1. I can't install and run the PC EMS demo example from developer zone. Apparently something was done, because I reached the maxim (5) instances. When completing Part 4 of the tutorial, I open the settings.xml file to enter the Raspberry Pi username and password and instead of displaying what the tutorial says should be in the file, the file contains something totally different. We are trying to set up our alert features for our door sensor by changing the value of IsTriggered, which is a property of the Thing from a Thing Shape. We are writing the subscription through the extension Twilio has given us. We are doing a few edits in that script and it works, every time we run we do get the text message from the Twilio account but  it seems to lock up the Thing that we Trigger that alert on within Thingworx. The Thing will not open, show properties, and in return locks up most of our system. After coming back from the Easter Holidays no one can access Creo as it can’t find the license server after logging in to the FlexNet software I can see that the ptc_d Status is “Down” tried to start it but it never starts.Any ideas how I fix this would be much appreciatedThanksDan

In Creo2 I had embedded the school logo and used rendered output to make working and presentation drawings. I can not do this  in Creo3 anyone got any pointers?The attached file had to be exported as a  pdf and the  bitmap images added in a  3rd party programme.

I am working on galileo gen board 2, and doing a project of weather project. The properties are not getting connected to PTC. I am having a issue on the TWC_Agent, while manually running TWC_Agent, it is showing some errors as "Error trying to connect" & "invalid 'connection' header" and "websocket connection failed". If someone has came across these errors kindly share solution

This is a Toy helicopter, modelled accurately.  On a fine resolution 3D printer, I imagine that it would work.   All the parts are in the zip file.  Grabbing the pull string will move the prop.... given time, I am sure I can make it fly.... something that you may want to challenge students with ;{)

I'm working through Exercise 5 "Assembling Systems" in the "How to Model Almost Anything" resource.  On page 30 you are instructed to open the Motor_mechanism.asm.  That subsystem is not present in the Car directory and I can't find it anywhere.   Gary Lindner

Hello! I'm trying to model working drawer slides for the lift on our robot.  I've downloaded this part: McMaster-Carr.  Unfortunately, after I import it it doesn't move at all.  It appears to be a static assembly and I don't know how to add constraints to that.  I've also tried deleting different segments of it so that I have separate parts, and then re-assembling them with slider constraints, but they still don't move.  I was wondering if anyone had any insight into this?  Thank you so much!

I have a selection of Sensors for a User to choose. The User can create a grouping of whatever order of sensors, called a 'Scene'. These Scenes share the same SceneTemplate and the property that stores the Sensors they chose is an InfoTable, called "DeviceList".Goal: What I wanted to do was let a User choose one of their created Scenes, and use a Button to call a service that allows that Scene's Sensors "OnOff" property to be set to On, subsequently having non-included sensors turned Off. I'm stuck on figuring out the best way to implement that. I assume I would have to create my own service.The service I will need to make must access all implemented things of my SensorTemplate and also access the DeviceList of the User-selected Scene, and then access the properties of the Sensors, comparing which Sensors of SensorTemplate are and aren't inside DeviceList so their property can be correctly set On or Off.I'm guessing it should be a service for my SensorTemplate and it wouldn't necessari

I have 4 Things representing different sensors that share the same Template. I want a User to be able to select different 'Scenes' which are just different groupings of these sensors (1&2&3 or 1&3&4 etc.).The problem is, I don't know how to represent this or if there even would be a good way to do so. I was assuming I would use Lists to show the different Scenes (not to select anything, just to see the groupings). I know how to fill a list with Things based on a Template that they share, but can't find or think of a way to show the Things of a Template while omitting one or two.Is something like this possible? Is there a way to do this with/without the Template?

Hi,We are using cloud instance and working on Thingworx 6.0.We tried to configure the tutorial for Android App connectivity. We are facing challenges in connecting android phone.We have given IP address of WiFi LAN and also changed RES settings.But still we are not able to connect to Thingworx instance. We need help in understanding following:1. How do I know instance name for thingworx cloud instance?2. How can I find out IP address for Thingworx cloud instance?3. Hi all-I have been happily using PTC Creo, Student Edition for a little over 9 months so far, and today it simply would not start up.  Executing the program (both as an admin and a user) created no process, and no splash screen or program appeared.  Following the advice from the FAQ, I attempted to disable hardware acceleration, something that is to be noted both exceedingly aggravating and next to impossible on Windows 10.  No results were yielded.  Restarting my machine did not have any effect.  I am running an NVIDIA graphics card (specifically a GTX 270).  Switching the program to internal graphics has no effect on the problem.Thank you so very much, chaps,Will

Hello, I am a student who has filled out all of the pro-e student questionnaire, downloaded appropriated files, and gone halfway through the set-up. To the point where it says that I am supposed to have a license. I read that it would be on the PTC website until 'My licenses' or whatever, and when I clicked on that and then pro-e... it stated that my access was denied. After seriously looking everywhere and being exhausted of these vague licensing explanations and an overwhelming feeling that I am EXPECTED to know exactly how to go about this... I'm turning to the forum in hopes that I'm just overlooking something and that they haven't given me a 'free' student version that I will ultimately have to pay for anyway.   Thank you for your time
