They were converted from sldprt to prt files but I can't seem to be able to modify them in the model tree. Can anyone please advise what I require to do to enable alterations.Thanks

Pro Users: Does anyone have a 3D model of a Solid State Drive such as the attached datasheet describes?
