I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 10.2 and Datecode with CPS M010How to change the wcadmin account password, through the interface changes, after a while can not be used, and affect the use of the work machine

When trying to compile the Windchill Customizations (developed originally using JDK 8/Windchill 11) using JDK 11 (Windchill 12) we are getting compilation issues due to several packages being accessible from multiple modules.   For ex: org.w3c.dom package is now included in jdk11 jar by default (Module Path), but is also present in ie3rdpartylibs, xmlParserAPIs and dom4j jars (Class path).   We understand that JDK 11 is enforcing a modularity check to ensure the same package is not referenced in multiple jars. However it is also understood that module-info.java is not necessary to be configured for JDK 8 to 11 migration. As long as the relevant jars are added to the classpath, the code should be able to compile using JDK 11 as well.   How does PTC handle these issues when working with JDK 11 and Eclipse (version 4.16)?    

Is it possible to add CAD Documents in the 'Description' relationship? The help center suggests so.https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.0.2.0/en/#page/Windchill_Help_Center%2FObjectOviewObjectRelationships.html%23However, we could only create/search for WTDocs in the described by table of a part. Any insights will be helpful

Hello,We are having Parts with multiple classifications. Windchill .windchill pdmlink 12.0.2.7windchill partslink 12.0.2.7windchill 12.0.2.14 service pack Does anyone know what controls the order in which the classification groups are displayed on the Details tab in product information?It does not seem to be alphabetical (see attached screenshot). Neither the display value nor the internal name.It also seems to be neither in the order of object ID value nor the order in which the classifications was added to the Part.The Sort order property of the classification node also does not seem to influence this. Hopefully someone knows a way to influence the order in which the classification groups are displayed. Thanks in advanceMagnus

Hello, I am trying to load global enumerations from windchill 11.1 to windchill 12.0 using Load from file command. However, I am facing an an uniqueness exception in doing so. The windchill version for the target system is 12.0.2.15 with CPS15 installed. I have attached the log file containing the error. How to configure Windchill server as a MS service

Hi all, we are upgrading Windchill 11.0 to target Windchill 12.1.2.3 version.In our source, Cognos was present, but PTC discontinued the Cognos from Windchill 12 onwards. In this case, Installed Windchill modules our Source and Target will be different, but as per PTC, source and Target must have same modules installed. Is anyone doing such upgrade? if yes, please share the procedure, as not found anything on PTC articles. Thanks,Vivek

Hi All,   There is an issue with below scenario.The user is active in windchill, and he has active license. He tries to login to Windchill with correct credentials. Even after entering the correct credentials, that credentials dialogue box keeps on popping up again and again which stops him to login to Windchill. Account wise, everything is fine.Please suggest the resolution. Thanks

Hello, Does anybody has suggestion on how to launch PSI in Linux Environment? I try to launch it using the setup file in the installer but it fails. Hello,I have updated the current windchill installation 12.0 with CPS15 with the modules ESI and project link. However, when installing through PSI I didnt select create database schema option and now I get the SQL exception of the table does not exist. The Server Manager, Method Server and Backgroung Method Server logs are generated but the windchill doesnt start. Hello,Could anyone confirm if the Windchill 12 base license can create and manage WTpart? I am being told only Windchill advanced license can create WTpart since it has EBOM management feature.  My understanding was that Wtpart creation is part of the core PDM functionality included in base licenses. We were planning to use base license for all design engineers to auto associate Wtpart during check-in process. and use advanced license for the BOM planning team and Managers.   Kindly confirm as per your experience.Thank you   

Hi All I have a customization that displays the structure of a selected part with the columns being thier attributes in a JSP. All the columns are editable with textboxes in each row. I have a find and replace function in that page that allows me to replace text in mass. But I'm unable to do it as beyond a particular row count, when I try to find a text using document.getElementById it returns null. I tried the solution https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS132804 which disables redrawing rows but still no luck. I'm able to do it only when I scroll through the entire table and load all the rows manually. Is there any workaround or is there any script that would load all rows of a table.
