A student and I are having problems getting connected back to (Not offline) in Creo.  We go through Server Management and the server indicates "offline". Do a right mouse click and uncheck the "work offline" option. The "Synchronize Workspaces" menu pops up. Select the current (or any other) workspace and OK. A message pops up. "Attention - Connection to server is available.The server to which this workspace belongs is now available.Please check for conflicts and out of date workspace data.Checking for server complement of cached workspaces."Select ok.Another pop-up comes up:Attention - Connection to server is unavailable!The server is currently unavailable. In November, I asked for a license update for CREO 3.0 M030.  You sent me CREO 2.0.  I asked about it here on the forum and never heard back.  I am asking again.  Please send a license update for CREO 3.0 M030 Student edition.

Hello.I am trying to integrate Windchill with Inventor. However, I cannot find any way to download this integration software in the educational page. Is this not a feature supported by the educational version?Any information would be helpful.Thanks.

hi,i was trying to run Creo 3.0 academic version on Amazon Web Server, it's a Windows Server 2016 system. Hardware requirements are reached. Running on single Xeon E5 processor, I installed Creo and license without any problem, but when I try to open it, it said it's a student licenses and does not have feature for floating license. It's there a way to apply for floating education license? Because running on Amazon gpu optimized server should save a lot of time and we actually got sponsored by them. We also tried distribut computing, but I don't think academic version support it.‌

Hi, I had creo student and tried to renew my student licence, but it hasn't worked and there's nowhere in the "my account" tab on the PTC website to renew the licence. I require it to work on a university project from home but can't get the account recognised, it gives me an error message when I use the PDF explaining how to do it. Is there any other assistance available? Thank you!

Teams,Going forward, it would be best for everyone to use Internet Explorer for browsing Windchill. There are some significant changes in Chrome and Firefox that are preventing a few core features of Windchill to not operate properly. Primarily Creo View and any Java applets. These issues are well documented for customers, but not accessible to Academic users, so I have attached the Technical Support articles below if you would like to know all the details. PTC is still evaluating when the Academic Windchill server can be upgraded to Windchill 11, which should eliminate some of these issues.

Hi, I tried Creo 4.0 for a while and it's cool! I'm just thinking for activing it before the trial period run out, where can I find the license number? I tried several old license number, but they dont really work. I assume the new number will be something like B?410407EDSTUDENTEDK12 ?BTW the rendering is so nice, tolerance is much easier to use, much better selecting filter and the default orange color of pre-selection. Seems like not crashing that often when doing certain jobs, although it crashes one time when i was using real-time rendering while i was trying to adjust something (i only leave 2 cpu thread while i was overclocking to 4.8GHz.....). Lattice crashes a lot when i overclock over 4.2GHz and generating Lattice pattern with shell.Have a great holiday!

Im a student who is using creo 2.0, I've used it on the school computers without problems just a little slow when doing complicated things, I have it installed on my desktop [windows 8] and have no problems but I have just come to install it on my new laptop and it is running really really slow. When i go to highlight the model or sketch + anything apart from looking through the menus its very slow and almost crashes. My laptop has a Nvidia GTX 960m, i7 processor, ssd, 16gb of ram on windows 10, and should run it without a problem. I have made sure my graphics card is being used rather than the integrated one but no luck, I have also got all the latest graphics drivers. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

When will the educational version of Creo 4.0 be released?

CREO has what appears to be a very useful Animation application, however it is not the easiest to use. Try as I might I have been unable to find a usable tutorial.  There are one or two YouTube efforts but none appear to describe exactly how to get the best out of the app.  Is there by any chance an Animation expert out there? One who could put me right, especially when it comes to parallel animations.

Hi everyone!I've been trying to download PTC Creo 3.0 as a student from this link: http://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo3_schools_standard.pdfWhenever I click on the link at the top of the file (http://www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp) to download the PTC Creo 3.0 DVD image, I get a 404 error from the server. I'm logged into my academic account on the website so I'm not sure if it's just me or if the link is dead.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
