Iam creating users, usergroups, organisation in runtime. But how to attach usergroup to one organisation using API or service ?   

I am a Developer, to improve my skill and practice how can I get access to Thingworx server? The Demo and Hosted servers have been removed by PTC.

Dear Sir/Madam,1.I'm new to thingworx. Would like to an extension which will trigger an event when it detects a change in SQL server - table (similar to the SQL trigger). I guess i would like to program the extension using Thingworx .NET SDK.2.I've searched Thingworx documentation w/o much success.3.I've several questions.(a).Is my solution valid? If not, any alternatives?(b).Where can i download the Thingworx .NET SDK s/w & documentation?(c).Is Thingworx .NET SDK supported on Thingworx 9.x?Thanks 

where is generateGUID(); service present in thingworx. Will this provide unique id for every service execution ? So we dont need to verift this ID again ?

Hello folks,i have a question to the list shuttle widget of thingworx 9.1.0. (Help Center) Is it possible to add an item of the "source list" multiple times to the "target list"?Currently the item from "source list" disappears as soon as I add it to the "target list". I attached a screenshot with an example what i want.  Best regardsMarc

Hi Marek,    I am doing something similar to retrieve documents. Everything runs without errors but I don't know how actually get the document. I just get some weird paths in the output window but don't know where to find the document. Any suggestions?

Anyone have success setting up row based state definitions using a grid configuration?  Below is a code snippet of my configuration. I have checked that the column "fieldName" matches the field name below, values in my table the states "value", and that I am able to apply general styling to the grid. Hello, I have been trying to upgrading my Thingworx foundation installation to V9.3.1 Windows / MSSQL and each time I attempt to run the upgrade, the apache thingworx foundation service gets removed as a windows service and gives me a warning of "ThingWorx Foundation is not running. Please start ThingWorx Foundation and try again". My instance is now stuck and I cannot get the platform up with previous version.   Following the upgrade, I have both Java 8 and java 11 installed following the prerequisites shown via the link below. https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Installation/UsingTheInstallerToUpgradeThingWorxFoundation.html#wwID0EE25T   However; when I run java -version in cmd prompt, it states Java 11 which I believe should not be the case until the updated version of thingworx is installed.   Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Developers,   I'm having a requirement where i need to show bar chart for current year data and previous year data as shown below.   In the first chart I need to show stacked bar for the current year and for the previous year side by side to show the comparison. I'm not able to figure out how to achieve this.   I'm able to get the current year stacked bar with a data shape like below Location (x axis) Type 1 Type 2 Type 3 Type 4 Now what would be the ideal data shape or approach to show the stacked bar for both the years.   Regards, Saran

Hi,I have  a mashup in which i am using text field widget. Unfortunately when I click on it a border appears around it. I think this is due to "ptcs-focus-overlay--border-width: 2px;". "ptcs-focus-overlay {visibility: hidden;}"Above custom CSS is not working on Thingworx 9.3 version. I using Thingworx 9.3 version. Hi,As per the connection server documentation, it's asking to set few environment variables from command prompt and run the connection server. This is working but when I close the cmd window, server also getting stopped. How to keep these variables in normal environment variables and keep the server up and running all the time? Also, what are the options available to start/stop the connection server? I am using version 9.2 of connection server.

I'm using ThingWorx 9.3 and the Mashup Composer wants to migrate my now-legacy Grid Advanced widgets to the new Grid (ptcsgrid).  Overall, the new Grid widget is really great, lots of nice features.  But, with multi-selection enabled it adds checkboxes on the left and a "Rows Selected" label at the top.  I have to click the checkbox on each row to select that row, can't just click anywhere on the row (but the ability to select text in cells and copy is really nice).  And, I can't use the shift key to select a range of rows with the checkboxes. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off the checkboxes and "Rows Selected" label at the top of the ptcsgrid and allow selecting a range of rows? I have an open PTC case about this and so far have only gotten a recommendation to try this CSS to turn off the "Rows Selected" label, but it doesn't do anything for me. .widget-ptcsgrid::part(selected-rows-label) {    display:none}

Hi Folks, I'm exploring options for Analytics with Thingworx which should be ready to use(plug n play) or have minimum integration efforts.Since it is going to be Analytics on top of cloud data sources, I am not sure if we have any OOTB PTC services or tools like Azure and AWS analytics services.If I have to choose among Azure and AWS IoT analysis then which one would be better in terms of reporting, less customization, minimum configuration and support from the vendor?I would appreciate if you could share some references of the use cases/solutions delivered on the same already.

Hii, I made a collection widget with some datas and it has a button to delete data.When that button is clicked data is deleting but the mashup is not refreshing. The collection mashup is in a contained mashup when using to main mashup. How can we refresh the collection widget when the button is clicked??

I recently wanted to add a menu bar as a left panel to a project I've been working on and tried to follow the very well written instructions on the PTC support website: (https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx /platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Mashup_Builder/Widgets/MenuBarWidget.html). I was surprised when I checked and I can't find it in the Layout part of my mashup. Is it obsolete? Is there an alternative to use instead? The regular menu does not cover all needs in style and functionality... Any help?

I have to install an experience service and folled along the docs like 3 times and always getting the same error, when checking tomcat8.5.service status I really need help, i have no idea of what shoud i do next, and any idea how to setup experience service in general.
