I have this service getprocessdata which returns START_DATE and COMPLT_DATE.I am calling this service inside of another service that generates report where I need to display start and complete date coming from my getprocessdata service, but the date time  getting returned is in utc.I also created a demoservice where I called the same service getprocessdata and printed the start_date keeping the output set to dateTime, the output was as expected.why is such conversion taking place.Things I have tried:converting the obj.entry storing start and end date to date time, long but still getting date time in utc used var start_date = new Date(table_start_Date); still getting in utcCould someone please help me out on how to prevent this date time conversion.Thank you in advance.

With TWX 9.1.5, I've used Grid advanced widget to present infotables in mashups. If I wanted user to allow change sorting criteria, I ticked "enable sorting" in widget setting, and had buttons for operator to change sorting criteria (as far as I remember, it still needed to define service to make sorting).With TWX 9.5, I use Grid - and have no setting called "Enable sorting". Was the name changed? Is this setting still available? If not - how can make interface for operator to allow him to set which column should be treated as sorting criteria, and also change it ascending/descending?

Hi Everyone, I came across the doubt like I have three services for eg. serA, serB and serC. serA is used as input parameter (which is taking input from text widget and dropdown widget)  for both the service B and C now the bindings which I have done is when serA  invoke completed then it triggers both the serB AND servC and the serB all data goes to grid data and serC all data goes to bar chart (which is basically count of grid data column)now how I want is the service  C should trigger after serB invoke is completed (means data in grid loaded then chart dislpy) or both should occur at the same time   so suggest me proper bindings The problem which I am getting is sometime grid data loaded and bar chart isn't loaded while some time bar chart is loaded and grid is not so my requirement is either both should load same time or bar graph should display after grid data is loaded.Regards,Lav

I have a system where I want to get the timezoneoffset in thingworx. No matter what browser time I have it is always converted to UTC (which is fine). However i want to know what the timezoneoffset was, and if i used this java method it always return 0 as it was internally converted by thingworx.

Hello, I'm unable to connect to Thingworx web application. I'm having 503 error :     Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. I have 2 dropdowns one has parent equipments and second has child equipments.What I want to achieve is when I select parent equipment on one dropdown we should be able to view all child equipments on another dropdown PFA Issue I am facing is when I select parent equipment no child equipments are showing but when I select other parent equipment and then go back again I am able to see all child equipments of that specific parent equipment. I have a data table from where I am getting all the data. What I think issue is the second drop down is always showing data of previous parent equipment which I selected. I am using selected text change service is there any other way PFA

Hi, I'm struggling to get the default value from my edge csdk code serverDetails:I created a property when creating thing :   TW_PROPERTY("DefaultValueTest", "Description", TW_INTEGER); TW_ADD_NUMBER_ASPECT("DefaultValueTest", TW_ASPECT_DEFAULT_VALUE, 150); TW_ADD_NUMBER_ASPECT("DefaultValueTest", TW_ASPECT_ISLOGGED, TRUE);  I put as default value 150.When i try to fetch the value of my property in another service in the same c project:  int lDefaultValueTest = TW_GET_PROPERTY(THING_NAME, "DefaultValueTest").integer;  I always get zero as result !.I wonder why I am not having '150' since it's the default value  ??As a workaround, i set the property after the definition of the property  TW_SET_PROPERTY(thingName, "DefaultValueTest", TW_MAKE_INT(150));  The problem here is when, i set a new value somewhere in other service and I restart my program, it's always reset to 150 and cannot be updated Any idea how

This is Thingworx version 9.0.4 I have a service that is being refreshed every 10 seconds via an autorefresh widget. It returns an infotable of data. I am then binding this infotable into the collection widget. The refresh is successfully refreshing the service and getting the new data. I verified this in the networks tab. However, the collection within the UI is not updating. Weirdly, if I change the window screen, it then updates the UI to match the new data.  I have tried a few things. I tried creating an expression that generates a random number. I then bind the change event to the service call instead of the refresh widget. The refresh widget is now bound to the expression. I then bind the expression to a label. I can succeffcully show that the new random number is shown via the label when the refresh happens, the service (w/ new data) fires correctly, but the collection is not updating. If I refresh the screen it updates. If I adjust the screen size, it updates. Th

Hello,I'm new to ThingWorx, and my current version is 8.4. For the mail alert purpose, I imported the Mailserver Extension (V3.5.1). I tested sending emails from a Gmail account to an office mail, and it was working fine.However, I want to send mail from one office mail to another office mail.I entered my company's SMTP server name and port, which was provided by the IT department, but I am still getting the error message "Couldn't connect to host, port: xxxxx.xxxx.com, 25; timeout 30000."also i tested the SMTP Server with telnet cmd its returned 220, seems good. Mail Account User: I inserted the dedicated office email for the alert.Mail Account Password: I left it empty, and also tried with the actual password of the mail account.How can I solve this issue? Hi Everyone,I came across this doubt like I have a data which is populating in Grid now I filter the data based on column selected row with the help of data filter widget and saved that view in list widget now my ask is when I click on that view name then that particular view should reflect in Grid widget  I have a service called getViewField and which is having a result as selectedview in json format now how should bind it with the grid should I change the Json type or something else I directly bind it with query filter but that is not working so suggest me proper binding ThanksLav.

I can't deselect the selected label or node in the Tree Widget, I have tried almost everything, running the data source service again, setting the selectedLabel and SelectedValue to "", 0, undefined or null. I even used random ID and parentID fields, but seems like the tree widget or the service selected rows are storing the row index; Thingworx Version: 9.5.0

Hello,I have a mashup consisting of a drop down menu, a date picker, a collection widget that fetches two different mashups with line and bar charts, and finally a grid advanced widget that is populated with the same values that those charts show. When I select the first item from the drop down menu (first time I choose an item, not the first item in the list), or when I change the date, the values and the fields of the grid are populated correctly. However, when I change the item in the drop down after that first time, the configuration of the grid is lost. The field names of the grid stay the same as the previous selection and the values, although correct, are placed in the wrong columns. I've attached an example of this issue. I initially did not have a specific configuration string on the grid but even after creating one the error stays the same. What could be causing this issue? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I recently migrated a mashup using the "Mashup Migration" steps. The legacy advanced grid used a Custom CSS, but after the migration the styles from the CSS seem to no longer have any effect on the grid.  The grid header column require 3 different columns. -first 2 header columns are black -header columns 3-7 are blue-header columns 8-13 are grey Is there a way to have the Custom CSS recognized or perhaps Style Theme has an advanced feature?TIA

Hi folks,I have a problem with the vertical scrollbar on my grid widget (TWX version ThingWorx 9.3.8). I have placed two grids vertically on top of each other, where the columns and their sizes partially overlap. However, when the vertical scrollbar is displayed on a table, the columns shift and it is no longer visually appealing. The padding of the container (via Composer -> Layout) does not seem to have any effect on the grid. Is there a way to use a kind of dynamic padding so that the area is reserved for a scrollbar?  Best regardsMarc

Hi Everyone,I am Thingworx developer , I want to Expand All / Collapse All Results in TreeGridAdvanced, I try to use property "ExpandLoadedRows" which is bindable - so I bound a Checkbox to this value, but it didn't work for me. It worked only when I set this property checked by default which shows me only expanded rows. Please Help me how can I achieve !
