Mathcad

I have a MathCAD Prime 7.0 worksheet and I created three custom functions, which are very similar. The each seem to process variables somewhat correctly, but only one of the three will process a matrix/range variable even though I've tried using the same arguments for all three. Any idea why the two later functions are treating the matrix/range variable as a constant? Thanks! 

I have a project for school and I needed a license for me and my teammate. I bought two licenses myself for an easier payment from the school but I only received one license and everything tells me that I've reached the maximum amount of license for this product. I sent an email to PTC a month or two ago but I never received an answer. Why can't I have the two licenses I paid for and how do I proceed to get the second one? The licenses I bought was for the MathCad Prime 9.0.0.0.

I want to solve a function based on column of vector inputs how can I achieve this? I want to define a specific function then solve it by providing a variable that contains values in form of columns.

Hello ! I am trying to get a very simple plot, of the bisector in the first quadrant. For my application I am interested to have a graph for the range of relatively high values of abscissa, e.g. from 100000 up to 500000, like in the top left figure in the attached file (Mathcad Prime 8).I’ve tried both “Plot” and “Chart Component”.I am curious about what I have done wrong in my humble tries. Thinking that such graphs can be carried out so smoothly in Mcd 15 in one minute…, thank you for any suggestion, best regards,Liv.

  I am looking to write some code for a structural connection design template. One of the things that needs to be checked is plate geometry. More specifically the distance from the centerline of a bolt hole to the edge of the plate the hole is in. I have a vector of values and I would like to compare all these values inluced in the table in order to know if it is higher than 1.  I was thinking to use "if" but I don't know how to use it. 

I would like to write a user-defined function for Mathcad Prime 9.0 accessible via DLL. I intend to use 'C' programming language. Your supplied header file (excerpt below) refers to methods of function definition which will pass string pointers that are automatically parsed into file names with full paths as needed (#define INFILE 13). There is also discussion of assigning the function output to a file which will be written (#define OUTFILE 14). I would like to use this functionality. Can you supply working example 'C' code? In the worst case, maybe you can supply working 'C++' code. What I have tried, with the same construction as your examples for other passed-in arguments, as well correct memory allocation for output strings, has not worked. Of course, I don't know why and I don't think I have a way to debug this in real time since I don't have your object files (also I am a beginner C programmer). Mathcad prime 9 wont open past the splash screen, and closes afterwards. Ive looked the problem up on forums which suggested i delete the config file, didnt work either. Do you have any idea on how to fix the problem?kind regards

I'm used to it by now. Regularly, Mathcad loses the connection to the license for no reason at all I need to stop what I'm working on just because. Not to say that license management and activation steps must be among the worst kind of processes I have ever seen for a paid product.Not happy with the overall situation, this time things got worse. Lost license and Mathcad is looking for a "Product Code". Something I never got when managing licenses. I have a very strange problem with this new mathcad. So the situation is that with a file of only 1.5 mb (something about 30 pages), page scrolling gets stuck and even when entering text (ctrl + T), writing a little faster, the text appears with a delay of several seconds so that it is impossible to In this case, work comfortably, I won't write about the rest because it covers only such basic functions. Hi I want to plot this summation. I would like to do it as an 'odd summation', were I don't want it to process n=2. Is there an easy solution for this problem? 

Migrated my Mathcad Prime 9 to a new Windows 11 PC, moved license to new Host ID, etc.  Prime 9 seems to work as usual.  But the Legacy Converter always fails and aborts - no message as to why.  The Mathcad Converter folder is present with what appears all the .dll's and the  mccnv.exe  executable.   Something else I need to do to bring this back to life?  

I can find in the User Help Manual the Mathcad API Workbook Object Commands to Pause and Resume a Calculation in a Loaded Workbook [ workbook.PauseCalculation() & workbook.ResumeCalculation() ] - but nothing else related to running / calculating a workbook after loading.  My Workbook is not automatically running / or calculating after being loaded into Mathcad Prime 8 by the Visual Basic program, and these commands do not appear to do anything to fix the situation.  What is the workbook command that will force the Mathcad worksheet to fully calculate after being loaded?

I'm trying to make a simple program to select values based on the Size variable.  But the use of "Size" in the program returns False.  However, if I assign Size to "x", and use it in the program, it works fine.  I don't understand why.  See attached. Thank you in advance.
