Hi, How do i turn on full elements view on Tm and data element? I want to be able to see used attributes on these element just like <p>, <li> etc./Erik

We have tried to insert the code with tags codeblock and codeph with highlights like it shown in any code editor according with used language, but it looks like plain text in PDF. What should we do to highlight the code in PDF file? Also we couldn't insert the code like a file with coderef tag, the PDF doc shows nothing, and Editor just doesn't find the file with code, but it's there.

I'm helping a co-worker with a weird problem. When she tries to open an xml file, she gets a popup that says "A required resource was unavailable". The only option is to click OK. You need to click that three times, then the file opens but it looks bad. You can't see the elements. The attached screen shot is from a table but the whole think doesn't look right. The odd thing is, I (and others) can open that file without incident. It doesn't seem to be the .wcf file as I replaced hers with mine but that didn't help. I've looked at a bunch of settings and views but can't make hers correct, and I also can't get my good display to look like hers. Any ideas?

HiI spent some time to figure out what is this as I am new to this product. Will "PTC Text Creation A&D Package" be enough? The installation guide shows steps to link to an Oracle database. So is this a full package containing Arbortext Editor and CSDB capabilities?Or need  additionally PTC Windchill Service Information Manager - S1000D Module also to be deployed?Thanks for your valuable replies. - Ravi

Helloconsidering latest version as per today of Arbotext and Solidworks, I am trying to figure out if Arbotext support Solidworks and if so, is the integration as good as with Creo?Is there any posts, tutorial etc.. that I have not managed to find that discuss the pros and cons and the differences.Thanks

Has anyone used this outside of the internal usage?  I know it's used in the XUI DCF, wondering if anyone has used it outside of that context.Looking to work up an element that points to graphic media objects stored on a cloud, wondering if setting the attribute for this URI up in the DCF will enable loading of the object into the Editor window?

I downloaded 38784STD-BV9a.dtd from AF-TMSS, then noticed that when I open new and select the .dtd (I am using the latest Arbortext) a message appears "No Stylesheet Found". I know the style sheet extensions are .fos, .dcf, .style, and .xsl but none with those extensions exist in the unzipped files from AF-TMSS. Doesn't the DTD have the fos within or do you definitely have to add a stylesheet?

I like to use macros to automate certain things. When I create a macro, it shows in the list of macros and works fine. However, when I close Arbortext and re-open it later, the list of macros is blank. I viewed the user.mcf file where the macros are saved and found that they are indeed there. But no matter what I do, I can't get them to show in the macros list in Arbortext. I've tried re-installing Arbortext several (i.e., eight) times, but it hasn't solved the problem. Any suggestions?

I have XML Metadata file which already complied and working fine. I want to insert additional new ELement tag for ex: Sub Title tag with styles on existing xml document.Is there any way to insert new element tag inside XML metadata document without modifying DTD/Stylesheet?

editor.exe couldn't open the default font 'Monoser' in the character set

I have a 38784 DTD. The major content section of this DTD is the chapter element. How can I have writers working on different chapters at the same time?Surely there must be a way to chunk it up into different files, be able to parse them individually, and somehow pull them altogether at publication time. I am just not getting it.Mike

In the previous version, I was able to search for tags with specific IDs. For example, I could search for an xref with xrefid "ABC".  In 5.4 I can't find that feature anymore.  It use to be under the Find tool in the menu bar.  Did this feature get removed, or do I have to configure a certain setting or preference?

Hi All, I am new to XML development (the boss thru me in the deep end this is my first document)   I am  stuck trying to create a troubleshooting procedure (tswp)  type "Method A" IAW 40051-2b. Nothing I do seems to produce the output that the contract requires.  I have attached a PDF shown what tags I am using ( first two pages) followed by the generated "output"  and the final page is what the content should be.I am unsure why the procedure steps re- start again every time a new block starts.  According to the reference manual the steps should be shown as 1 thru to XX  without restarting again.Any guidance / help from you gurus will be greatly appreciated.XML DTD and and XSL's  are US Gov (Army) provided  Version 5  and MIL- STD  is 40051-2B   (That's what the contract calls for)   I know there are issues with this version of  styles sheets etc. Cheers

Hello! For several months now I have been working with IsoDraw. Sometimes I have the situation that I have to delete a line for a drawing and for example, behind the line, there is an ellipse. The contour of the ellipse is then not closed. Is there a command to close the contour, or two lines to hand its course to Combine?Sorry, for my bad English and thank you for your help!

Hi,A few months ago, I used ISODRAW 7.0 and i could move the elements of my draw without using the "move" tool (Ctrl + M) .... doing that with the arrows of the keyboard only (or maybe Ctrl + arrows / Do not remember exactly) ...But today, impossible to move the elements like that!I searched on internet and on parameters but found nothing!Do somebody have a solutions to activate the possibility to move elements just with the arrows. (Without using the tool "move")?Thanks

Ever since my version of 7.0 was updated to M050 version I have had an issue with my graphics displaying properly. When I create a PDF it retains the black bars on the callouts.
