We are trying to pull data from Windchill into Thingworx, either using REST services or InfoEngine Tasks (webject xml). But the REST APIs found in the windchill documentation have less or no samples. Please help us.

Please help me understand why my Creo drawings are not appearing the same as my drawing representation in Creo View. I have multiple drawings of parts and assemblies that are experiencing this issue. Here are the descriptions of the Creo View versions that are messed up: The first has removed all of the dimensions. The second and third, which are assemblies, have added rogue BOM balloons. In one drawing, the BOM balloon is linked to an item, but does not appear on the Creo side. In the other, the balloon appears to be unrelated to anything and has a "..." inside. The fourth drawing has removed dimensions and even hole features from the creo part. I don't think that this is a layer issue or an issue even within Creo, but the rogue balloon linked to an item makes me suspicious. Hello Gurus,I hope you can help me.I have a requirement to show a variable (of type WTUser) with a drop down in the workflow task.I have create a workflow variable of type wt.org.WTUser and made it visible, which is rendered with a drop down.However, the drop down lists all the users in the LDAP.How can I limit it to show only few users programmatically (e.g. the users in the role "Design Engineer" for the team instance)?Any idea what to customize?ThanksAntonio

Hi all, I have a bit of a quandary.For a brief moment, I was able to host an installation of Creo Parametric on a virtual server, open Creo on my workstation, and connect it to another separate server that was hosting Windchill. Now when I launch Creo Parametric and click on the server manager, Creo throws an error: "The server is not supported." Does anyone have any experience with an issue like this?

We can surely do Save As of Part and CAD document. When I try doing a Save As on pdf document, I get ' Error: Invalid object type for Save As'. Could anyone please tell me if there is a preference to allow Save As on Non-CAD documents.

All of our servers are moving to the cloud (Amazon web services - AWS).  We currently publish SolidWorks using a server configured as Win 7 - works perfectly.There seem to be some restrictions on configuring an AWS WV host with a workstation OS.  The WGM installer simply won't start on a server OS.  We've asked for an AWS host with Win 7 (or 8.1 is listed as being supported) with no luck from IT so far.Question: For everyone who currently publishes SolidWorks data, how are you managing the CAD Worker for SolidWorks?

Community,Does anyone know if there is a way to block search returns by state or other criteria but still allow a user to navigate and look/download the objects if needed?  We are in the middle of the tier 4 redesign and at some point would like to not have any tier 3 info return when a user (certain users only - maybe by role) search for something.

Dear All,Currently we have Windchill Projectlink which is implemented to manage the Project across the Cross Functional teams. I have populated all the activities and RACI has been done and now we have it running in a perfect conditionMy concern is:1. For every document being uploaded and added as deliverables (documents are essentially, word, excel, igs, pdf and ppt and not other data), we have to route it manually for approval or release.Is there any possible way to get it done automatically for the documents uploaded in Projectlink.Reason for asking:Sometimes the users upload the document and set the track work to 100% before getting it to approval stage. Also I would like to ask, if an activity is set as complete, but as an admin I know it is not. Is it possible to revert it back and make users to rework on it.Thanks in Advance

We are using Creo 3.0 (M120) and I wanted to know where the option is to change the Check Out option when I add something to my workspaces. The option is set as default to NONE, but we want to change it to INITIALLY SELECTED, but cannot seem to find exactly where the option is. We've changed a few options in the Preference Manager but either we're changing the incorrect options or are doing so incorrectly.
