Hi.Within Security Labels Configuration file I included a tag for Agreement Configuration.AgreementConfiguration enabled="true">    <AgreementManagersGroup>        <groupUfid>cn=Agreement Managers,ou=people,cn=AdministrativeLdap,cn=Windchill_10.2,o=xyz|Ldap.corp.xyz.com|Ldap.corp.xyz.com</groupUfid>    </AgreementManagersGroup>I then created a group called as Agreement Managers in Site Utilities and then added a user to that group.However when i login with that user i am not able to find any icon to create a new agreement ? Can you please let me know if my process is right ? If not can you please let me know how to create the same ?Thanks and Regards,Aditya Achanta

The attributes “View” and “Phantom Manufacturing Part” don't appear in the list of attributes when using edit multiple parts dialog."Edit Attribute Value" is missing some attributes defined in the View of "Edit Multiple Parts" dialogThis idea comes from case 13366683 and SPR - 6288848

Hi,I had configured Security Labels in my system. The method server is ready whenever i start and it doesn't crash. However few errors are being shown. I have 60 top level assemblies and I created wt part for the same. Now I need all 60 wt part to be converted as End Items. Can I do this in Windchill or should I remove association of all wt, delete wt's, create End item wt and then associate it again with respective assemblies?

When I run the API in test server, all is ok, but after applying to stage server(same production server), there is a error "wt.method.AuthenticationException", in method log file, the error info is "[RMI TCP Connection(14)-171.71.189.172] wt.httpgw.HTTPAuthentication  - HTTP login failed: client host = 171.71.189.172", who can help me? Hello all,Windchill is currently only used for CAD data management at Edwards (Windchill 10.2 M020, Creo 3.0 M060). Windchill is on state of the art servers and user workstations are high end, but Windchill is very slow for some users some of the time.  In general, the network is very capable and fast.  No specific reason identified yet.I've been asked to put measurement tools in place and methodically see what can be done.  We now have:- PTC System Monitor installed and monitoring production- PTC standard world car dataset in production- A few key users lined up to do performance testing in order to trend / compareI spent most of today on the available tools to automate the performance testing - with pretty good success.  Getting good support on this from EDC.  Able now to create / register workspace, import data, upload, checkin, checkout, export, etc., with log files recording the times.http://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/92341/en/WindchillSingleUserPerformanc

When doing a promotion request of a End item WT part in Windchill, is there a way to filter the other end items that are in the same BOM (along with their related components) from the collection?As an example, I have the two following assemblies:END ITEM 1, which contains:     PART 1     END ITEM 2END ITEM 2, which contains:     PART2Is it possible to create a promotion request for END ITEM 1 which doesn't automatically collect END ITEM 2 and its components (in this case, PART 2)Thank you

I have a couple, not all, WTParts that for some reason are showing multiple associations to the same version of a drawing.  For some reason the two instances I have investigated is has been four drawings.  I have tried manually editing the relationship and it did not resolve the issue.

Hi All,Can anyone let me know what is ContextBasedAgreementType. I had encountered this element while i am trying to edit the securityLabelsConfiguration.xml file which is a part in creation of Agreements. Is ContextBasedAgreementType a subtype of Agreement ? Can we find this is in Type and Attribute Manager Utility ? Or do we need to create a sub type of Agreement as ContextBasedAgreementType ? How can I find in WGM the data transfor matrix of a 3D CAD Document

I want to be able to have a Library Read only member  kick off the request to promote process.  Currently we have a library manger give the user the original file.  Once the edit is done the user gives it back to the library manager to upload to the system.  Then we want the user to be able to do the request to promote.  I have tried setting up the promotion notice and that did not work.  We are on WC 10.2 M020. When we create designs of plastic injection moulded parts we model it as an assembly which contains the actual plastic part plus any inserts and/or paint with a naming convention similar to the image belowUsing the example above, auto-associate creates wtparts for MP123456.asm, MP123456_moulding.prt and the BP parts. We don't really need the wtpart for MP123456_moulding.prt. Is there a way to stop auto-associate from creating this wtpart using, for example the fact the number (mp123456_moulding.prt) contains an underscore or could an attribute be used to tell auto-associate not to create the wtpart?Thanks in advance.David.

Hi all,Not all users want to see the filter "Type: Latest and with Design, Working". The windchill default is this setting.There are often lot of users who are not interested in the Latest, but they will be interested in "Date Effectivity".Can the default setting be set as  something other than Default, for example , can it be set to a Saved Filter that the admin has created, say " Date Effectivity".The idea is not to force such users to perform extra clicks to reach the filter that he is interested in , say "Date effectivity".I expected this to be a preference, or a property. Looks like its not.Let me know how you have solved this usability blockade for light users, who may not know where to seek the correct filter.Thanks!Hari

Has anyone tried to configure the CAD workers so that they create PDFs of the Drawing Overlay functionality? Does anyone know if this is possible?More specifically I am thinking it would be nice to capture this in a workflow that was kicked off as part of an engineering change workflow. The publisher would grab the affected and resulting drawings and create a PDF representation that shows the overlay.

I'm using the wwgmtk to import a list of Solidworks files in my workspace. Some of the files already exists within Windchill and I would like to set the "reuse existing" option as in the GUI, but using APIs.

I read on the book :" the drawing retrieves its geometry from its associated model, changes to the model are automatically reflected in the drawing and do not require the drawing's CAD document to iterate if the model geometry changes."and I do not agreemy companies has rules mandating iterating the drawing when the model changeshow i can do it automatically , what setting i have to useandwhen i drain on workspace  the part or asm how i can download also their drawing, how is the setting ?   Many thanks

Hi I am building a utility to import BOM in customer format.Requirement is:--1. User will upload BOM in CSV format.2. User can preview CSV in HTML and validate before uploading to windchill.3. CSV wont be uploaded or lets say BOM wont be uploaded if there is any error in Line item.4. Result of Upload Process should appear against CSV rows in HTML.Please suggest.//Rakesh
