Hi All,   As part of some test scenario, We were deleted one of the IBPL fields which have millions of reference to many item types. is there a way that we can fix this issue without harming the database manually .inserting or updating database not recommended for such auto DB populated applications. Any help other than DB related would be highly appreciated. We really want to remove the references now !!   Thanks Afsal Ashraf 

Hello, we use the presentation templates to define different images for different types. Now some images have been updated and we have overwritten the images of some types in the original folder. The link under "Image URL" in the presentation template has not changed, only the image itself.Unfortunately not all changed images are displayed (in some types the old images are still visible, in some already the new ones).Does anyone know this behavior and can tell me how to solve it? Is there a hidden cache for this? Thank you

Hi. I integrity says "External Script Name" does not exist, but that´s how it is called in the GUI... How to specify it via CLI?   Is there a general document giving information about available field specifiers and their correct names?

Hello, I am trying to change a field value of a requirement based on if any of the subsection requirements has been edited (Pick list value changed). I am trying to do this using a trigger but I am unsure how to do so. I thought that we are only able to change field values in the same requirement. Based on this, the only way I could see to do this is by pulling information from a relationship field (contained by) and changing the field value through this relationship field. Is this possible? I tried implementing this using the command "getNewRelationshipFieldBeans" and then running an abort command to display what information I pull from the field but what I receive is "[Lmks.ci.server.engine.LocalTriggerManager$ScriptRelationshipBean;@128b7461". Is there another way to accomplish this (easier way)? Is this even possible (I hope so)? I am using Integrity 11.2. I really appreciate your help. Please let me know if there is any more information

Hi All,   I want to create custom action handler in the toolbar which generates the URL for the selected Item. I’ve implemented the Jar file for the performance the same. However, if the item does have an exponential value the URL is generated, However, I’m unable to go the specific location clicking the link, its throwing in an error.   http://mksprod.com:7001/si/viewproject?projectName=/AEU/AEUM1/CustomerDev/VW/PR17876%HLOMN%5fDomain%5fSystem/02%5fProject%5fManagement/07%5fP/02%5fEIntrernal/VW%30E³/project.pj   Here the above link the project name has subscript value and that’s the reason the link is breaking. Hi there, can someone please explain me exactly what is allowed to edit on versioned items and what is not?   Following problem for example: I have a pick field on my Specification Item. I added this pick field to the "Version Edit Fields" in the Document Model. But when I try to change the pick field on a versioned item I get the error message "Could not save modified item [ID]-[Revision]: MKS930844: Specification: [ID]-[Revision] is versioned. This operation cannot be applied to versioned documents or items." So, does that mean not all fields can be "Version Edit Fields"? What is the logic behind that and why?   Thanks, Timo

Does anyone have experience in importing SSL certificate in Integrity 12.1 version? Now procedure is different from earlier versions  as we need to install java externally now .I have imported SSL certificate into java Keystore. Application is not able to connect with LDAP server but it works without encryption. Does it relates to certificate Issue?? Import with keytool---- D:\Integrity\Java\bin>keytool -import -keystore D:\Integrity\Java\lib\security\cacerts  -alias Integrity -file D:\Integrity\Java\bin\********CA_PEM.cer    

Has anyone implemented CMMI solution template (like ALM, Agile, Medical) on Integrity?

We are using ILM 10.9 on Server with a 10.4 Client providing via Terminal Server (Citrix), to allow especially for external Partner Access to Integrity without the Need of local Tool Installation. Server-sided we use as Default Setting the Working Timestamp as Revision Timestamp. We now face the issue that from time to time the Timestamp within the Sandbox differs from the Timestamp stored on the Server.  Testing this issue more detailed it doesn't matter whether we use the Resync-Option "Restore Revision Timestamp" or not, syncing data lead randomly to such Timestamp deviations, usually with only 1 or 2 Seconds.   Does anybody have an idea of Root Cause? Can it be avoided? (If I could force the behavior, I would create a case ....)   Hoping on a usefull hint, Klaus

Hello friends,      I am trying to create a Custom Recipe in PTC Integrity 10.9 for a report where I need to fetch the field value of a document that is related to the document that has been passed as an input to the report.   var fieldvalue1 = <%fieldname1%>; var fieldvalue2 = <%fieldname2%>;   Here, I want the fieldvalue2 to be value of the field "fieldname2"as per the document that I got as "fieldvalue1".   I am very new to Integrity custom report creation. Appreciate your help.    

