How to embed Mashup in HTML iframe

Hi all,   I'm trying to embed Mashup in HTML iframe, but it throwing error while loading. ThingWorx platform 8.4.2 503 Service not found error

I am installing ThingWorx platform 8.4.2. After deploying Thingworx.war file, I am getting an error after launching the Composer. The error is "503 Service Unavailable". Apache tomcat version : 8.5.28 PostgreSQL version : 9.4.26 Thingworx version : 8.4.2 OS : Windows 10

Hi Everyone,   After upgrading our development server to TW 8.5 the log files now pile up in the ThingworxStorage\logs folder instead of being sent to the archives folder every night ThingworxStorage\logs\archives. Is there a setting in v8.5 that I have to enable? v8.5    v8.4

QueryPropertyHistory Service does not show values

Hi,   Via MQTT the property "Speedometer" gets every 10 seconds a new value which is in json format. All the other properties have a subsciption to the "Speedometer" property and so they change their values every 10 seconds too.   When I run the Service QueryPropertyHistory no values are displayed. The Thing and its template have a Value Stream and all the properties are persistent and logged.

Persist Inputs - Service Execution tab

Hi Folks, There are new Service editing capabilities have been introduced in Thingworx. One of them is under Service Execution tab to save Inputs as shown in the below screenshot. But it saves input for the current editing session only. Is there a way to persist the inputs for future use?         Thanks!

Incorrect work of 'const' inside while loop

Hello!   May I ask why constants work in ThingWorx differently than in normal JavaScript? Example:      let i = 5; while (i > 0) { const a = i; logger.warn(a); i--; }     In log we will see:     5 5 5 5 5     In any normal JS code runner such as Codepen we will see in console log:     5 4 3 2 1     As far as I understand, such a script execution violates the basic ideology of constants in JavaScript - 'const' is initialized and exists only in the block (loop) scope.   The same behaviour in 'for' loop. 'const' works correctly only in functions like 'map', 'forEach'.   Thank you in advance.

Mashup Resolution on Mobile

Hello everyone,   I have created a Mashup that should be accessed via mobile. Unfortunately the resolution is too high, so the mashup looks something like this:   Now I know one could use static Mashups and so on, but what I found out is, that if you display the very same mashup in the VuforiaView App in a Webview it looks like this:     Which is exactly the way I want it to be. So there must be a mechanism which displays the mashup in a way the View App does it.   Does anybody know what to do in order to display the mashup the same way in a browser like e.g chrome (on mobile!)?   In our case it is not suitable to use the ViewApp...Any help is appreciated very much.   Best Regards, Dominik

Where to find the expression display name ?

The expression and validation become  a setting in the Function panel since 8.4.  However the debug info only display the display name of expression/validation , like UIexpression-59  instead of the name I created for expression/validation.    Where can I find the display name ?    Regards, Sean

Thingworx Edge microservice can't run

I have "Freewave ZumIQ". It's edge computer base on Arm ( look like Raspberry PI ). I follow the "Connect Raspberry Pi to ThingWorx" link : https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-raspberry-pi-quickstart/launch-ems   But, It can't run sudo ./wsems   It report link the picture.                   I think , The "Freewave" missing some package or lib. Please tell me, What the package do it need ?   Thank you.

Scrolling in collection widget not possible in with touch!

Hi all,    In my mashup I'm using the collection widget as a sort of table. There are allot of items in my collection, so in my chrome browser I can scroll through the items like you would in a table.    On mobile I tried to open the mashup, and everything loads perfectly, but I can't scroll down. We have tested it on multiple Android devices in the Chrome browser, but it won't work. We have also tried the firefox mobile browser, there scrolling is possible, but the clickevent on a line is not possible + Firefox runs the mashup super slow.    I made the mashup in ThingWorx 8.4. The devices from the customer are all Android, so it really should work on an Android phone.    Does anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this?   Kind regards,    Jasper

Connection to Git repository using on-prem GitLab fails due to SSL error

We are trying to use the Git Backup extension 2.0.2 on ThingWorx 8.4.1 with GitLab community edition hosted on-premises. ignored_license_capablity_response error in Licensing Configuration in Thingworx 8.5.3

Hi, I have installed Thingworx 8.5.3 version recently. Yeah, it is fresh installation. After trial expiration brought paid license and trying to configure. Every time it is showing ignored_license_capablity_response.bin. I followed all the suggested by PTC but still the issue is same.    Please find attached NavigateLicensingConfigurator_install.log,  Application.log   Any suggestion that would help to resolve this issue ?

Thing Not Running - Thing is unable to start

We generated a thing based on a thing template inside the PTC Thingworx Composer.The Thing Template we used was important from another thingworx instance whitch was running version 8.4. The Thingworx instance which giving us the error message is version 8.5. I have designed screen in 1680 *1050 resolution.It is looking perfect only in that resolution.Below is the attached application screenshots in different resolutions.No matter how much ever I try avoiding panels still i had to use them to meet design requirements.How do I design a fully responsive UI with no issues?

ThingWorx custom extension service parameter of type InfoTable

Hello,   Currently I´m facing some issues writing a custom Java Extension that has a service with a parameter of type InfoTable. The Service parameter is annotated like this: @ThingworxServiceParameter(name = "param", description = "", baseType = "INFOTABLE", aspects = {"isEntityDataShape:true", "dataShape:TestDataShape" }) InfoTable param   Here the baseType is set to "InfoTable" and in the aspects array a DataShape is pointed that exists on the ThingWorx platform.   When I try to execute the Service interactively and want to enter the parameter values I get the following message:  I am using ThingWorx 8.4.5-b102 and I am pretty sure this has been working with ThingWorx 7.4.   Has anybody any adivce or can reproduce this issue?   Thanks, Keijo

Responsive font to value display

Hi all,   I am working with two monitors. One monitor is 1920 x 1080 and the other is 1366 x 768.   I have created a mashup type responsive and that mashup I am using widget called value display (to show some informations).   I was able to realized that the value display is responsive widget but the font that is into the value is not.   Followed below the images that can help to undertand the problem:   1920 x 1080                                                                   1366 x 768   My question is: There is any way to do the value display's font be responsive too?   Regards, Leonardo.
