Windchill Navigate

Hello,   In the Navigate 1.5 doc there's mentioned NavigateOrganization organization which should help with setting the visibility. But as far as I can see, this organization is no longer in the PTC Navigate 1.5. Could anyone please confirm?

Hi all, I'm working on a POC where I'm using PTC Navigate(1.5.1). Similar to 'View Document' ootb app in the Landing Page, I'm developing an app 'View Issue Document' app where the user can see only the Issue Documents(a sub-type of wtDocument). I am able to get only the Issue docs to be displayed  but I can't download its primary content. Can the ootb app (View Document) configured to see only the subtype of wtDocument? If not, then which services should I use in my custom app to achieve the download functionality?   Thanks in Advance.   Regards, Saran

Hi   Has anyone successfully installed Navigate 1.5 without PingFederate SSO? All documentation I found includes the steps to configure PingFederate configuration for SSO. As I am trying this on Dev server, I am trying to skip the SSO.   When I test the services on ptc-windchill-demo thing, I get the results. But when I access the apps that use the same service, no results are showing up. I also tried the REST URL generated in Runtime Integration window when we use the app. That  gives the results when accessed in stand alone browser.   Does Navigate 1.5 without SSO?   Thanks Mahesh

Hi,   pingFederate installation and licence file deployment  is same or different.   https://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/172779/en/PTC_Single_Sign_on_Architecture_and_Configuration_Overview_Guide.pdf​   The attached document describes the Installing pingfederate, in which procedure for installation is not available but steps for deployment of licence file is available.   Can  anyone please help me out in installing the pingFederate..?   Thanks, Madhu

I am getting error Exception executing service,GetAppCollection.This service is returning null value. I am able to create the document using the below given service.(The property values were hardcoded for test purposes. Hi I'm Seon Ho.     After applying the Navigate extension, I can see Windchill's information through Thingworx by adding the Windchill Administrator account to the Thingworx Administrators group. This is a question about how to make a more detailed configuration.     There is no single organization or product in windchill.     First, do I need to distribute it to each organization or group of organizations?     If you add a group called sales to Thingworx and then log in to Windchill's account, it will be automatically added to the group called sales. Can it be mapped by organization, team, role, or group? If you can, let me know how.     When you log in to Thingworx with a Windchill account, an account is created automatically. Hi i'm SeonHo     i installed Thingworx navigate and check navigate app     every app works well except View Drawing a wtpart 'valve.asm' has CAD/dynamic DOC     but when i access View Drawing come message "No drawing found for entered number."   valve.asm is despite having drw, pdf, dxf, View Drawing doesn't work     how work it? thanks

Hi I'm SeonHo   I have a question about Thingworx Navigate.     First, how do you navigate through mobile?   Second, Mashup's Creo View through the part structure view is not displayed. PTC Creo View Control is in use in the Manage Add-ons section of Internet Options. View & Measure 3D is displayed. However, you can not see the Creo View on the left side of the Part Structure view.     my Thingworx 7.3 and navigate 1.4 Tomcat 8.0.46 IE11 Windchill 11.0 M020 and that installed VMware Thank you for your help.

Hi i'm SeonHo     I installed the Navigate. However, an error occurs when accessing Thingworx. The DNS address of the server is not found. It can be used by registering server DNS in hosts file. I added address = "0.0.0.0" to tomcat's server.xml to access Thingworx from outside and added the port on which tomcat is running to the inbound rule. Thingworx can be accessed in the same way as above, but is not accessible after Navigate installation. What should I do? Do I have to configure the reverse proxy to allow external access to Windchill to view Navigate from outside? Should Thingworx Navigate be installed on another Windchill server with a reverse proxy configured?     thank

Hi, We are able to login to Thingworx with the wcadmin password,but getting 403 Error when validating in ptc-windchill-integration-connector the connection between thingworx 8.0.1 and Windchill 11.0 M030.

Hi I'm SeonHo   The current situation is that I installed the navigate extension and redirected it to navagate when I signed into Composer with Windchill's account However, if you log in with your Windchill account, you will see "Unable to invoke service CollectApps on AppCollectionsConsolidator: You do not have permission to navigate apps.Please contact the Administrator". However, as an Administrator's account (It changed the password to wcadmin after configuring the navigate.) I tried to modify AppCollectionConsolidator after logging in and it was not possible to fix it.(it was only view possible) How do I view data through navigate with a Windchill account? How do I set it up?     thank

Hi,   We installed thingworx of 8.0.1 and thingworx navigate of 1.5.0. We installed and configured integration runtime to connect to Windchill. But once in everyday it is terminating automatically. Everyday morning we need to run integration runtime again. We configured as per the document.   Can anyone please assist me the reason behind it.   ThnakYou, Madhu

Hi,   After the Installation of CPS09 on Windchill 11.0 M020, now I have an error to tailoring Part List Attribute on PTC Navigate 1.4.   In the log of Composer for Navigate, I have this message : [context: com.thingworx.webservices.context.HttpExecutionContext@756817c0][message: Unable to Invoke Service GetDisplayableAttributes on PartsListAccessAppThing : JSON Server error HTTP 404     Thanks for your idea Regards

Hi everyone,   I've been having issues with the OOTB task "View Document". Whenever I try to open a document I get the following Status Message: "Unable to Invoke Service GetDocument on DocumentAccessAppThing : Configuration error, target not includes base URL: https://[myserver]/Windchill/servlet/WindchillAuthGW/com.ptc.wvs.server.ui.UIHelper/getPartStructureED?partid=OR%3Awt.doc.WTDocument%3A228052&ncCacheCookieType=ViewablesWS&visnav=1&navcriteriaid=320326141991536014&ncCacheHostName=aa7282b2-3085-4016-bba5-efae6d75b68b&levels=-1&ncCacheSessionId=05bdfe20-2915-49fe-bf75-1a765cc1fda1&u8=1"   Also a bunch of widgets are broken as well as shown in the following image.   I tried to trace the Service that is causing this error, but can't find any "configuration" or property to solve what the Status message states. Hello,   I have a trouble with Tree Table widget which comes from Windchill extension. Wherever it placed, it occupies exactly 50% of available width, even on pure Mashup without any other elements and without any settings at all. Screenshots are attached. If someone knows how to make it occupy all the width, I will be very thankful.

Hi,   I tried to load a parts list in Navigate, created in Service Information Manager and found below issues.   1. Graphical contents created in Creo Illustrate is not getting displayed 2. Hi All,I am able to create Custom app on the PTC Navigate landing page, but the app is only available for Administrator. I am not able to find the Edit Icon for the Custom apps to Tailor for the Users. Can any one help me in bringing the Edit Icon for Custom app? Is their any documentation available to bring the Edit Icon and Tailoring Mashup that helps to Tailor app for the User Groups as functionality available for default Navigate Apps?

Hello,   I am currently analysing the Navigate Applications. In order to test the View Drawing App, I have set up a Windchill Installation with an example product, including various .PRT and .ASM files. I have also created some drawings and PDFs based on these drawings. My question is, how do I have to link the CAD-Documents/WTParts/PDFs in order to have them show up in the View Drawing App results screen? I tried to upload the PDF and link it to the WTPart under the "Described by"-Documents tab, which did not solve the problem. The only result showing on the Results page is the .plt viewable, which was automatically created by a Worker.   Thank you
