Hello, Everyone. Thanks in advance for your time and help. Best Regards.
I have a problem with my Mathcad 15 showing inserted Excel-object the wrong way, when I open a Mathcad-sheet that includes an Exel-object. Could it have anything to do with the fact, that this Mathcad-sheet, with these Excel-objects, was created on an 32-bit machine and I now open it on a 64-bit machine?
Hi guys,I'm trying to make a 3D scatter plot of x,y,z data sampled at nonuniformlysay I have 3 equal length arrays (x,y,z), is there a way to make 3D scatter plot? Thanks & regards,Poornaka
Mathcad 15. Problem with the "Tab"-button. I can not "tab" in my Mathcad sheets. And in some areas I can not write anything. Have anyone had the same experience? Any suggestions? I use Windows7 and 64-bit. I have other problems with objects imported from Excel and AutoCad, but let us take the "TAB"-problem first 🙂
Did anyone have the algorithm for generating an ekg signal? or an ekg waveform,,

How would I go about formatting a list box based off of the output of another list box?I am trying to change the background color of a list box = "B" based on the output of another list box "A". list box "A" has two options the first being 1 and the second being 2. I want the background of list box "B" to change to the color yellow when option 1 in list box "A" is chosen and stay white when the option 2 is chosen.

Hey guys, I've read two columns of an excel file to a mathcad file that looks something like: 011a2b3c4dI have a series of equations set up in a program, and i have a while loop set up as:{{While (b[a,0 < f(x)) {{a=a+1 {{b[a,1Where b represents the array made from the excel file and a's initial value is zero. I want it to read the value of column zero and if the data from the function doesn't match the value in the current row, I want the program to loop and read the next row. When the value from the equation matches the value from the array, I want the program to return the corresponding value from the same row in column 1. It keeps returning an error message saying "This array index is invalid. The index must be an integer, not less than the ORIGIN, and not greater than the last element." And there is a red box around the a,0 in b[a,0.Any help or advice here would be greatly appreciated!
Hello, please scroll down to the red arrow inside my sheet. i am trying to solve for the varaible Cna, but i get an error message. Thanks!
Just Like the pictures and the worksheet bellow, I have only changed the y's assignment position, but the result is different! So I hope someone could help me. Thanks a lot.
Hey!I'm currently working on a pretty large report in Mathcad Prime 3.0 and would like to be able to label my sections, figures, excel components, tables (etc.) with automatic updating numbers. For example:Section(1)Subsection(1.1)Subsection(1.2)Section(2)Subsection(2.1) etc...for sections. For the figures, excel components and tables I would like to have a label like: "Fig. 1-1: (text)" "Fig. 1-2: (text)"above/under the figure/excel(...)I have tried to use excel components to iterate through the different section and subsection lables, but it makes the whole document really slow! Preferably I would also like to have it all inside the Prime document and not rely on an external document. So; has anyone found a neat solution to these problems? Thanks in advance!
I would like to create an ODE and a video with Mathcad of one domino falling. Ideas? Links?
Fred Lusk posted documents that evaluate the many formulas that can be used to obtain the Darcy friction factor explicitly. In the subsequent discussion, I proposed ranking the formulas in a different manner. However, my suggested change did not greatly change the ranking. Also, I have been able to locate some experimental data on commercial pipes operating in the transition region and found that the Colebrook-White formula does perform well for that region also.Fred has asked to see my results which are attached to this discussion.Fred, my modifications have messed up the page breaks and I haven't taken the time to make the file more presentable. I plan on posting my evaluation of the CW formula against the Freeman data on my website blog soon. http://www.harveyhensley.com/ It will be a minor contribution compared to your document.Update 6/1/2014: The blog mentioned above has been posted.
2014-08-07 Update — In this update I include timing the calculation speed of each formula using an HP-41CX programmable scientific calculator. I also renamed a few variables and functions, modified the statistics a little based on subsequent comments by Harvey Henlsey, and made various other changes, corrections, and improvements. I also added a "Bang For The Buck" statistic that takes into account both accuracy and calculation speed. The attached .zip file contains two significantly updated worksheets (one for smooth pipe and one for rough pipe) and their PDF files plus the two previous worksheets (for historical reasons). 2014-05-23 Update — Harvey Henlsey posted some good comments on the copy of this epic that I posted in the MechEngr section and that prompted this update. I redefined S4 and I coordinated the secondary function definitions between GS1 and VK. I also added some more horizontal lines to the plots to make them easier to read.==============
hello people!I've written a user defined function(.dll function) as a Visual Studio Project, to access at the usb port of my computer in order to aquired image data by reading over the camera at a time rate of x seconds (x could be a variable defined by the user) and stored as a matrix. The Visual Studio program works but isn't recognized as .dll by Mathcad. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, please can somebody give me a hint?I've attached the Visual Studio project with the .dll archive.
Is there a good way to debug a program I wrote in MathCAD prime 3.0? Because it appears to be working but I want to go through my program step by step to make sure everything is working properly.
I keep getting "Not enough Memory" when I run my program. I wonder if there is a way to increase the memory allocation for Mathcaad. Thanks
