Hi Guys,   I have imported the Git Backup extension 2.0.2 into the ThingWorx composer. And created the Git Backup thing made necessary git configurations in the configuration tab. Accessed the GitBackupMainMashup and performed the push operation, i can see that files has been added in the mashup. But when viewing the git repo, i cannot see any newly pushed files in that git repository. In the application logs, i got this error org.eclipse.jgit.api.errors.TransportException: https://gitlab: not authorized__ at org.eclipse.jgit.api.PushCommand.call(PushCommand.java:180)__ at gb.GitBackupTemplate.Push(GitBackupTemplate.java:156)   I'm not sure whether it's the issue with GitBackupTemplate or am i missing any of the steps.   Can someone please help me on this.   Thanks in advance.

I have an infotable with nearly 1000 entries and the column headers are named as Timestamp, Field1, Field2, Field3, Field4, Field5, Field6, Field7, Field8, Field9, Field10. My requirement is that: If Field2, Field4 and Field6 are having the same value (say 0), it should fetch the time when all the 3 fields turned 0. Also, it should calculate the duration of how long all the 3 fields were in same value state. I will attach a screenshot showing the sample infotable with values. Please provide a solution for this usecase. Hi. Can I please see a simple example on how to change the value of a property from a javascript service? A property on the same thing the service is running on. I'm struggling a little on figuring this out and finding the proper documentation.   I can get the property object through the Things["TestThing"].GetPropertyDefinition() function but what then? How do I know the name of the thing that invoked the service? Must it be an input parameter 😞  

I have installed thingworx foundation downloadable trial version one machine and thingworx industrial connectivity on another machine.   I am following below guide while establishing connection between thingworx foundation and thingworx industrial connectivity https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-industrial-connectivity-guide   This guide assumes that you are utilizing the hosted Foundation server in combination with the downloadable Industrial Connectivity. It also mention that some instruction requires modification in case of "downloadable Foundation trial". In my case the above mentioned guide does not work. I am not sure what are the steps which required modification in case of hosted foundation server. Please let me know if any one had tried the same for hosted Foundation server. I am also attaching the connection settings for thingworx industrial connectivity and error I am getting while establishing connection between foundation and industrial

Hi ,   The ValueDisplay is not clickable in Android Pad for Firefox and Edge.  No response if tap it .   It only works in Chrome.   Is it a known issue ?    Regards, Sean

Hey guys,   I'm working on a project and got a simple problem. I've got an InfoTable which is feeded with data from an Oracle database.   In this InfoTable I have one column which is editable (orange rectangle in first screen).         I would like to change the content from "HELLO"  to , in this example, "HELLO WORLD!" (orange rectangle in second screen).     Then I have a button which calls a service when clicked.   In this service I would like to retrieve the changed information from the column and make an update with this new information on my external Oracle database.   Haven't seen a solution for that so far.   To resume the problem:   How can I get the edited values of an InfoTable and save them in an external database?     Thanks for your help      

Hi,   I tried to make the following training:https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/customizable-responsive-ui/ui-completed-samples   But the dashboard is not working. On the left side I have a list, when I select an element of the list the content of the dashboard should be actualized. This is not happening. According to me it seems that the property worldName of the gadget is never bind to a value, but I don't know how to do this. Do you have an idea how to do that?

Hello,   we're using .Net SDK and want to make sure that the connection is re-established after losing it. The Properties of the ClientConfigurator object are default and look good: AutoReconnect = true ConnectRetries = -1 ConnectTimeOut = 10000 ReconnectInterval = 60 PongTimeout = 10000 My expectations are, that after losing the connection to the ThingWorx server and re-establishing it, the ThingWorx client noticed that and makes a reconnect to the server.  Is there anything to do manually to get the reconnection?     Best regards, Sascha        

When you are do dev work and when testing, you obviously need to do this in the context of data from devices in the field streaming in...   It is not practical to have a set of "test or dev" devices as this would provide neither a realistic breadth of data nor the volume of data against which to dev or test.   I have been wondering how people work with this problem.   This got me to thinking, could one use something like the connection server and then split your updates to two ThingWorx instances?   Any other ideas on how to handle this?

Trying to do exactly the same thing and I'm getting an issue.   I'm querying a datatable, and passing this query (below). If I run the QueryDataTable entries with this query, it returns no results. If I just change the Station parameter to be "EQ" and just add the machine name as a string, the query works as expected (returning 40+ results).    What gives? Hi, I am currently displaying 8 variables in a time chart. I get the values from a database query service. However, I would like to setup a list (or a checkbox list) where I can select the database columns to show in the chart (one or multiple at the same time). Hi there! I have a requirement to print out barcode labels automatically. I have a Zebra web printer, which can print out barcode labels based on ZPL command text. Basically, the process is to generate ZPL command codes and output it as a long string, and then send this string to Zebra printer. However in ThingWorx, I cannot call Windows printers automatically. Any ideas or advise? Thanks a lot!

We have about 60 K records in total 30 Datatables, with highest records 30 K in one. Currently 1 HTTP request / second is handled in which CRUD operations performed in 6 - 10 Datatables.   We feel that this can cause performance issue. How do we solve this?

Hi,   I'm using a button in  child mashup of collection widget. It should navigate to a popup on clicking on the icon or button.   I have taken selected value from the service and bonded with session parameter and the session parameter is used in the popup.The above approach is working fine with repeater but  not  in collections.Can anyone tell me how to get selected cell/cell in which button is clicked with collection widget.

Whenever I attempt to use the '.includes()' method on string in ThingWorx composer, I always get an error saying that the .includes method can not be found on the object. I even log the type of the variable that I am trying to edit, just to make sure it is in fact a string. And I still can not get around this.   Here's an example of what I'm talking about:   var myString = 'I am trying to debug some crazy ThingWorx issues'; var myBoolean = myString.includes('ThingWorx');   *the above code will throw the error: 'TypeError: Cannot find function includes in object I am trying to debug some crazy ThingWorx issues. (GetProcessPartID#22)]'   But if I log 'typeof myString', it will log 'string'.   What gives?!

What is the best way for configure timer which will check changes(like adding/updating/removing file) in my file repository and get info about created/updated/removed file(like name, date of changing etc.)

Hello guys,   I would like to know if it is possible bind more than one single service to the same grid.   The idea is to have different buttons (four in my case) and every button calls a different service to show data in the grid (DataShape and everything necessary remains the same) .   So Button1 calls a service which shows apples and bananas, Button2 calls a service which shows oranges and strawberries, and so on...   I hope what I have requested is possible.   Kind regards

Hi, I exected the ReadCSVFile service and it is working but grid widget is not fetching the csv file which i uploaded using FileUpload Widget. I have binded the output of this service to the grid. In Navigate Mashup the grid is not the data.   Related post
