Is anyone else experiencing problems with the rendering facilities in Creo 3?I am finding it almost impossible to create good quality renders of wood grain and difficult to replicate renders that I have previously executed easily with Creo 2.It was possible in Creo 2 to create an acceptable render using the default settings but now it is necessary to adjust lighting otherwise the render is much too dark. Even with lighting adjusted it is very difficult to get a good quality render of grain.I personally am most dissapointed with what I have seen so far.Does anyone have any more positive experiences with the rendering facility?Roy Handley

When will the 2017 FIRST FRC field assembly and kit-of-parts CAD files available for PTC creo?  Will they be available?  Even just the step files would be helpful.Thanks.

I downloaded the FRC 2017 CREO KOP files for the parts and the field , The field looks to be correct but the Parts file only downloaded 7 files ? There must be more files that 7 that should be zipped in this file ? Has anyone else seen this issue ?

I am trying to do a drawing in creo with dimensions and all that cool stuff. The dimensions work and everything, but the borders and table in the bottom right corner will not show up. Is this an issue with the templates possibly not being loaded correctly, or is there something else that i have to do that my exercises have not explained to me? I have attached an example of a drawing that i did, as you can see the borders are not there, and the table in the bottom corner is not the one that is supposed to e with the template, it is just something that i added. If somebody could explain to me how to ix this, that would be greatly appreciated, both by me and my team.

Hello I just got Creo 2.0 installed but whenever I open the program up I get a message that says I have to register the Quallity Agent. When I click to register it gives me an error and says to contact support. The error number is 0x00000009.

A student and I are having problems getting connected back to (Not offline) in Creo.  We go through Server Management and the server indicates "offline". Do a right mouse click and uncheck the "work offline" option. The "Synchronize Workspaces" menu pops up. Select the current (or any other) workspace and OK. A message pops up. "Attention - Connection to server is available.The server to which this workspace belongs is now available.Please check for conflicts and out of date workspace data.Checking for server complement of cached workspaces."Select ok.Another pop-up comes up:Attention - Connection to server is unavailable!The server is currently unavailable. Hello.I am trying to integrate Windchill with Inventor. However, I cannot find any way to download this integration software in the educational page. Is this not a feature supported by the educational version?Any information would be helpful.Thanks.

hi,i was trying to run Creo 3.0 academic version on Amazon Web Server, it's a Windows Server 2016 system. Hardware requirements are reached. Running on single Xeon E5 processor, I installed Creo and license without any problem, but when I try to open it, it said it's a student licenses and does not have feature for floating license. It's there a way to apply for floating education license? Because running on Amazon gpu optimized server should save a lot of time and we actually got sponsored by them. We also tried distribut computing, but I don't think academic version support it.‌

Hi, I had creo student and tried to renew my student licence, but it hasn't worked and there's nowhere in the "my account" tab on the PTC website to renew the licence. I require it to work on a university project from home but can't get the account recognised, it gives me an error message when I use the PDF explaining how to do it. Is there any other assistance available? Thank you!
