I have a short (hopefully) hold on a contract I support and am looking to suppliment my income while I wait for the hold to be lifted.  Over the last few months, I become proficient in documenting existing Windchill systems.   I'm currently offering the ability to document your workflows, no matter how complicated.  For instance, one simple workflow I documented had 95 pages of documentation to it.    Documenting the workflows this way enables your tech support, future solutions architects, sponsor (client) or even your technical personal to see all the workflow data in one spot, without needing to open individual workflow items and create screenshots from within every returned graphic and tab.  Though its not exactly the solutions architecture work I like, I believe it can provide great savings to your customer/client/internal.   It also reveals the differences between what your requirements documents say and what was coded in t

I decided to quote one of my favorite poets tonight 🙂   While I was reviewing Top Contributors for December, I was looking out my New England window at the tall pines armored by interlocking, white, deep frozen water molecules.  A thought came to me about how perfectly each snowflake (all unique and different) came together to make a beautiful shield for the branches of these fine trees against the cold. November just absolutely flew by!  It went almost as quickly as it seemed like the gorgeous leaves with all different hues began to dry up and krinkle into the frost outside my window.   Hence, the reason you are getting "October Top Engager Recognition" on Thanksgiving Eve (for those of you in the USA). For those in the states, have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy some time with your family or out in creation. If you are not celebrating Thanksgiving this week, still take a moment to pause and look at all the things in your life that make you appreciative.   Instead of posting a funny, pun, riddle or story problem, I would like to encourage you to reply with something for which you are thankful. Giving thanks doesn't necessarily mean that you liked all the things that have happened (i.e. 2020), but in future years you will look back and see how things have shaped you.   I am thankful for my family, for a roof over my head, for the many blessing that I have. I am thankful for the shed blood of my Savior that paid for all my faults. I am thankful for snowflakes, for starry skies, for the details of insects, for DNA codes to discover. I am thankful for science and the rules, laws, and principle that are there to be revealed.   Have a great weekend and be blessed.  

Have a blessed weekend and start are the list of things that you are thankful for this year, in spite of the year.     One day, Einstein, Newton, and Pascal meet up and decide to play a game of "hide and seek". Einstein volunteered to go first. As he counted, Pascal ran away scrambling to find a great hiding place. Giddily, he squeezed into a crawl space sure that he would win this time as this was his best hiding spot to date and Newton surely wouldn't find an equal. Newton, on the other hand, stood right in front of Einstein, pulled out a piece of chalk, and drew a box on the ground of roughly 1x1 meters. Once this was completed, he sat down neatly inside the box and waited for Einstein to finish counting. When Einstein opened his eyes, he of course saw Newton and with a bit of disappointment said “I found you, Newton, you lose”... but Newton replied, “On the contrary, you are looking at one Newton over a square meter... Pascal loses!”

So, Tuesday, Nov. 17th was national "Take a Hike" Day!  Hunting season over here so orange attire required.:) How about more PTC Community Member hiking, nature photos with or without a puppy?  Please share your nature excursion as a reply.  Get outside!              

How did it get to be November already........ Spiced cider and a warm fire are not as compelling when you are going to have a 70 degree day in November.     Why was the obtuse triangle always upset? Because it was never right   What do geometry teachers have decorating their floors? Area rugs!

In standard New England tradition, my family recently enjoyed "apple picking" at Red Apple Farm in Philipston, Massachusetts.    I had no idea there were so many kinds of apples.  The beautiful Red Apple Farm has over 51 varieties !  We were able to find MacIntosh, Paula Red, Ginger Gold, and Honey Crisp.  We made two apple pies and homemade apple sauce.  Yum!!   Two bags of apples remain.  Do you have any favorite apple baking recipes to share? If you don't have a recipe, maybe you can reply with an apple quote!  I like those too. 🙂   Here's an apple quote from Henry David Thoreau, "Surely the apple is the noblest of fruit!"  What makes an apple noble?  Maybe it is because it is known that "an apple a day keeps the doctor away?"    Apples have an array of antioxidants which helps prevent cell damage in the body.  Apples are also rich in minerals, fiber and vitamins (particularly Vitamin C).  Wha
