Are PTC Cloud services available to K12 FTC teams? (PTC Cloud Services | PTC)

I have a selection of Sensors for a User to choose. The User can create a grouping of whatever order of sensors, called a 'Scene'. These Scenes share the same SceneTemplate and the property that stores the Sensors they chose is an InfoTable, called "DeviceList".Goal: What I wanted to do was let a User choose one of their created Scenes, and use a Button to call a service that allows that Scene's Sensors "OnOff" property to be set to On, subsequently having non-included sensors turned Off. I'm stuck on figuring out the best way to implement that. I assume I would have to create my own service.The service I will need to make must access all implemented things of my SensorTemplate and also access the DeviceList of the User-selected Scene, and then access the properties of the Sensors, comparing which Sensors of SensorTemplate are and aren't inside DeviceList so their property can be correctly set On or Off.I'm guessing it should be a service for my SensorTemplate and it wouldn't necessari

I have 4 Things representing different sensors that share the same Template. I want a User to be able to select different 'Scenes' which are just different groupings of these sensors (1&2&3 or 1&3&4 etc.).The problem is, I don't know how to represent this or if there even would be a good way to do so. I was assuming I would use Lists to show the different Scenes (not to select anything, just to see the groupings). I know how to fill a list with Things based on a Template that they share, but can't find or think of a way to show the Things of a Template while omitting one or two.Is something like this possible? Is there a way to do this with/without the Template?

Hi,We are using cloud instance and working on Thingworx 6.0.We tried to configure the tutorial for Android App connectivity. We are facing challenges in connecting android phone.We have given IP address of WiFi LAN and also changed RES settings.But still we are not able to connect to Thingworx instance. We need help in understanding following:1. How do I know instance name for thingworx cloud instance?2. How can I find out IP address for Thingworx cloud instance?3. In Android App given in the tutorial, we are getting error as "No data is sent to TWX" initially and then we get connection error message.Please help us resolve the issues.Thanks in anticipationRegardsEmaestro

Hi all-I have been happily using PTC Creo, Student Edition for a little over 9 months so far, and today it simply would not start up.  Executing the program (both as an admin and a user) created no process, and no splash screen or program appeared.  Following the advice from the FAQ, I attempted to disable hardware acceleration, something that is to be noted both exceedingly aggravating and next to impossible on Windows 10.  No results were yielded.  Restarting my machine did not have any effect.  I am running an NVIDIA graphics card (specifically a GTX 270).  Switching the program to internal graphics has no effect on the problem.Thank you so very much, chaps,Will

Hello, I am a student who has filled out all of the pro-e student questionnaire, downloaded appropriated files, and gone halfway through the set-up. To the point where it says that I am supposed to have a license. I read that it would be on the PTC website until 'My licenses' or whatever, and when I clicked on that and then pro-e... it stated that my access was denied. After seriously looking everywhere and being exhausted of these vague licensing explanations and an overwhelming feeling that I am EXPECTED to know exactly how to go about this... I'm turning to the forum in hopes that I'm just overlooking something and that they haven't given me a 'free' student version that I will ultimately have to pay for anyway.   Thank you for your time

Hot Wired Robotics #7013 Res-Q robot "Captain Hook". We did an incredible amount of concept design using the field elements to figure out the angles for the debris dump and the hang in PTC this year.

I am using creo parametric student edition and i am having trouble in converting my sketch file to .dwg file

Just started learning how to create animations in CREO 3.0, this is my first attempt.  As you can see I cannot get the chain drive to animate. Anyone with ideas on how I might achieve this would be useful.

Hello, I recently installed the MQTT extension from the marketplace in the academic instance, but I am unable to use it.The setup instructions in this thread MQTT support in ThingWorx are great, but my extension is not able to connect to the test.mosquitto.org server. (and not to my own mosquitto server as well)In the application log the following error appears: Unable to connect to MQTT in [MQTTThing] : MqttExceptionWhat does "MqttException" mean?Is it possible that the port 1883 is blocked in the instance? I tried with different other ports (80, 8080, 25), but none of them worked - is there a port that could be working? (i can adjust it on my mosquitto server) Thank you very much,Markus

I use to retructure all parts as per the manufacturing supply condition of a big assembly.I want to choose selective part as per my BOM by "Move to a new sub Assy" but many parts donot convert in sub assy as they are having constraints.

I am trying to incorporate a function on my mashup where a user could see a drop-down list of the different things "sensors" that they could select to be in their mashup. The sensors have all been designed into there individual things with there individual properties. I was looking into using a list widget but I seem to be having problems since I can't bind and store all the different Things "sensors" that I have created to the list. Is there a better widget I could be using to preform these actions? Thank you.

Hello, I'm having a issue with something that I want to display in ThingWorx. The concept of my project is that we are using Insteon Products, such as motion sensors, door sensors, smoke sensors, etc. connected to an Insteon Hub. We are then using a RESTful API to communicate to the Hub to get that data to our Java SDK. We want the Java SDK to then push that data to ThingWorx for display. My question is can we pull data to ThingWorx instead of Pushing data. I want to know what sensors we have available, and then store those sensors in a list, so a consumer can choose from what sensors they have active in the home. This will all be done through a mashup, the end  consumer will not have full access to the whole ThingWorx application. I am trying to avoid hard-coding sensors into the mashup. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Ptc creo 2.0 student version wont work on windows 10 as the website will only let me download M130 and not M190 or M200. Any suggestions?

HelloI just updated my windows to windows 10. Network Server Licensed Version of Creo for our school - Where to download?

​I am doing project on Intel Galileo and using C SDK. I am trying to do weather app. But i am unable to send my data to cloud . I try to manage binding but it gives error as "Error browsing properties. Be sure the remote device/server is connected and configured properly".I am using TWX agent and i dont know is it working or not ? Posting photos of serial monitor .
