After downloading Creo 2.0 and Creo 1.0 student editions, the zip files are not opened.They show error in opening.Please help in this issue.

I was wondering whether the Creo Advanced Frameworks extension was available to FRC teams. I was recently discussing CAD software with some people who mentioned that, for something like FRC, the Frameworks extension was probably the way to go and one of the major advantages they saw to using Creo as opposed to another program. I haven't seen anything on that before (having really only limeted my use of Creo to the Parametric app and a little bit of simulation), and to be honest I had no idea that there were extensions for stuff like that for Creo. It makes me wonder a bit whether there's been anything else I'm missing that would speed up our process!Anyways, just looking for whether anyone knows if the Frameworks extension is available to FRC teams, and if so, how to access it.

Can Creo 2.0 still be used on our home computer with this software or do we not have the right requirements. Downloaded it but it won't run.

Hi thereI want to set up a relation between one dimension and a result of one measurement. I am a FIRST FTC mentor of a rookie team and struggling with installation. Using the install from web option. I have my firewall off and am running as administrator. When I try to generate a license code it tells me invalid and to contact support. When I try to use the license code I rec'd in the email I get the following error message. Being fairly new at PTC/Creo, I often find myself in the middle of a complex 2d sketch and then when I try to save it gives an error like. Too many open loops.I search over the sketch, re-examine dimensions, check lines... intersections... and eventually find a stray line bit or something not quite square.The question is. Does anyone have any tricks, or perhaps there is a way in the software, to analyze the sketch and bring out these errors quickly. It has been a while I started using Creo Elements 2.0 with which I had worked a lot of modelling and designing. The problem that I am currently facing is, I can see basic views no more. I have attached a copy of the image as attachment. Please do help me out with this bug. I have lots of projects models to do in University. Hellojust wondering, when we did our training we got Creo 1 discs (which I uploaded on to my home pc) and now we have Creo 2 on the school system. Is it possible to update Creo 1 to Creo 2 or do I need to uninstall Creo 1 to upload 2? also is there a link to upload 2?thanksJeremy

Hello everybody!!Ok, so I've been working with some stuff related with tags and wrapping but I'm in a biiig trouble! When I try to create a new tag, Arbortext tells me that is out of context, I understand this is because this new tag is not in my DTD, is that correct? However, I would like to know if there's an option to create or modify my configuration in order to declare my new tag. Please, i f anybody have more information about this topic, I would really really appreciate your help. I'm sad because I haven't found any detailed information. Does "Goto Sheet" functionality still exist in Creo 2.0? Would be helpful for very large fixture drawings 50+ sheets. Old mapkeys no longer work, so I am assuming this functionality may be gone. Does not show up in the Command Search tool.

Hi at present the school uses pro desktop 2000i one of our students has done his course work in the above version and as such we cant open it in school without installing the above version.Question is this software still available and what are the license issues, can we still install the student version for free?thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong forum im new here.

I recently replaced the computer I used to run Creo on for a more modern machine. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any information on how to transfer my installation to my new computer. I have no need to keep Creo on the old computer (which I still have access to), however I'm also a little bit reticent to remove it without knowing that I can get Creo on my new computer. Does anyone have any links to the sort of process I'll have to go through, or for that matter any information on getting Creo on my new machine?

Hello,I am trying to get a list with the X,Y,Z, and yaw, pitch, roll for coordinate systems that I have patterened across a curved surface. I have not even been able to figure out how to pull the location data for just 1 coordinate system. Can anyone help me on this?

We purchased two copies in preparation for a class to be offered next semester at our school, and have encountered several hurdles in the download/installation process, I am afraid. So I am hoping we can get this up and running soon! The company we purchased the software from said we should contact Creo for our installation problems. I hope I am posting in the right place. =] Basically, the install freezes up at this point.I had found a previous post in which someone had had an identical problem to mine, namely that the installation stalls at 1%The solution offered was to email someone for a disk with the needed files, I believe.Sadly, I was not able to locate this post again to avoid spamming up your forum. I am trying to install Creo 2 on one of our team's laptops, Dell Precision M60, NVIDIA Quadro FX Go700. I have a clean install of Windows XP Professional SP3. I am logged in as Owner / Administrator. I have Windows Firewall and my Anti-Virus software both turned off. I am connected to my Home Network via Ethernet port, Belkin Router, with Firewall turned off. I have downloaded the installation DVD, applied for and received a Product Code from PTC. When I attempt to install Creo 2 from the DVD the instructions work as advertised up to the point, Step 6 in the e-mail, where I attempt to Accept License agreement. The box to enter the product code is grayed out and I am unable to enter the code.Any suggestions?Thanks, Lance
