Hi,I am a student and University asked me to download Pro engineer wildfire 4 schools edition..I'm going to install it by double-clicking the "setup.exe" ,then a window opens and the loading bar stops and a message " "ptcsetup.exe" has stopped working" appeared. Why? A friend has the same PC configuration and it works for him but not for me...Hoping you find a solution to my problem.Good evening.Kevin

I'm follow the instructions given in an email:Step 1: Download Creo 2.0Install from the web (26 MB) - Download a small executable to start setup for Creo 2.0. I wanted to download the Creo Schools Edition. An email was sent to me, providing the Product Code and an installation guide. I followed. However, after downloading the setup file which creates a valid license and inserting the Product Code. It said error. May I noe why is that so? Can someone help us?

I happened to mention to our regional FTC Affiliate Partner that I had attended a PTC Hands-On Workshop, and now somehow find myself signed up to give a brief overview of the PTC software at an upcoming short after-school season kickoff. It will be a very short event (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on a Friday afternoon), so I would expect I would only need to fill an hour or so of time.Jordan Cox was gracious enough to point out some pieces of the workshop agenda that could be used in the context of a short overview, but I wanted to reach out to the the PTC FIRST community to ask for more suggestions.In your experience, what do you think would be the most fruitful things to show which might trigger an "aha" moment among other FIRST teams and mentors? Hi,I have a problem with the area on which the model shows (CREO 2). It is still covered with explorer (see picture). I can move with explorer, but the model is not visible.I have Intel HD Graphics 3000 (HP Pavilion G7-1151eb).Can I ask for help? Thanks a lot!J

Week 4 of the Robotalk Webinar season was spent discussing ways of accessing and using sensor data in a Mathcad worksheet. The topic arose organically after a number of FRC & FTC teams forwarded requests for assistance or examples of worksheets that relied upon sensor data. Although I was unable to prepare the opening tutorial prior to the webinar due to a bad, BAD cold, we got a good head start on the topic. Within a week I should have the tutorial video ready.  As a teaser at the start of the webinar, I showed a demo of Mathcad-Creo Integration using a video created by Mathcad Application Engineer Roger Yeh. The video is a model for both PTC's Product Development Process and PTC's FIRST Robotics Curriculum. Enjoy! Mathcad Application Engineer Roger Yeh illustrates the principles of a Product Development System that fully leverages Mathcad and Creo to improve the design and engineering of products. The workflow shown in Roger's demo is typical of the product development process employed by PTC's customers. I recently registered two teams of students for the RWDC and am eager to start.I'm downloading all the software to distribute to my students currently and read last years aviation challenge example report.Registering for the discussions was the last on my list of items I can complete so far.This is my fist time participating in the challenge and do not really know what to expect outside reading the report posted on the website.I plan on meeting with my teams of students twice a week after school, as that is what I've read was done by other teams.I would really apreciate hearing from veterans of the program:How often do you meet with your students per week?Have you ever had multiple teams, and how did it work out?When will the mentor list be posted?When will the challenge be posted?Thanks in advance for your help.

Designing a MP3 speaker case influenced by the theme of high speed trains. I used a varety of modelling techniques within the software to create a series of parts and assemble them together before rendering them as a CAD model. Below are the stages I took in carrying out this modeling process. I was trained by Sheffield Hallam University.Image one shows the protrusion for the basic shape of the body. This is part oneImage two shows the body shape after applying a series of sketches, extrusions and rounding of edges. Image 3 shows the body of the speaker part after it has been shelled. Since I know many of our Community members are real super-users and we would also like to encourage discussion about our tutorials here on PlanetPTC Community, I am posting the question below. Please help answer Peter's question!The 2 min videos are excellent! A question re using mapkeys in Creo Parametric I am trying to rebuild a number of mapkeys we had in WF3. In a number of cases the mapkey sequence requires selecting an option from another tab. This tends to leave the focus in the new tab not the one the user was working in. Is there a way of storing information re the original tab sot hat the mapkey can return the focus? Thanks in advance!Bettina
