Hi FolksI have Creo 2 student edition installed but when i try to run Layout 2.0 the software all I am getting is a box pop us with with a chinese symbol along the top a yellow triangle and the word Message beside it, there is an OK button but the box disappears and Layout 2.0 does not start.I am running Vista SP2.I have ran the reconfigure to see if that made a difference, I have also reinstalled the quality agent with no difference.any help appreciated.

I'm having problem with creo 2.0 student edition. Installation went well but when i run the creo parametric or any other module it keeps crashing after Splash screen.Intel Dual Core E5500 CPU,4 GB DDR RAM, ATI RADEON 5450 GRAPHICS ADAPTER.please help..thanks

Week 6 of PTC Robotalk 2012 focused on Conceptual Design using PTC Creo. Jordan Cox prepared a video demonstrating the use of Creo Parametric to construct a dynamic 3-D concept model using "block parts" rather than material from the FRC kit of parts. Hi,I've Creo 2.0 Student Version and wanted to install it.At installation allthing runs well. All OK.But if I start Creo 2.0 Parametric then there comes an errormessage: "Could not start the quality assistant. Errorcode: 0x5".I'm from germany so my error looks like the picture.What should I do?Thanks alot.

I am part of the Kettering, Ohio team, and our students have still not recieved invites to the windchill project page. The instructor has recieved an email, however, approximately a few weeks ago. We registered within the first few days that registrations was open, and included email information for all of the participating students. Even so, we have still been waiting for the invitation. If we have possibly done anything wrong, please let me know, or if it is delayed, I would like to know that we will recieve the invitation still at an approximate date. From the webinar I heard that most teams had already recieved the emails, so I was concerned because our team registered fairly early after registration opened and have not recieved anything besides the instructor email.

September was Mathcad month! PTC's FIRST Program team decided to begin the year with Mathcad Prime because FIRST participants can use Mathcad's capabilities in their STEM classes at school as well as when designing a robot. In fact, we believe that if students use Mathcad in math, science, and engineering classes at school, they will be better able to apply their subject matter knowledge in FIRST Robotics. Thus, Mathcad was a logical place to start the Robotalk season. Weeks 1-3 introduced Mathcad's interface to the participants, taught basic skills of creating an engineering worksheet, and demonstrated Mathcad's tools for both numeric and algebraic (CAS) solutions to problems. Mathcad offers great functionality for measurement and instrumentation applications. In this video Chris Hartmann demonstrates the use of the READCSV command, one of many data importing functions, to easily import sensor data into a Mathcad worksheet so that the data can be plotted, modeled, and interpreted in a self-documenting worksheet. Mathcad Prime has excellent matrix capabilities for entering, managing, representing, and analyzing data. Hi,I am a student and University asked me to download Pro engineer wildfire 4 schools edition..I'm going to install it by double-clicking the "setup.exe" ,then a window opens and the loading bar stops and a message " "ptcsetup.exe" has stopped working" appeared. Why? A friend has the same PC configuration and it works for him but not for me...Hoping you find a solution to my problem.Good evening.Kevin

I wanted to download the Creo Schools Edition. An email was sent to me, providing the Product Code and an installation guide. I followed. However, after downloading the setup file which creates a valid license and inserting the Product Code. It said error. May I noe why is that so? Can someone help us?

I happened to mention to our regional FTC Affiliate Partner that I had attended a PTC Hands-On Workshop, and now somehow find myself signed up to give a brief overview of the PTC software at an upcoming short after-school season kickoff. It will be a very short event (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on a Friday afternoon), so I would expect I would only need to fill an hour or so of time.Jordan Cox was gracious enough to point out some pieces of the workshop agenda that could be used in the context of a short overview, but I wanted to reach out to the the PTC FIRST community to ask for more suggestions.In your experience, what do you think would be the most fruitful things to show which might trigger an "aha" moment among other FIRST teams and mentors? Dear all, the installation was stopped at 2% and I captured the screen and attached with this message. I did try for several times but no lucks. Please help.

HiIm trying to install Creo1.0 student version. The installation guide says that I should obtain a licence from http://free-dl.ptc.com/install/Setup.exe , but the site doesn't link to any file. Does anyone know what I can do ? - Regards Jógvan

Hi,I have a problem with the area on which the model shows (CREO 2). It is still covered with explorer (see picture). I can move with explorer, but the model is not visible.I have Intel HD Graphics 3000 (HP Pavilion G7-1151eb).Can I ask for help? Thanks a lot!J
