Hello everyone Could someone give me instruction how to add frame  for inspection dimension in Creo Direct Modeling/Annotation 20.0. The only possibility I found is to add balloon frame to dimension, but result is not nice and is not work for a single number see picture 1, but wish to have it like a std one see picture 2. 

How can I fill in a Drawing_2d attribute with an existing Masterdata attribute automatically when a new drawing is created?

I have a model in Creo Direct express and need this to be saved as a Step file. I already contacted PTC to upgrade but I expect that the COVID has closed down communication. I want to upgrade to Creo 7 but don't get any reaction/ response from PTC.  Can anybody help me out in the meantime? I am in urgent need to get my Bundle in a Step file.  It would be highly appreciated. You can send me a message or an email so that I can share the model. Hello,   I know that my following query may not have a solution and I may be stuck doing everything over again. However, I am hoping some of you might have some insight on any tricks I can use to make my life easier.   What I am Trying to do: I have .mi files that are finished and ready to be sent to a manufacturer. However, I want to attach the corresponding 3D part to the .mi file so that an external person can reference the 3D geometry of the part without opening another file.   This essentially makes it function like a .BDL file where in one file I can access the part and the annotated drawing.   (Originally was only going to send .mi files...looking back I should have just saved everything as a .bdl file, but I no longer can)   Questions: 1) Is this possible? Can I import the corresponding part to the opened .mi file, have it sync up so that the 2D views correspond with a 3D view and save it as a BDL file? 2) If so, how do I sync up the 2D views with the 3

Currently, when a command is started from the mini toolbar, the full UI is not shown. Pressing shift+space will open up the full UI for the command. Is there a way to automatically show the full UI without having to hit shift+space? More often than not, I need the full ui open.

Hello,   I am trying to write a LISP routine to iteratively create views of all open models. I found some stuff on the internet but am not able to modify it properly to get what I want. I also tried using the inbuilt Recorder to get some lisp..   Can someone help me on how do I loop through a list of things.. parts in this case and perform a set of actions on each of them? The sd-inq-part-density command can be modified to find the density of the contents, instance or realized.  However; I cannot get the kind option to work.     I added this to a lisp (sd-inq-part-density part (kind :contents))   but this does not work.  With out the (kind :contents) it works find.   Any suggestions?   Below is copied from the help in Version 19.1.   (sd-inq-part-density part &optional (kind :realized)) Description: Returns density of the specified part. Hi~   My win 10 OS is not in English,and opening CEDM 19.0 from the Start menu  the interface is in English. When I double-click the * .pkg file to open the program, the interface is follow the language of OS. How to set double-click * .pkg file to open it is also English interface?   Thanks.

Salve, quando cerco di salvare un modello in formato .PKG mi da sempre questo errore: Creo Elements/Direct Modeling non è in grado di creare il fascicolo "H:/X_FILES/xxxxxx/xxx_xx_xxxxxxxxx/xxx.pkg". Verificare che la memoria virtuale sia sufficiente e che esista abbastanza spazio nella directory di destin. e in "C:/Users/SAMMI~1.RIZ/AppData/Local/Temp/0hkfh5p4u65pjsv9196.autotmp". (Errore 1) lo spazio nel disco non manca ma non riesco a salvare. Aiuto  

Hi~   In 13.1a version it conveniently to display one viewport to preview select view you want to add.   But in 19.0 version this feature is disappeared. It there setting to set the feature work?   Thanks.

Hi~   When you do "move views" command, you have to move cursor onto another view 1 or 2 second to display auxiliary line in 19.0 version. It's not so conveniently. Is there a setting adjustment to make display all auxiliary line? As before 13.1 version.   Thanks      

I have a multisheet-drawing in Annotation and want to Export it to a multisheet-DXF, but I always get on sheet. Is there a workarount to resolve the Problem, because DXF is multisheet-possible.
