Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR) successfully completed a company-wide three year effort implementing a comprehensive PTC Windchill Implementation of 10.1. To ensure success, AR contracted with PTC Global Services and PTC Partners while working with PTC Research and Development and the Technical Committees.  The migration included four major systems (Team Center Unified, Team Center Enterprise, SAP and Documentum), multiple databases and integrating into our current production PTC Windchill PDMLink 10.1 environment used for PTC Creo CAD. ECAD design data management is the ‘new frontier'. While this has been the ‘norm’ on the mechanical side for years, it is only now coming onto the radar for ECAD. By adding the challenges associated with team design and hierarchical design data management the process can become very complex very quickly.
