Hello,The standard behavior in case of existing equivalent link when parts are modified are:Iteration or revision of the downstream part automatically create an equivalent link to the Upstream version. Iteration or revision of the upstream part do not create an equivalent link from the existing Downstream version.For one of the downstream view of the view hierarchy (2 levels, one upstream, multiples downstream):It is possible to reverse the behaviour between Upstream and Downstream ? It is possible to disactivate the automatic equivalent link creation when modifying the downstream Part ?Can behavior be set differently if the Part are iterated or revised ?Can behavior be set with other Branch attributes like BOM Type in case of the upstream and downstream are with the same view ? The idea is to give flexibility with accuracy and clarity in the management of the maturity between System team, Design team, Engineering team.Ideally for this view in Downstream, Equivalent link is auto-create

where can I acquire University License for Creo 13 cant find the University License Page for Creo 13 at all. thanks a ton.

Sampling pages within the Tech Pack should be unique to each sample type, displaying only the attributes relevant to the selected sample. Pages should be presented in the correct approval sequence, with visual assets displayed alongside each sample stage (including marked up images as well as original images). This provides clear guidance and context for the factory, improving understanding and reducing errors throughout the sampling process.

You may currently have trouble uploading or pasting images in the PTC Community. Image functionality has been temporarily disabled due to a recently announced PHP vulnerability.Gainsight has already patched the vulnerability, and we expect full image functionality to be restored soon.Thanks for your patience!

I have a Mathcad Prime 12 Student Edition One-time License and product key, but Mathcad signed me out of my account and now wont accept the product key i purchased. Its not expired. How to fix?

I would like to show the schedule information of work items and trackers in a Gantt chart.According to the user guide, GanttChart, DynamicGantt, and CBQL are supported in a widget in a wiki page.However, to build my widget, the following three points can't be found in user guide :    #1. List of Wiki plugins available in Codebeamer 3.0.0    #2. How to display items extracted via CBQL in a Gantt chart    #3. How to implement a Dynamic Gantt Chart       (・Is it a Wiki plugin?    ・Is it a widget?    ・Is it exclusive to the Dashboard? )So please can you tell the information in above.My version: Codebeamer 3.0.0I have planned to place the gantt chart in the following location:    #1. Description field in a work item (Wiki text)    #2. A widget in a Wiki page

I would like to request a temporary evaluation license for Mathcad 15 to perform local compatibility testing of a software integration demo. I already have the Mathcad 15 installation package, but I do not have a Mathcad 15 license. I have completed testing with Mathcad Prime; however, its trial license cannot activate Mathcad 15. I now need to separately verify compatibility with Mathcad 15, including opening and saving legacy worksheets, modifying input variables, recalculating worksheets, and retrieving results through its automation API. I understand that Mathcad 15 has been discontinued and that the previous trial licensing links are no longer available. Could you please confirm whether a short-term evaluation license can still be issued for this purpose? If not, please advise whether there is another authorized way to carry out this compatibility testing. The requested license would be used solely for local development and evaluation, not for production deployment. Thank you f

We allow users to add and remove participants from a workflow task.  I can catch empty roles in the future, but how do you catch the current task if a user removes all participants in the current role they are an approver?  Right now when you remove the last user, it hides the ability to add new users and just processes the task as if you Completed Task.

I have used Windchill PDMLink since version 3 and the “New Folder” (Next Gen UI) is terrible.What is PTC trying to look like?Not only would this require all existing work instruction and users guides to be updated, it’s just not a good layout.

Hi community,I am aware of the different behavior of links between different types of tracker (shared/branched) with regard to streams. But I was just wondering aboutWhat are criteria to configure a tracker as “branched”? What are criteria to configure a tracker as “shared”? In which use cases should links be placed upstream from the shared tracker to the branched tracker? (shared tracker → branched tracker)? In which use cases should links be placed upstream from the branched tracker to the shared tracker (branched tracker → shared tracker)?I’m thinking about trackers of type releases, user stories, change requests, bugs, test configuration, test set, test runs...Does anyone have clear answers?BR,Markus

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.2.0 Why Workgroup Manager is needed for Solidworks? As observed Creo don't need the WGM any longer. Impact is with WGM it takes a lot of time, without WGM it is significantly faster for big assemblies. If we can have a quick call with PDMLink and CAD integration team to answer the follow up question it will be great. This is not urgent.

 We are currently running Windchill 12.0.2.25 and are planning a migration to Windchill+ 13.1.3, so we are looking for an approach that will work well in both environments.We have a requirement to rank Manufacturer Parts (MPNs) associated with OEM parts as follows:Rank 1 = Approved for Primary Build BOM Rank 2 = Approved for Secondary Build BOM Blank = No restriction; can be used in either buildThe challenge is that the ranking is assembly-specific, not a property of the Manufacturer Part itself.For example:Assembly-AMPN-A = Rank 1 MPN-B = Rank 2Assembly-BMPN-A = Rank 2 MPN-B = Rank 1Because of this:The rank cannot reside on the Manufacturer Part, since the same MPN may have different rankings depending on the assembly where it is used. I don't believe it belongs on the OEM-to-Manufacturer Part (AML) relationship either, since that relationship is global and would not vary by assembly context. Alternate/Substitute Parts do not appear to fit this use case because the requirement is tied

I have inserted a table from excel and i now want to add the values from two of those columns together, but i keep getting the error value must be a scalar or matrix.

Dear PTC Technical Support Team,I am using PTC Kepware KEPServerEX version 6.18 and have the Advanced Tags plug-in installed.I have connected a machine through its OPC UA server and am receiving a tag with the String data type. The string contains multiple fields separated by a pipe (|) delimiter.Example input string:123|Temperature|25.6|°CThe string format is:ID|Name|Value|UnitI need to extract only the third field (25.6) and make it available as a separate tag in KEPServerEX. The source string updates continuously, so the extracted value must update automatically whenever the source tag changes.My questions are:Does KEPServerEX 6.18 support extracting a specific field from a String tag using the built-in Advanced Tags or Derived Tags functionality? If yes, please provide the exact, valid expression syntax and step-by-step configuration instructions to extract the third field between the second and third | delimiters. What should the destination tag's data type be if I need the extrac

I am using CodebeamerX Release 4.2 and Datecode4.2 We have configured the OpenID Configuration using Microsoft Entra authentication provider. After the configuration is done we tried to hit the below API with our instance URL to check whether the generated access token from the client id, client secret and the token uri is valid or not. API - http://10.13.27.208:8080/cb/api/v3/users/findByName?name=AutomationSyncUser Response received was Not authenticated. So is there any other options or any missing configuration to be done additionally in CodbeamerX configuration to make the Access token usable. Here are the errors that I faced Response recieved { "message": "Not authenticated", "resourceUri": "/cb/api/v3/users/findByName" }

I created a user account, but when I try to install PTC Mathcad Express Prime 9.0.0.0, I receive this message: "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type." How can I resolve this?

I cannot believe PTC is selling.  What does everyone think?
