Now that Matlab and Mathematica have home edition software at an affordable price, is PTC going to follow suit? It only makes sense if one does not fall into either the professional workplace or student category but would like to use the application for home use only.

Will my E-Books and Function Packs from Mathcad 15 work with Mathcad Prime? Can I have both Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime installed and running on my computer?

We just a very attractive quote for 50 seats of Mathcad for academic use. The quote came from a third party supplier called EAC. Does anyone know if going this route will still allow us to use Mathcad 15?

Hi Folks,I got a question from a student who downloaded Prime 3.0 and is learning how to use it. Is it possible to use the color scheme on a 3D plot? This is the feature that color codes the z-axis values. We use this feature all the time in class on Mathcad 15, but it doesn't look like this is possible in Prime 3.0. Am I missing something?Thanks for your help.

I want to make the superscripts (powers) in Mathcad to be small. They are currently using the same font and font size as the variable.

I have just tried to get a surface plot for a small matrix in Mathcad 15. It will only show me it as a contour map or a vector field. I think this is the first time I;ve done this since upgrading from 14. So I loaded a file which I had created in 14 and had the same response. Is this a bug or a known problem ? Any advice please.

When I try to plot a 3D graph on MathCAD 15.0, only the placeholder appears and I can't even see the graph properties.I have tried to see on MathCAD help how to plot a 3D graph and even there the graph is not displayed. When I clicked with the rigth button where the graph should be to see its properties, an error showed up.Any ideas of how I can solve my problem?Thank you.

Using Mathcad 14 (MO20) under Windows Vista, 32-bit.Help / Quicksheets / Engineering Applications / WAV files, Spectograms, and Signal Generation.This Quicksheet repeated fails with the message "failed to launch server application" awhen I try to scroll past the last line in the attached image. Occasionally Mathcad hangs and has to be shut down with the Windows Task Manager.The embedded WAV file loads fine, as does a WAV file read in from disk. Why would a pre-tested Quicksheet be giving such an error? Any idea what could be going on?Thanks,Tracy
