I need thingworx cwc extended extensions for features like QA report, Audit Report, Attachements/ logsheet upload in work instruction verification step. 

The extension uses the org.apache.parquet library and writes the parquest file to Thingworx repositories. The service works correctly if Thingworx is installed on a Virtual machine. The service fails to write the file to Thingworx repositories if Thingworx is installed on kubernetes containers. In particular the extension fails by going to do a chmod 644 on the file to define the correct privileges. Has anyone had the same problem? Are there any solutions to the problem?ThanksDimitri

In adv grid, columns are automatically changing its order in UI. How to stop this behaviour ? Iam using Thingworx 9.1.

To be clear, I must create a channel in Kepserverex which requires I select a PLC driver from the list, before I can find Device Discovery in the context menu (See page 85 in the KEPServerEX V6 manual)?  The Omron NJ channel I am using did not have "Device Discovery" in the context menu. But the manual does say "is available for drivers that support locating devices on the network." Of course, I don't know which drivers support it or not.I created an Allen Bradley Control Logix Ethernet channel, then right clicked on the channel to find "Device Discovery." But there was no Device Discovery option in the menu. Should "Device Discovery" be in the context menu always? Is there a setting I am missing? Is there a way to use Kepserverex to look for an OPC connection or tell if a PLC has OPC UA or OPC DA enabled?  

Hi,   I have recently upgraded from Thingworx 9.1 to 9.7. The DB also got upgraded.   I did a dump of the DB and restored it to my local environment, and the instance is working fine. But when I do a restore, it does not work fine in the QA Environment. Hi All,I am trying to use DDE to get the data from Kepware to an Excel spread sheet. This was working for a day or two then quit. I have had help from a super nice couple of people at PTC. Alin in Romania and Brent in Maine. But we are not able to get the data and there is no apparent reason for it. The Excel file has formulas in the cell that look like this '=kepdde|_ddedata!OmronNJ.MespackHFFS.ReaTop2Temperature.' When first typed into a new spreadsheet, it was populated with the current temperature. For a while it even updated with each change of the temperature. As well as all the other tags written into the spreadsheet. Then I saved the spreadsheet. I opened it Monday and there was nothing but #REF in all the cells. Starting from a blank spreadsheet, I typed in the same formulas and got the current values. But they would not update. I could see the temperature changing in the Quick Client, but the spreadsheet was not changing. I opened a new spreadsheet and typed the formula

Hi all, We have a thing in prod that was pushed from our dev environment. That thing uses a template that is outdated. We want to change the template to a new one that we are now using in dev, but pushing gives this error:How can we go about changing the template in prod? We are unable to manually delete it directly from prod since the entity was pushed there.

HiI have a question related to contained mashupsI created a contained mashup that holds two buttons, and I want to use it in another main mashup as a popup mashup appears when I click on a row on the grid exists the main mashup.I assigned a service ( deletion row from the grid ) to a button exists in the popup contained mashup, when I click on the button nothing reflect on the grid.Service is working and I tested on another button that exists in the main mashup.What can I do to make the service run on the button exists in the contained mashup ?

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 8.5.As a required project step to upgrade v8.5 to the latest v9.x of ThingWorx, it is necessary to "move" Production ThingWorx due to failing/EOL hardware. As part of the re-cloning process, ThingWorx fails to start after attempting to clone ThingWorx from Source Server to New Target Server with the exact same Hostname. Tomcat starts and shuts down when attempting to start the Windows Service - fails to fully start. Errors in log files are thrown referencing "APR based Apache Tomcat Native library" and "HTTPS protocol". I have a customer who will not be renewing DPM, but needs to continue using the PTC.Base entities from the Solution Framework.  These entities were added as part of the DPM installation.  Will letting DPM expire impact the solution framework extension entities?

In chipdatafilter, we want to filter one column using multiple values. Example, I want to filter ColoursColumn in grid data using three values like Red,Orange,Yellow. How to do this.   Is there any way to multiselect options of values to filter grid data?

Hi team, I wonder if its possible to freeze a particular row item from grid widget while scrolling? Am having 100 rows in my grid and the top row holding some calculations as reference for rest of the below items, while scrolling up/down it take top row too. I am trying to update scanrate to few properties using service but SQL transaction log size is increasing. Because , updating scan rate one by one property using below service. Is there way update scan rate at a time ?
