Since upgrading from AE 6.0 to AE 6.1 we have noticed that when cleaning the Windchill workspace the objects are not removed from the AE 6.1 browser workspace. The objects remain listed under the workspace name. We have to go into the browser and select "clean workspace". It appears that the both Windchill workspaces and AE 6.1 are no longer in sync. If The users do not clean the AE 6.1 workspace, they receive the following message when they try to check out an object. "The currently active workspace contains an out of date version of the document that you requested to open. Do you want to open the out-of-date version in the workspace?" Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution?

Another configuration question for day.Many of the table properties insert PIs. Is there a way to redirect these to populate attribute values instead?Thanks!

Hey folks,I have a question about sorting attribute values.In the Modify Attributes dialog, the values in dropdowns are sorted alphabtically by default. Is there a setting to turn the sorting to manual?Many thanks,-Jeff

Does anyone have suggestions on the best training for Arbortext Styler for two individuals in our organization?

I have a doc made up of chapters that require individual LOEPs and Total Page count on the first page of each chapter. For some reason, these are only working correctly when the chapter has only recto and verso pages. If a chapter has any blank page in it, the total page count does not increment correctly and the blank pages don't show up in the leop. EXCEPT for the last chapter in the doc which works correctly. That's got to be a clue to what I'm doing wrong!but I just can't find the error.I've got two page total counters:<counter initial="0" enumid="totalpagect"> <counter initial="0" enumid="chpagect">The totalpagect for the doc is always correct and the frontmatter leop is working fine. We want to include the table of contents as an item in the bookmarks of a pdf file.Since we do not want the TOC to appear in the TOC itself, we're trying this:Our approach is to have 2 TOCs in styler. The first generates the actual TOC in the pdf, just as usual. The second one is only there to create the bookmarks in the pdf. Both TOCs are almost identical regarding the content, with the second one including an additional item: the TOC.But how to include the TOC (or any other dynamically generated content, that's not a title) into the TOC? We're working with DITA 1.2.

We noticed after installing AE 6.1 that the users are experiencing slow processing speed. Specifically when accessing CTRL + D (attributes window). To resolve this issue we remove the .wcf file from the folder C:\users\username\AppData\Roaming\PTC\Abortext Editor. Close AE 6.1 and then relaunch. My question is...does anyone have an explanation as to why this happens? Or, is there a way to resolve it other than what we have done above?

Their FOSI has custom pdf bookmark tagging in it (<atidmd: etc.,=" etc.).=" everything=" else=" seems=" to=" work=" fine=" except=" for=" these=" custom=" bookmarks=" when=" i=" compose=" the=" book.=" i=" am=" using=" print=" composer=" and=" file--="> Compose--> Pdf File. I've tried with distiller="on" and "off".I read in an older thread a comment from someone saying that custom bookmarks are not possible using Print Composer, but only when using PE environment.Is this true?Thanks,KM

Hi,I'm trying to troubleshoot some index issues and would like to be able to view the final index markup in the edit window.I followed the instructions in the Help file for this and I can see the preliminary index markup, but the _final pseudo tags contain no content. Hi Team,We are developing a WPF application, where in using ISOViewer for rendering Images. We get .cgm images from service and ISOVIEWER helps in rendering the same.However, when we try to print images using the print function , it always send it to default or opens up a pop up for selecting printer. I want to send my image to the selected printer by manually setting the printer in code itself i.e without opening the pop-up for printer selection. Is there any way to do this ?

I'm working with DITA, using conrefs with the conkeyref attribute set to manage variable content (for example, switching product names on output generation). However, to prevent issues because of typos, I would like the conkeyref attribute to be filled in automatically from the source file. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

I made a manual as my generic, now I want to make another manual using the same files. I made all my files through the dita map of the first manual. Now that I want to make the second one, i can't do a save as, there is no link, therefore I started another dita map. Now I don't see the files that are saved on my hard drive to pick from I only see the dita map created, if I try to insert file they are directly linked to the previous dita map in the filename. How do I make a second manual from those files if I can't pick from them?St

Hi,Getting an error showing "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid." (screenshot attached) while initializing installation just after running setup.exe from Arbortext Editor dump and can't proceed thereafter. How to resolve this issue?Please help...

I am trying to find out more about the APP desktop software. Is this the software that is used post-process for formatting clean-up (line breaks, hypenation), therefore not included with the Styler UI?
