PTC Education

Hello everybody,Recently I installed Creo 3.0 on my Computer (I have a MacBook, but I run Windows on a bootcamp partition).Unfortunately it won't work. Each time I try to start the program there's an error saying the Quality Manager can't run and Creo shuts down(error 0x0000000b, 0x06000001).As far as I understood, the Quality Agent is supposed to manage the students' license.The Registration for the license worked well. I use the BK400407EDSTUDENTUNI as license Code.I already tried to uninstalling and reinstalling everything several times. I tried to do the same with the Quality Agent, but I didn't have any success.One Thing seems weird to me: I got a mail "PTC License Pack" saying I installed Creo 2.0 - which I didn't. Maybe this is the source of my troubles.If anybody had a hint, I would be very grateful!

  Our School Creo Licence server on is unreachable by the client PCs.  Don’t know why it has dropped, but I tried to reconfigure the flexnet server with with no success.  I had a look around but cant find any information on how to configure.  Any help would be awesome, so we can continue teaching the course. 

I have single parts of a complete models in a different files, each part having extension .prt. please tell me how can i combine every part to complete my model. as I'm using Pro Engineering wildfire 5.0 version

hello,   I'm running a mapkey on all PRT files of a DATA base.   there are several educative files in the folders, and when the mapkey try to open this kind of object, it crashes instead of going to the next. I would like to exclude by deleting this educ files, but I don't know how to identify a PRT Educ file compared to a PRT Professional file.     is there a code behind the file? R.

Hi, I'm a student user of Creo 2.0. I downloaded a number of tools after activating my license, one of those tools being Creo simulate. I attempted to upload an assembly that I had in my files, but after converting the measurements of the pieces I received this error message.I then clicked the OK box and was shown this windowI selected the OK box for this window and was given the same error message as before, which error message took me back to the model setup after I acknowledged it. I selected the cancel option on the model setup and was asked if I wanted to save the changes I had made to the assembly. I tied to save the model, but I received this error message.Even if I could save the changes made, it doesn't appear that I can use any of the features anyway. They all display the first error message. Anyone got any ideas?

Here's what I get.  Last model tree indicates multiple screw-ups.  What am I doing wrong?  I was trying to use "profile rib" in Model ribbon.

From ThingWorks Market place I have downloaded extension for Meshlium extreme. Now in ThingWorks composer when I am trying to open my downloaded extension for Meshlium Extreme I am getting error thatCode:Extension must have a metadata.xml file. After importing this file only I can move forward. So please guide me for the same.Following are the steps what we have followed.1. We have downloaded the extension for Libelium Meshlium and Dashboard from ThingWorks marketplace. (Zip Files)2. Hi, I installed Creo 3.0 student version, however when I open Creo parametric I have an error report: 0x6000012 which then proceeds to shut down the program. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks.

I'd like to bring CREO Parametric into my 2-year tech college to start training our students to use CAD.  What is the best and/or most economical way for me to do this?  As an instructor, I already know how to use CREO, I just need instruction on the proper steps (step by step) for getting the software to the students and instructors.  I am also interested in any PTC e-Learning that would be available to aid in my instruction/classes.  Thanks, Mark

Hello,I have completed CREO 2.0 for Design Engineers from an authorized training center in India. Can anyone tell me how can I access my e-learning library from Precision Learning After the Class? The training guide books provided from the ATC ( Authorized Training Center) doesn't show how I can access the online material.

I have two parts: a beam assigned an isotropic material and a shell assigned an orthotropic material. When I run a static analysis, I am informed that the beam has not received a valid material assignment.When I run the static analysis with both parts being assigned an isotropic material, there is no issue.What could be the root of the problem? I am a 1st year Engineering student. I am trying to install PTC Creo 3.0-Student Edition using a disc on my laptop. It seems to have installed and all of the icons are on my desktop. However when I try to open them, there is no action appear on the screen. I put the product code when I installed the programme. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks

"License request failed for feature" ... ?I'm a student with Creo 2.0 on my laptop and have been using it for the last year, but all of a sudden it won't let me use it.Did my license expire? And if so, how do I update it?Helen

can't even draw a 2D sketch without the program being very very laggy and so slow i can't even use it. I have tried running all the windows updates i can, and i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but no luckhas anyone found this problem or is it a hardware problem?my computer is getting a bit old so maybe its a hardware thing?creo has been running well on here for years so im not sure why it would suddenly be so slow to work. thanks for any help you can give me im also very close to a deadline so speedy help would be appreciated!!!Sam

i can't find the the "trace sketch" option in the student edition of creo parametrics... how can i import a raster image into the sketch?
