Other Creo Products (View/Sketch/Illustrate/Layout/ Schematics and Creo Direct)

It would be  very useful for put an internal sketch out of the feature in order to use it for others features  

Since MacOS is more and more popular, PTC should support Creo Parametric on Apple MacOS, just like NX 9.0

Possibility to create text directly in the sketch of surface features like EXTRUDE , FILL and also for the OFFSET feature.   Actually we must do a curve sketch before and in the sketch of the surface feature, do a "Use Edge"....Sometime long...   ...And we can't use a variable text from a parameter: if the text change, the "use edge" feature fail.   (need: a variable groove number on tools....)  

For current funcationality, creo file name only support English and numbers. For NX and Solidworks, both support full lanuguages, for example japanese, Chinese, korean. PTC should provide Creo file name support other language characters to fill customers requirement

Very often I need to open more then one file at once and it isn't possible in Creo Parametric. I think standard selection modes like using <Ctrl> or <Shift> should be possible.

Show release information in Pro/E and Creo title bar, for example show as "Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0" instead of "Pro/ENGINEER", "Creo Parametric 2.0" instead of "Creo Parametric"

If a user asks for a certain function or feature the support should not just write "dear user please open a product idea". Instead the PTC support should "officially" open a new idea and offer the user to vote for it. In the "New" dialogue box in Creo change the label of the "Name" field to be "File Name" since that actually what it is.  Then it will be consistent with what Windchill calls "File Name". Secondly, change the "Common Name" title in the dialogue box to be simply "Name", again this would make it consistent with what Windchill labels "Name".  Not having these two attribute titles consistent between these to tools that are intimately integrated has caused untold amounts of discussion/confusion and mistakes.  

Allow spaces in filenames.  Yeah, it's simple.  Make PTC software save files like every other software on the planet.

In general, we save a copy the file, just want to modify the saved a copy file and keep the original file. So PTC neeed change the save a copy behavior the same as the other software, for example Microsoft office and 3-rd 3D CAD Solidworks, after save a copy the file,  open the saved a copy file in session automatically.

Now launch Creo parametric, creo direct, creo schematics, creo Illustrate, creo view only via separate shortcuts. Unable to launch other application from existing launching application, I think PTC should provide the ability to switch between all the applications "on the fly", for example, switch from Creo Parametric to Creo Direct ,Creo View MCAD or Creo Illustrate, just like CATIA style. Or can launch other applications from one existing application.

Looking to a way to indicate the location of the other end of fibers using cross sheet graphics that does not use the row/column text.  Some uses of our designs do not keep the border with the rows and columns shown.   I am looking to use something like P21-A SHEET 2 or K12 P21-A SHEET 2We use a hybrid design system where K12 is the parent of connector P21 and A is the port id within P21. We require that the designers NOT duplicate the connector numbers, so just using that and the port will identify the connection location but adding in the component would make it easier for the user to find it on the design.

I'm working in creo schematic 2.0, m020.  How do I get the fiber labels to move with the fibers?currently when I move a fiber the label stays in the old location and doesn't move with the fiber.thank you

i have solid model, i need to select some curved edges in the model and convert in to a entities, i mean like a sketch.  so i can use for a sweep.   thanks in advance.

We have multiple versions of cross sheet graphics and sometimes a wrong one has been placed.  Is it possible to change one that has been placed without removing the connection and starting over?

With no fanfare or warning (or even a note on the help page), exporting a design sheet will save your design. If you erase parts that you do not want exported, this will erase them from your design PERMANENTLY.   At a minimum, the program should warn you and let you stop the process before it destroys design information. A better solution should be to give the user a choice to save or not to save.

It is very difficult to align the ends of the fan out portion of a fiber to a grid that is used to align fibers on the diagram.  Many times it requires a short section of a fiber to be added to link it to the grid which then blocks the automatic placement of a label for the fiber.  https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS283485 'Warning "Fiber segment is too short for fiber W-# to correctly display label." when changing the label location in Creo Schematics'   Unfortunately, the proffered "solution" is unworkable.  "Workaround- Modify the fiber to increase its length so that label can be displayed"Doing that either requires that the main part of the fiber be kept off grid to the location the fan out creates or that the short, odd angle, extension be lengthened to take up much more space and put the label in an awkward location.   The only real work around I have been able to find is to create a label elsewhere along the fiber and move it into the desired pos

Hello,     Since we were using Palo Alto VPN service and windows for connecting to company's servers when  working outside the company and it was working ok   Now we started using Windows with Direct Access to remotely connect to the company server. Now the files on the server can be seen normally, but the Creo cannot connect to the license. The output is that Creo does not start.   When contacting support in our country, they said, that Direct Access is working on IPV6 protocol, which is not supported in current version of Creo 2.0 M120.   Please fix this!!!!

Every model I open has this same distortion. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still have this issue. This issue occurs on even the smallest file sized models.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  when i first open the model everything is fine until i drag the mouse courser over the model. I am using creo view lite 4.1

when I save a file as stp in the Creo view 4.1, it changed the parts automatically. LH picture shows my original file structure the RH picture is what I saved in the 4.1.    No this issue in the creo view 3.0 before.

Hi All   We are trying to find out if anyone is using Windchill and CreoView successfully on a windows tablet   Our plan is to have a tablet connected to our Windchill server then while out in the production shop we can get the CreoView model and do a flythrough on location   what we want is how easy is it to navigate CreoView fly-through on a tablet. what are your recommendations on which is the best windows tablet for this purpose   many thanks   David

I need to add Creo Illustrate to my existing Windchill system but I cannot find any documentation to talk me through it. Does anyone have some documentation I can access or is there some on PTC site?  Or is this a project for a 3rd party?  Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
