Ok guys, this one is just wierd.I am using Arbortext 5.4M70. I am using DTD's and FOSI. I have a document that will not display the opening Subpara1 element tag. To be more precise it won't show any open tags until you select an element, any element and do a generate update. Then all tags appear as expected, Except the Subpara1 tag.On my preferences, I have full tags and keep tags balanced selected. Any ideas?Sindy

Hi All, Can anyone help me to solve the below questions as I am very new to Isodraw and Macro language. Thanks in advance. Scope: I have hell of .iges files and need to explode the assemblies,illustrate them in Isodraw 7.3 or Isodraw 6.1 and save them as as .cgm and .JPEG formats. Question 1: Whn I open .iges files(Created from catiaV5 i guess) and select single bolt for example, all the bolts in the model are getting selected and getting exploded at a time but i need to select individually as they are grouped in original catia file.Is there any option to select them individually and then explode.Please help. Question 2: When i record a macro, where these macros will get stored in Computer for Windows XP Service pack2. Can anyone send me macro to export all the .iso files to .cgm and .jpeg at a time.Please send me macro for Isodraw 6.1 or Isodraw 7.3 or Isodraw 7.0 Cad process. And also how to edit the macro if in need to change anything.

Hello everyone!!Today I'm facing a new problem, I was trying to open a document in Arbortext and it shows me an Alert/Error message, it says: "editor.exe: segment violation(signal 11)" Then, when I click the OK button, Arbortext closes. Hello, I have a large group of version 3 CGM files that need to be converted to version 4 CGM. I have drawing size settings in Isodraw that need to be maintained in the conversion. Does anyone have a batch process or macro that will run in Isodraw to accomplish this? I’m not versed in creating macros or writing code. Thanks in advance for any help!

I am trying to make a connection to Arbortext Content Manager from Arbortext Editor. I have modified the siteprefs.xml and the userprefs.xml to reflect my server url and name and have put them both in the adapters folder in Arbortext Editor. When Editor is started and you go to click on Object to connect a PTC server we get an error that says java.lang.NullPointerException which does not tell me anything. Can someone please give some advice or some help please?

Hello everybody!! 😃Ok, so I've been finding too many discussions talking about XPath and I feel pretty bad because I can not have a clear idea of what XPath is? 😞 I investigated in the Arbortext Command Language Reference but I only found examples and I would like to understand how and where is recommended to use XPath, please if anybody is kind of expert in this area I would really appreciate a lot your help! I'm feel in the necessity to learn about XPath but I don't have any idea from where I can start. Im trying to link my Warnings to a specific section of a DM, (Procedural DM Issue 4.0) But I cant find the target field?? Does anyone know where the "Ref DM Target" attribute field is? Or basically how do you designate a "target" (link to a particular place or ID in a Data Module) in Arbortext Editor (Issue 4.0)??? In previous versions (3 and below) you could hit CTRL D/modify attributes and the Target attribute is available in that window.....But that is no longer the case. I can't find it in Issue 4.0?? I think they may have changed the tag name, (like everything else) but if so it is not obvious and Im not sure where it is...Can anyone help

I am using IsoDraw 7.2Is it possible to change the preferences for Object info ID?

My Object info ID needs to be IREF_10 for multiple callouts due to a customer requirement, but IsoDraw gives me a message when I try to change the ID's to be the same...Does anyone know how to edit the rules for Object Info ID?Screenshot of message:

I am using IsoDraw 7.2My customer requires the callouts to be the same ID and my IsoDraw gives me a popup warning saying:"The ID is not unique Please change the ID."I have several items such as washers that are the same part number and the ID's are labled 5a, 5b, 5c, 10a, 10b, 10c, etc...If I try to change 5a to 5 and 5b to 5 then I get the popup warning.Is there a way to change several callouts and have the callouts have the same ID?

Hiya,I am attempting to install 6.0 m090 alongside an existing 6.0 m010installation but the installer is only providing me the option to upgradethe m010 installation. How do I force a full installation?I read the install.pdf provided w/m090 (which was apparently updated lastfor m040) but it didn't have anything specific about doing this other thanit mentioned both full and upgrade installation possibilities.What am I missing?-- Paul Nagai

So, my management has been reading about Acrobat XI and how you can create interactive PDFs (embed Flash Player compatible videos, audio, buttons, and forms). Simple question: Is any of that possible with PE (any version)? Sounds like it's easy to add a video (for example) to an existing PDF manually with Acrobat XI, but we'd want it to happen within PE (or some FO processor, for that matter). Some time ago there was some discussion about using 64-bit Arbortext Editor (and Print Composer). Does anyone know if there are any "official" white papers or anything like that from PTC about the supposed advantages of the 64-bit Editor over the 32-bit version? Things such as claims about the ability to handle and/or publish larger files, function more quickly, etc. etc.?I am not really looking for testimonies about anecdotal, subjective, perceived differences, but rather words from PTC or other companies on their website(s) or published elsewhere. Any actual scientifically measured differences by anyone would be good, also.Thanks.

I want to manually add a column into the Entity Catalog table under Entity Manager. A column that I want to add existed in the TBLENTITIES table. I'm using Arbortext CSDB for S1000D.Any idea? Your help is greatly appreciated.Thanks
