I am working with a customer who is interested in Chalk but has a requirement for an intrinsically safe device. They have a device (the i.safe MOBILE IS910 device, which runs Android 8.0) which I know isn't supported.  They were able to install Chalk and it allows them to be in audio/video only mode since it's not a supported device.   He says that Chalk can't seem to focus the camera on the device, making the field of view blurry and unusable.  Do we have any supported devices are are intrinsically safe? And/or do we have a message I can pass along for why this device might not work?

We setup an account, then support re-instated an old account, now we have staff spread across each account...how do we fix this so we have one account?

Is there a way to report just HOSTed connections vs User to User connections for usage?

I've run some tests by myself with two devices: Pixel 4 and Galaxy Tab S5e and I am not able to draw when I start a session. I ran some tests with a PTC employee and when he is hosting the session everything works fine. Is there something I missed in my account that is blocking me from drawing during sessions that I host?   Thank you

Is there a limit to how many annotations the participants can draw? Some uses report older marks disappear when new ones are added.

It seems that something went wrong on the Android version of Chalk after the update from yesterday. Video works but the live annotations don't work and produce a error message.   cheers Hansi

Does anyone have any information on the security measures that are in place for Vufoira Chalk? Is the Video feed encrypted? Is the data stored anywhere?   cheers

I have installed a free version available of Vuforia chalk for demo purpose. Whenever I join call using the app to my colleague, the call connects well but for drawing purpose it always shows an error as "Drawing is disabled until user returns to the help menu".   Any suggestions as to how I can get this sorted and use Vuforia chalk application.

Is there a Problem with the App Store in Italy? We are missing the Vuforia Chalk App in the App Store in Italy.

We are aware that Chalk is currently unavailable on Google Play Store and are working with Google to understand the issue. We are actively working to solve this issue and will update this thread when Chalk is available for Android users. 

Hi. I have a customer that has initiated the Vuforia Chalk free offer and required the Host option. When they go into the Admin Centre they receive a message that "the Host Package must be purchased as part of the license for Chalk in order to for host features to be enabled", refer attached My understanding was that there is two free offers, one for internal company users and one for hosts to connect external to their company. Can anyone assist? Thanks

Does anyone know of any other android apps that you can download your real wear HMT-1 dead set video's? I need to add captions within the video as well as icons. Can someone suggest any software to do that with?

How can I download Chalk on my Android outside of Google Play? Could you have APK store with CHALK download file ? 

Hi, I've downloaded the Chalk app to A50 device. it's on Google Play. Is it supported?  if not, when it'll be supported in future and can I download something or change anything on device to let it work?   Thanks Yariv  

While trying to install Chalk from the Google Play store on two different S7's we get: "Your device isn't compatible with this version". All the documents show the S7 is. 

I think the chalk app was trying to report that the phone was out of disk space.  The message was cut off at the end of the chalk session.  Just reporting some small issues to help improve the app.  

There are two ways to start a Chalk session:   - Start a session with anyone. - Initiate a call with someone within your organization.   To start a session with anyone:   The Chalk Hosts feature allows users to make a Chalk call with another person without the need for registration and login. The feature is similar to the Webex model where the remote user receives a code to join a conference call.   An Expert can issue a one-time 9-digit Connect Code to authorize a session with a field technician in need of assistance. This maintains the anonymity of the Expert to ensure that they cannot be contacted outside of the session. The Field technician joins the Expert’s live session using the Connect Code without having to register as a user.   Host licenses eliminate the need for a second user to register or login and enable your organization to:   ·Connect remote experts with customers, field technicians, or frontline workers using a one-time “Connect Code” ·Ma

To set up Chalk users with Host privileges, follow these steps.   1. Log in to the Chalk Admin Center.  (You must be a Business Admin for your organization.) 2. Add new user. 3. Fill out new user information and click ADD. 4. Click on user profile after they are added and check “Ability to Host,” then Save.
