Windchill Navigate

hi. i've set up Thingworx SSO with an AD server.If Windchill cannot be configured for SSO,Is it possible to use the current Thingworx logged-in user account for the Windchill connector(OData, Swagger) after authenticating Thingworx with SSO? This is because each user has different permissions in Windchill. Thanks.  

Hi Team,Facing an inconsistent error some of the endpoint APIMappings returing error  Your route exchange has failed. Resource Error [java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: json object can not be null]. whilst its working for other endpoint API mappings.

hello. When applying Windchill Authentication in Thingworx Navigate,Windchill's TLS version needs to be set to 1.2 for the Odata Connector and Swagger Connector to function. However, Windchill interfaces with other systems where only allowing TLS1.2 is not feasible. Is there a way to allow both TLS1.2 and TLS1.3 in Apache HTTP Server and ensure Thingworx Navigate's connectors also work? I tried the following configuration, but it resulted in a handshake error on the Apache server.SSLProtocol -all +TLSv1.2 +TLSv1.3SSLProxyProtocol -all +TLSv1.2 +TLSv1.3

hi, i'm implementing SSO. The IDP is ADFS and the CAS is PingFederate.I configured according to the referenced document,but encountering an error in Part i.https://support.ptc.com/help/identity_and_access_management/en/index.html#page/iam/ExampleAdfsIdentityProviderWindchillResourceProvider.html# I'm experiencing an error on the redirect page when accessing Thingworx, as shown in the attached image.How can i resolve this error?   

Hello, I am pretty new to Kepware and was hoping for some guidance.  Using advanced tags or Thingworx, is there a way to convert decimal data coming from a Siemens PLC to ASCII and feed it into Thingworx?  The result I need to get should read like +99.9I was able to find a chart that shows decimal to ASCII, but I am not sure how I can make that conversion using Kepware/Thingworx.

Hello,I want to ok install Thingworx navigate, Thingworx foundation and Thingworx flow and also need to setup sso in azure for Thingworx. Anybody is having the documents or videos step by step guides even though creation of keystore files. I went through ptc help centers it totally confusing ,not sequential, skipping some steps and mis leading to lot of confusion. As m doing this first time so please anybody having these documents please provide. Thank you in advance 

Is there a way to read the contents inside a primary content of a WTDocument stored in Windchill through ThingWorx REST OData Connector when the Windchill is on single sign on mode? We are able to read the contents if the Windchill is on non-SSO mode. But on SSO mode, the mashup widget fails to read content from Windchill as it couldn't get authenticated.  We are on ThingWorx 9.3.7 and Windchill 12.1.2.5 Please help. Thanks in advance 

I have some legacy/migrated drawings in Windchill but these ‘Drawings’ are actually wt.documents because at migration time we only had the PDF or TIFF files and they’re not linked with the wt.part. In Thingworx Navigate there’s separate tasks to search for drawings and documents by number or name, are there any suggestions how to help users find the drawings they are looking for, when the drawings are actually documents?

Hi,   I am upgrading a Thingworx from 8.4.2 to 9.3+. The customer was using the Thingworx Navigate extension, and as per them, they did not have any License for Thingworx Navigate,When I upgrade, the Thingworx Navigate Extension is no longer working due to the Java Version compatibility.Therefore, I have installed Thingworx Navigate using the installer, but as per Navigate, many features need the Navigate License.So, has the licensing changed from Thingworx 8.4.2 to 9.3+?And what is the difference between Thingworx Extension vs Thingworx Navigate installation?Thanks,

Message :: TypeError: Cannot read property "kpis" from undefined - See Script Error Log for more details. When I read this service : var result = (json_yt);I have an array with all data. When I try to do this with _timeOption "All month" it works, only with Yesterday it wont works. I dont know if I made a mistake or the platform have some problems. Can someone help me?Thanks  

Hi all,   I want to fetch data from flex plm to my Thingworx and then after fetching the data I want to make them in a report format like I want to apply analytics on those data's (and the data here is huge) for an example I have many rows and columns of data(that is in json format)  and I want to fetch it then in mashup I want to show them in a format like I want to some filter criteria on those data and also percentage criteria like how many number of data are active or in active like that  so for that what should my approach like fetching all the data from flex then storing it in thingworx database and then apllied different analytics on it or directly fetching it and showing it to the mashup but in this case how  can we apply analytics on the data?   Thanks and Regards, Rayon    

We setup Thingworx Navigate with Windchill Authentication and had assumed the 'My Tasks' task would show tasks from Windchill e.g. Windchill 'Work Items', but it doesn't seem so. Is it correct that only External Tasks for the Out of Box Change Request Workflow of Windchill 12.0 and onwards are shown?

This is a new installation for test and development, connected to our Windchill dev/test system which is configured SSL/HTTPS with CA signed certificates. We set up a Thingworx Platform server (MSSQL) SSL with self-signed certs installed Thingworx Flow, and then we installed Thingworx Navigate with fixed authentication and did some setup, generated app keys, did some training and tests etc with the Administrator user. Then we decided the next step should be to configure the Windchill Authentication but after running the Navigate Configurator and setting up the Windchill Authentication successfully the Thingworx Administrator user is gone? We can login to Thingworx Composer/Flow/Navigate as Windchill users, e.g. wcadmin account.
