I wanted to practice creating services to get a better understanding of what type of things I could do with services for my project. The services I imagine myself needing should not end up being too complex, but as of now I'm hung up on a couple of things.Unfortunately I am not able to take a Fundamentals Course and am limited to the resources found through elearning.IdeaThe actual thing I wanted this service to do seemed pretty simple:I'd have a list of things(they share the same template)I'd select a row, and then push a button to run my service. The service would take(as the input) the name of the selected row(the thing's name), and find out a specific property value of that thing to be output to a 'value display' widget.therefore in the future i would know I could change values, or compare them etc.. I just wanted to do this to prove I could access the correct info.CreatingI'm guessing the problem is knowing the correct way to start. This was my process:I created this service on the
My student edition of Creo 3.0 after several months of usage has now a licensing issue. I have downloaed the latest Creo 3.0, have uninstalled the previous Creo and installed the new downloaded Creo 3.0. The install seemed to go OK, but I am still having licensing issues. How do I rectify this?
(I am not the administrator for my instance)In part 5 of the Raspberry Pi Weather Application project, I get an error when trying to connect the Pi to ThingWorx. the commands I ran are: java -jar ./temperature-thing-jar-with-dependencies.jar ws://xxxxxx.clould.thingworx.com:80//Thingworx/ws b7b95994-865b-446c-ace7-b9438bdf1d80and java -jar ./temperature-thing-jar-with-dependencies.jar wss://xxxxxx.clould.thingworx.com//Thingworx/ws b7b95994-865b-446c-ace7-b9438bdf1d80Also, when I run the simulated command from my desktop, I receive the message that the system cannot find the file, but the .jar file is clearly where it is supposed to be. Any help will be appreciated. The errors from the Pi and Windows are shown below:From my Desktop:C:\temperature-thing\temperature-thing\target>java -jar ./temperature-thing-jar-with-dependencies.jar wss://xxxxxxxx.cloud.thingworx.com//Thingworx/WS</thingworx b7b95994-865b-446c-ace7-b9438bdf1d80 simulatedThe system cannot find the file specified.C:

I recently downloaded the free student edition of Creo 3.0 Parametric so I could do my homework. In the educational edition that I have, there is no model tree so i can't view or select the different datums. I am not very experienced with Creo so this is making it very difficult to complete my homework. Is there a way for me to get the model tree on this edition?
Here's another frequent question related to the use of Creo Parametric and Windchill. When we check CAD files into Windchill, they go to the top level directory. We then have to move them to the CAD directory. Is there a way to get them to always go into the CAD directory? When you create new CAD files in your local workspace, their "home" or folder location in the team project is defined when the CAD file is Checked In. By default, it is always set to the root (top level) folder of the project. You can change this during the Check In process or change your workspace preferences to define a different project folder. Setting the Folder Location During Check In Locate the new items in your local workspace as shown below and initiate a Check In. On the Check In page, use the Select All button to check mark all the new CAD files and then pick the Set Location (folder) icon in the toolbar. This will open the Set Location window allowing you to choose any folder in the team

But now, it says that my License requestfailed for feature whenever I try to open Parametric. To my understanding this doesn't meanthat my license has expired, but that it couldn't connect to PTC online to retrieve it.Could anyone give a suggestion about what to do from this point?

Hey guys, I downloaded the Creo 3.0 as a university student for free for my 64bit processor. After installing, I was unable to open any of the applications because the execution files simply were not there. I reinstalled multiple times, the common files were installed, nothing seemed to go wrong during the process, but when I tried to open any of the applications a window popped up saying the files were not found. Please help.

Hallo!
