Is there a way to find all out of date cad files with a search?    

When I use croe, work with windchill use the local workpace, Almost every action need to wait seconds:like opend workspace : 14 secondsopen a part to a new window from a assembly : around 5 secondsreplace a part in assembly model :15 secods (after i click the confirm button).I check the  task manager， looked creo use the network for very step.Would anyone know the reason?Am I use wrong configuration ? how can I optimize it? Thanks in advance！

I have a local windchill installation on my laptop and have the below entry in hosts file192.xxx.0.xxx MYPCNAME localplm.com But when I connect to VPN and use the VPN's ipv4 value in the IP name, Im unable to start the windchill.My company policy doesnt allow access to majority sites like stackoverflow, ptc support without vpn. Now, each time if i need to cross check something, i need to go via vpn and then restart method server for local development. Is there a solution for this? Which IP should I be using in the hosts file while on vpn.   

Hello all, One of my co-workers saved some of his drawings to his "A workspace" in Windchill  and exited Creo. He has not checked in any of these parts to windchill. Then he switches workspaces and works on a few other projects in windchill and exits Creo.A few days later, he tries to retrieve drawings from his first project from "A workspace" but finds that a lot of the dimensions in his drawings are missing. He claims he saved the drawings to "A workspace" before he exited Creo. He has no duplicate drawings or copies of any of these drawings anywhere locally or in windchill either. Can anyone help us understand why this happens ?

Hi teamWe have created a subtype in the Type and Attribute Management Utility on our Dev server (a subtype of Problem Report with different fields). Now we would like to migrate it to the QA and eventually Prod server. I was hoping to see an Export/Import feature like we have for report templates, but this does not seem to exist.  Do I have to recreate it manually on the next server?thanks -- Rick

Hello, We are upgrading very soon from 11.1 >> 12.1.Currently attemptin g to use the approach stated in CS212589 to install and use (one at a time) both WWGM 12.1 and 11.1.Not yet working and CS seems to be wrong and not complete.Looking for input / advice / procedure from any one who has had success on this.Note: The alternative is to have to uninstall / reinstall in order to use.thanks in advance.

Reposting here as wellWe are in process of upgrading our Thingworx platform to 9.3.3 We are using integration-runtime-8.0.13-b1669 Integration runtime. We are seeing below api timed out issue intermittently.  We are actively working with PTC on this issue (C16735337) however, the issue is sporadic in nature so we are not able narrow down what is the issue here. The client processor thread is not receving 200 response back from Windchill on the web request intermittently. We have been very stable on our 8.x enviroments in production for last 5 years. I use the Windchill 12.0.2.5 and Oracle Database.  Our Database's Blobs tablespace is filling up quickly. Almost it is filling up 1GB per day. Before 2023, Blobs table isn't filled up like this.  How can I manage or reduce the amount of Blobs table space?

Hello! I would like to add some WTPart IBAs to the WTPart Where Used table. I have tried creating a new table builder and extending the WhereUsedTreeBuilder but no matter what I try, the table stays the same and the columns I added via the table config in code are not displayed.Is it even possible to extend this table or am I doing something wrong? Best regards

We currently do not have options and variants enabled. While we've come close with past products that had some flavors of options, this new one fits the classic model. The number of options are currently low but we've introduced paint color of the housing as a variation. The housing and other external components are 3-4 level below the top level end item in both the BOM and the CAD assembly. I understand that introducing options will potential impact many levels and possible involve restructuring the BOM. Is it worth introducing the added complexity to the system or can this new feature be contained to only the product lines that need it? At what point do you introduce management of options and its functionality to the system?

I need to define the latest versions of drw data as addresses in SAP. When the user clicks on this address, he should see the picture of his data in the last version. How can I get the current address of the data with the code?

Dear Team,We are using PTC Windchill WGM for Creo Cad data management since many years and it is working fine without any failure of opening both integrated application with one batch file.Since last 1.5 year we introduced Windchill WGM for our AutoDesk Inventor 2021 CAD application and other CAD Softwares.I am mostly using AutoDesk Inventor with Windchill WGM and facing a biggest and frequent issue.As we all know for working with both applications it is necessary to open Inventor 2021 and Windchill with integrated status where I can open the CAD files from both application and work on it. But when launching AutoDesk Inventor and Windchill with one batch file I am getting error “Unable to connect to Windchill Workgroup Manager. If more than one instance of the authoring application is running, the new one will run disconnected.” Please refer attached snap image for your reference.From above it is clear that there is another AutoDesk Inventor application file is running in backside PC p

I have a report that I am implementing a look back parameter, show me how many documents were released in the past X number of hours. I am using the database function System Date in my query builder but it seems to be reporting the system time 4 hours off. If its 1pm, the time displays as 9am, the timezone is correct as EDT. I can confirm that the reported time from the OS and Database using straight SQL queries is correct as is the reported timestamps of objects. This obviously throws off calculations in hours back since it is using this incorrect time in timestamp subtractions. I have seen previous posts related to this but its almost as if Windchill is applying the timezone offset twice. I've accounted for this by adding 4 hours to that time in my calculations but I should not have to do this. Thoughts?

Hi @BenLoosli Can I create multiple CAD workers on remote machine, if i created 4 Creo CAD workers, does it need 4 creo view adapters?are these 4 Creo workers are identical folders? One creo parametric application works with these 4 CAD workers? I mean one CAD application is enough for working with multiple workers?
