While filing the Intake form of Nonconformance and CAPA and adding the objects in Affected Objects Table,the users are able to Save/Finish the form even when the mandatory attrbutes on "Edit Affected Objects" page are skipped.  

Hello all. Do any of you know how to size a server for Windchill Index Search in 11.0 M010? I have searched for documentation without any result. I want to dedicate a server just for SOLR to improve response time.   I also checked in the SOLR oficial page but there is not a right answer.   Please help.   Thank you guys in advance. 

I know you can create a custom CAD worker but has anyone enabled a server side publishing of ECAD designs? Specifically I am referring to Board and Schematic designs to be published post check in and available to be retrieved via Creo View ECAD. Ideally, I would like to make is as easy as possible for user to pull down the Creo Parametric CAD assembly (which is created via MCAD/ECAD integration), the Allergo board and Capture schematic in a shared session.

Dear All, i need an advice, in most of the cases when I update a Cad structure: Removing, Adding or Replacing a part, most of the line numbers NOT connected to the part I've changed are removed. Now i have an EBOM (600 part) with 1/2 line numbers and I have to add it manually.  Someone else have faced this problem? it depends on CAD (Solid Edge) connector or a preference?   Thanks in advance

How to set the target folder for part within a customized auto association?   I read support article CS277056, there they talk about the EPMWorkspaceHelper.manager.setTargetFolder API. But when I tried to use it, it needs the new WTPart to be persistence, but on check in an error occurres with the message "The part is persistent!".   When the WTPart is not persistent the setTargetFolder function gets a null instead of a object id and doesn't execute. I get the following error: Cannot set target folder for objects that are not newly created.  1 out of 1 objects are not new.   Does someone have experience with it, and knows a solution? Because I want the new WTParts to be in the same context as the EPMDocument when changing folder for new EPMDocument but not in the same folder, so the preference 'Store New Parts with CAD Documents' is not a solution.

I was doing a patch on my test server and ran across an issue where Windchill didn't start.  Ultimately I think it was because of not running the update_tool after completion but the error pointed me to this article... CS197660.  However, I only had one method server.  My question is, do you always have to reduce your method server to one when doing a CPS update or can I leave all the settings alone?  My test server cannot handle more than one method server for me to test this.

Hi all,   In my case, I have a content link between CAD Drawing and WTPart. When CAD Drawing is revised , content link will be lost with the WTPart. I know that there is a preference in Org level to carry forward the content but it applies to all libraries. My client wants this logic only for few libraries and hence I may need code to achieve this functionality after revising CAD Drawing. Please suggest.   Regards.

I've struggled with this for a while but need to solve this finally.  CR/CN process works well for Parts, CAD and some critical documents. In my company, we see this as CCB control. Sign off is done via workflow through CN workflow process as stand in for signing actual configuration items.     An easier class of documents requires no sign off but we may want to "release". Some processing required for only the author is needed to deem it ok to release.  I can see just using set state in these cases.     There is a middle case where review and sign off is still required but who signs off is very loose, perhaps defined by document categories or types (not necessarily soft-types here). I have some old raster scans of hand drawings that we need to maintain. We make minor edits to them from time to time and re-pdf them. How can I manually upload this PDF drawing as a representation on the wtpart? I create a new representation and on "Chose Input Source" browse for the PDF  but the job status just sits stuck on EXECUTING. Is this possible?

Hi, Is there any way to know or extract any kind or report listing the users that have Access to certain product? For instance as example in image below there are 6 products folders listed, but I´m interested to know which are the users that have Access to IPG GSB 3D and IPG GSB LFP only, is there any way from windchill to extract in an easy way this info?      Thanks so much in advance

Hi, Is there any way to do an advanced search in windchill for parts/documents which Revisión or Versión are equal or greater tan A, so that only Alphanumericals Will be shown? I do not want to extract all revisions or versions starting by a number, I only want to extract from database that ones starting by a letter I do not know if this is posible and how I can define in the advanced search      

I do not know how I did this, but, I think it was rather easy for me to do... When I am logged into Windchill as the ORG or Site ADMIN I no longer have write permissions into my Library Structure (all the remains is Read permission)   In my Product structure the permissions still remain as Read and Write.   Anyone have thoughts how I did this, and how I can fix it?   The joys of Windchill just keep coming...   Thanks  

Hello,so i need to get all the items from a table, my method was to get the data with a custom Form Processor using the list of objectBean from the parameter of the post process method, but i figured out that i getting only a limited number of object depending of the scroll size of my table area. Do someone know how to fix that ? Get the list from nmcommandbean or increase the cache size in JS.Is there a mean to add JS in my tableBuilder to increase JS cache ? Thanks for your attention.
