Hello, I was wandering if it was possible to use lighter file formats such as gltf instead of pvz in vuforia studio.

Hi everyone,I'm currently using Vuforia Studio version 9.11.4 and I'm considering updating to version 9.22.Before I proceed, I just wanted to ask:Is the update stable and safe at this point?Will my existing experiences and published projects continue to work without issues after the upgrade?Would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has already updated.Thanks in advance!

In the next Vuforia Expert Capture release (3.22.0), we will introduce new domain URLs. To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend doing the following before the release in late June: Test and verify that the new URLs are accessible. If necessary, add them to your company's allow list: https://vuforia.portal.ptc.com/ https://api.portal.ptc.com/ Update Vuforia Vantage on your devices to version 3.21.0 or later. There is no need to update your browser bookmarks; you will be automatically redirected to the new URLs once they become the default. Additionally, your generated QR codes will continue to function.To facilitate testing, the new URLs are available in the current release (3.21.0), allowing you to test them before they are used in production in the Vuforia Expert Capture 3.22.0 release.For more information about URLs that must be allow-listed, see Network Configuration Requirements.

Dear PTC Community, I prepared models in NX with decals, and converted them with instalod and/or blender. In both they render correctly. Now if its imported into Vuforia Studio, the decals shows up but the surface disappears. So there is just the decal no surface beneath, but it blender or instalod it shows correctly. I export from NX as glb, then I open the glb in instalod or blender to optimizer polygon count to export it as fbx for vuforia studio. BTW Creo illustrate also displays it falsely. Newest Vuforia Studio

A customer made me aware of this issue. The screenshot is taken from an iPhone SE. It shows the latest version of Vuforia Vantage. The user took a photo to be added to his feedback. Entering text is possible, but the text input is hidden and the user has no chance to see the text entered.

Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a project in Vuforia Studio that involves scanning QR codes using the built-in QR code widget. While it works in general, we've encountered a major usability issue: 📌 Very small QR codes are extremely difficult to detect.In many cases, we have to hold the iPhone extremely close and still wait a few seconds until the scanner finally picks it up — and sometimes it doesn’t work at all unless the QR is large and isolated.We've also experimented with custom solutions using JavaScript libraries like jsQR and zxing-js, but on iPhones in particular, either the live camera feed doesn’t render properly, or the QR is only readable when it's clearly focused and takes up most of the image.🔍 What we’re looking for:Any way to enhance the QR detection accuracy for smaller codes?Can we tune or replace the Vuforia Studio QR widget’s behavior or resolution?Any suggested workflow or library that has worked reliably on iOS devices?This is important for our

In Vuforia studio I created 3d assembly instructions now when we published it and viewing that experience in Vuforia view mobile app whatever the assembly steps I did in Vuforia view that information should be shown in thing Worx how to do it? please someone help me in this scenario how to achieve it.

I would save a lot of time to have more shapes available in the image editor, like "warning", ...   See my screenshot. I think it explains well what I mean.

Hello Guys, can we use External Camera to view Vuforia Engine app which is created in unity 3D. If possible, how?I am trying to build assembly work instructions on model target using Vuforia engine in unity. when i did the Unity build the app default it is taking device camera. Is there any possible way to access external camera which is connected to my android Tablet device through USB.

Hello, I made a function that cuts my model based on the value of a slider, to obtain a dynamic section-like effect.This model has some element which are glass-like (material wise) and when I apply the "cut" which is basicall a shader this "glass" becomes darker, more like plastic. I would like to know if there is a way to reset the model shader value to its default value.The code for the section is the following: planarCutmodel.shader = `planar_cut; clipCenterX f ${$scope.clipCenterX}; clipCenterY f 0.0; clipCenterZ f 0.0; clipAxisX f 1.0; clipAxisY f 0.0; clipAxisZ f 0.0; clipLineWidth f 0.003`;I tried with $scope.view.wdg["model-1"]['shader'] = undefined; or tml3dRenderer.setProperties('model-1', {'shader': undefined}); but nothing happens.Thanks in advance 

Hi everybody, An IDEA, for Vuforia Expert Capture,In Editor, I have no text to highlight my step. And it's not possible to have a Title.And with Vantage, I see "My Step List",  with a number and the beginning of text zone.I can't struture my procedure with titles for steps. IDEA :Introduce a "TITLE" for for each step in my procedure. And after publishing, Vantage can use these titles for the STEP LIST Enhancement for new releases ThanksHervé

Hi everybody An IDEA, for Vuforia Expert Capture,when I have an image or a video in multiples Steps & Procedures,  I have no capabilty to know where used in STEPS and PROCEDURES.(I have a tips, If I want to delete image/video, dialog box shows me where is used but it's DANGEROUS because it's the feature "DELETE ASSET") IDEA :Create feature (above "Delete") "WHERE USED" to show Steps and Procedures where this image/video is used to have information. Enhancement for new releases ThanksHervé

Hello Team,I want to know one doubt whether it can be possible or not. If possible, how? in Vuforia studio I created an assembly instruction of a machine in model target experience with animation sequence now that  experience I am viewing from HoloLens while i am doing assembly instruction after placing the 1st component the VEC should check that model whether it is placed correct or not if its correct then it should proceed to next step if it's wrong it should not proceed to next step like this i want in every step to check the component whether i paced it correctly or not through VEC. Will it is possible through integration of Vuforia studio with Vuforia Expert Capture.
