How do I raise a complaint about the very low and poor support from PTC.  Given the cost the level of help is appauling.

Hello everyone, for an Export of DOORS (DOORS 9.7.2.4) Modules, we are using the Windchill Requirements Connector (4.0.1.0).The Modules have attached Office-Documents, but the export of the modules only containing .ole-Objects that are only describing the preview picture (no ...Excel.Sheet.8 .... object).By using the Atego Synchronizer (2.4.3) for exporting the same Modules, there is also the office-object parsed in the ole-object. Is this a known Bug in the WRC? On the System we are using WRC, there is no Microsoft Office Application installed. On the System we are using Atego Synchronizer, there are Microsoft Office Application installed.I have a guess that this can be the reason, for not be able to parse the Office-Documents.Could installing the Office Applications, already solve our problem? The ole of Atego Synchronizer looks like:{\object\objemb{\*\objclass Excel.Sheet.8}\objw7755\objh1800{\*\objdata....}{\result{\pict{\*\picprop}\wmetafile8\picw7755\pich

I am looking for the auto synchronization tool or option where the doors module can be sync with the integrity document and reverse way also.  Is there any utility available ?  Currently I am doing manually with PTC IRC tool, Exporting doc from Integrity as ReqIF file and importing ReqIF file to DOORs again via IRC tool. Would it be possible to do automation here ?

Hi, I have recently installed a standalone version of PTC Windchill (v8.5 formerly known as IM) in order to check a model received and then export it for use in the latest PTC Windchill product.  I have the enabler service running and can currently see an Example and Model repository.I was delivered a .SAV file in a SAV.ZIP file.  I am unable to import the .ZIP (no model information) from PTC IM and unable to see how to Recover the .SAV file (unzipped) using Repository Administrator (running in administrator mode).  Can anyone please help by instructing me how to load the model into a repository?  Many thanks 😓

I'm trying to populate a StateDiagram with only a subset of State items contained in the StateMachine (State having a specific stereotype), but I'm unable to create new Symbol for each State to add in the state diagram.The following returns this error "Unable to create an object across this role (Class=2095, Role=8270)":    Set NewSymbol = MyState.Add("SD State") Any idea on the way to create a new symbol for a State Item ?

Hi,  I was wondering if it is possible to create matrices in PTC Modeler with more than one row item role. In my case, I would like to show both Blocks and Block Properties as row item roles in an Allocation Matrix. (Block Properties are created for the matrix using a reference tag). If possible, how must the rowItemRoles in the properties be specified? I would appreciate any help.  Thanks, David

Hello all, We've come across fields without an "Editability" Tab, where we need to lock the field's editability dependend on the item's state. How do we do that? In our system there is a field "Category" with the type "fva" where the Relationship is "References" and the Field is "Shared Category". The field "Shared Category" is from type "pick". This field "Category" is visible on an Item "Input". What I want to achieve is that if the "Input" item is in State "Released", the field "Category" shall not be editable. Normally, within the "Input" Type I can override the editability for a field within the "Editability" tab... but it is missing?! Why is it missing and how do I accomplish that it is read-only dependent on the item's state? Thanks and kind regards,Michael

We are currently trying to enhance the functionality of the Approval Matrix which is generated by a trigger script called MKS_ALM/CreateApprovalMatrix.js The script generates a basic HTML string for display. Since we want to enhance the funcitonality and add more data to the matrix as well as use this type of depiction for other use cases we are concerned that the clarity of a simple table will suffer greatly. Therefore we had the idea of creating tabs (html buttons) and change their visibility via some custom JavaScript code and custom CSS. Contradicting to this article it is indeed possible to make this work within the web client, because by default a scripts/custom.js is loaded. I've been tasked with writing an automation JAVA app for the export and import of documents from DOORS. I've reviewed the WRC User Guide for this task but have found it lacking regarding automation. The user guide explains using batch files and window task to automate, but I can't seem to get this to work. Does anyone have any experience in writing WRC automation scripts?

Hi ,we have a continuous integration server running. On the server, there is a webserver “Apache” running using the system account. Further, there runs a Jenkins service with a special user account.If the Jenkins gets a trigger (svn commit, system state changes or something else), a test job is started. Most test suites require a connection to Integrity to automatically download or upload documents from/to Integrity. Currently, it is not possible to connect automatically for any job after a reboot, since Integrity asks for a password and exits abnormally since there is no possible to enter a password (no Windows session running) and, more important, a manual interaction would be required (which is not possible).But, if we start a Windows session using rdp with the user account  andI start Integrity manually once and hold the session, all subsequent triggered jobs run correctly (since Integrity is still correctly running in background). The feature we need is, that Integr

I'm trying to import a zip file containing a reqif file and an rtf file. After the import is completed, I get the error :"'UI' com.atego.exerpt.utils.general.an::a - Cannot find referenced file 'C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\atego_zip_18359550f522058383328985655046\files\DOCATTACHMENT_89-screenshot-20220606-181442.png.rtf'." I'm not sure why the tool is not able to fetch the rtf file. Has anyone else faced this issue? Dear all, currently, during mechatronic development, we're using the column "comment internal" for specification of first potential supplier.I'm looking now for another column (ideal "comment internal 2") for a second supplier.I know "comment to supplier" but don't want to use it for internal notes. Is there a column which can be used for that? I could'nt find another free field.
