I am unable to install the software and need help. When I follow the link that the purchase confirmation gives me, I am prompted to enter in my product code. After that, there are a series of Releases that I can choose from, Release Prime 5.0 is what i want, but when I clink on the link, there is no link to download the software.

I am trying to install MATHCAD in my PC. Administrator has been approved to install software but it is having giving me some problem with licensing problem

Hello, I am still in the stage of installing mathCAD. When I am in the wizard, I am unable to see any applications to select in the 3rd stage. (Application Selection) I can only see where the default installation path is and I am also unable to see where I can browse another path if you have that setting. I hope you understand my problem and able to fix this or send another installation folder that doesn't have this problem. Thank you in advance,Kind regards,Billy

I tried activating with this product key - it says it activated, but when I open the program, it's not activated. Please help.

I am installing Mathcad Prime 6 on Windows 7 computer.I download pim_installmgr_mathcad_6V2.exe and run it.I get to the step where directory selection is, but it does not show any application that I can select and does not let me go to next step.List of applications is empty.What should I do to fix the problem and continue installation?

When I try to acquire license this comes up "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type." . How do I do now?

I've started the installation process for MathCAD Express, but when I reach the "Application Selection" step there are no applications to choose from. I'm not sure how to correct this issue.

If i am connected to my corporate proxy - the install fails to load asking me to check my network connection. If i drop off my corporate proxy the installer loads. The installer also has to pull download files for product components. I need to know:1. Is there an offline installer available?2. What are the domain and IP proxy exceptions needed for your product? That includes installer loads, product downloads and account registration that occurs post install.Thank you! - Bryan

There is no option to download Mathcad once I reach the "application selection" section of the installation software, it just shows a blank prompt. what do I do to fix this?

When I download the Installation file, the Application Selection appears empty.

Hello,I try to install and open Mathcad 15 on a new PC and when i try to start the mathcad exe, i get an error message that is in german and i propably cant translate it 1:1 but it says something like "the requested license contains an error. invalid host / the hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file...". I downloaded the setup and installed mathcad with it multiple times because i wanted mathcad on my 2nd drive thats not the c drive with windows on it but even with custom installation selected in the installer, it installed mathcad always on the c drive and i shifted the license file around a few times aswell and tried opening mathcad during mulitple iterations of this process. I thought i mention that in case that might throw things off or corrupt the linces file or whatever. I deleted and reinstalled the license file aswell naturally.And also, if i am on the website and press on the top left corner, select "manage and monitor software" and press

Hello, I purchased a permanent academic licence for MathCad Prime 3.1 in late 2016.  I have had to replace the HDD on my computer and have re-installed Mathcad Prime 3.1 using the DVD which came with my order and Mathcad is working in express mode right now.  However, I cannot access the flexnet software (insufficient privileges) required to install my licence and restore full functionality as I do not have a current support contract.  This does not seem right to me as I was told that I had a permanent licence for Prime 3.1 when I bought it.  I am attaching my latest licence file from PTC if this helps.     Any assistance would be appreciated.     Mike O'Neill

Our company has been using MathCAD Plus 6.0However it doesn't seem to work anymore when we migrate our operating system to Windows 10 - 64 bits.We're looking for a solution that allows us to continue running our Mathcad files (*.mcd) created on the new operating systemwith minimal hassle. I have downloaded the trial version of PTC Mathcad Express but couldn't use that to open the mcd file.Could you tell me what options I have? Will MathCad 15.0 work in this case? Thanks.

I received a link to the 30 days free trial of Mathcad Express but the installation fails. I tried multiple times.

Installer does not show any applications available for install in the "Application Selection" tab. Continuing by pressing install says that it will install 200mb, but does not seem to actually install anything.

Trying to get Mathcad 15.0 installed. I talked to a representative and started the process of a free trial but for some reason the download stalls at 50% and the number in the progress bar turns from black at 25% to red at 50%. I tried waiting but after an hour I assumed something was wrong. There is a previous version of Mathcad 15.0 installed on laptop being used

I have to activate my license every time i open Mathcad. How can I apply my activation so that this is not necessary.

I have tried to install my copy of Mathcad 11 on a new computer (Windows 10 64-bit) as the old one is no longer viable. I have had no luck. I can't even get to a screen where I can enter the KEY and start the activation process.  I have the original CD and the product KEY. This is what I get when I launch "setup"    Any help would be great appreciated. BTW I do have Prime 6.0 and Mathcad 15 installed on the new PC.

I have a manual flexlm install with one instance of lmgrd listening on port 27000. Multiple vendor daemons are successfully running under that. I'd like to add the new vendor daemon ptd_d into the mix but I'm getting "status 25 Invalid Host" errors when the license file is read.   17:03:36 (lmgrd) REstarted ptc_d17:03:36 (lmgrd) Done rereading17:03:36 (lmgrd) ...Finished rereading17:03:41 (lmgrd) ptc_d exited with status 25 (Invalid host)   My PTC license file looks like this:   SERVER myhostname PTC_HOSTID=XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX 27000DAEMON ptc_d "c:\flexlm\ptc_d.exe" 7788   The host machine has two NICs installed. The PTC license file is keyed to the first/main/active NIC.   lmgrd 11.16.2 ptc_d 11.14.1.2 (also tried 11.16.1.2, no change) Windows 10 64 bit   I've tried various permutations of putting things in quotes, using opt files, etc. I even regenerated the license file to use the other NIC/MAC address, no change. When one goes to install Mathcad (ver Prime 3.1), the program asks for the product code.  I have looked at all the info I have from PTC (fulfillment letter, hard copy of software, etc) but I do not see it.   Can anyone advise where I would find the product code?   thanks   m8ike