Hi, I have a pick list that has the option "allow multiple values" checked. I would like to use this field for another item type, but with "allow multiple values" deactivated (single selection only). Is there any possiblity to do this with the same field or do I need two different fields?   The "overrides for fields" can not change this property. With the types contraints I do not see how to do it. Is a trigger the only option? But using a trigger, the GUI still would show that field as multiple value?   Any ideas? Thx, Timo

Looking for some real world examples of the data file verses what is provided within the java script as general example. Would like to take this script and modify for additional processes as well but need real world examples and commentary to understand the usage of the file.

Hello, I am trying to start a query with im issues --queryDefinitionFile="C:/Temp/queryDef.txt" queryDef.txt contains the query definition: --queryDefinition=(("field[Document ID]=516733")and("item.live")and("item.meaningful"))   This returns the error "MKS124814: Cannot show view information: Missing end )" I have tried a lot with leaving out "--queryDefinition=" and more and less ",(,), whatsoever. The definition is definitely correctly readable from the file, which I can see with the im issues -F option which returns the content of the queryDef.txt file as an error message (I just mention this to clarify that the path and name and everything is flawless)     I don´t see any error in the syntax. I can even use this query definition with directly typing im issues --queryDefinition=(("field[Document ID]=516733")and("item.live")and("item.meaningful")) and get the result that I am looking for. But of course there is little point in using the CLI if I not wanted to automize

Hello and good day,   we are using Integrity 10.8 and need to change the Test Session/Case workflow so that only specific Test Cases (state = Active) are added or their verdicts editable within the Test Result Editor. Currently every Test Case of a Test Suite is added to a Test Session and their verdicts are editable, no matter what status the Test Case currently is in.   Would someone please explain how we can achieve this requirement or maybe its not possible? Hi there,   I created a read-only dynamic group "Read-only Members", which must not be allowed to change or add items in a project. For the requirement document and content item I changed the item editability to: User is not member of "Read-only Members". This works only for existing items. Problem is, that the users of "Read-only Members" are still able to create a new document and create a new content item inside an existing document. How can I deny this as well for the group?   Thanks, Timo

We are using the SE Solution, where the category for the type requirement is constrained in the following way:   Constrained Method: Field Relationsship Source Field: Referenced Item Type Source Values: Shared Requirement Constrained Field: Category Allowed Values: Heading, ...   Can someone explain me why "Referenced Item Type = Shared Requirement" is used here? Why not just "Type = Requirement"? Would that make a difference?   Thanks Timo

Currently the system allows you type in the URL address for the image but when we move to testing there can be no changes made unless it is moved back to a development environment as the audit rules say you do not make changes after testing has been signed off.   Should be able to embed the <%hosturl%> as a part of the link to give the ability to NOT change the URL for moving from Staging to Production.

I've created a document type called a Product Structure, and items within the product structure are the product structure elements.  The idea is that when the user creates a functional requirement, he can assign it to one of the product structure elements.   So in the requirements item I have an IBPL that points to the defined items in the product structure.  Works great and is really flexible. But I would like to restrict the IBPL items that are displayed to the current project only.  It is never acceptable for a requirements document to assign requirements to another products product structure elements.   Can anyone suggest how to do this?  I've played with creating filters on the IBPL field, but cannot see how to filter on current project. if that is not possible I'm ok with associating the product structure document to the requirements document through a Relationship or Attachment, but didn't see how to set that up on a filter. How do you remove unwanted span tags from rich content? Somehow tags were added which is defining the text as black and this is causing issues elsewhere. Normally the font color isn't defined.

Hey Community,   I am building a Model that I want an output to occur. In saying that I want the model to be able to produce a solution through an equation that I have produced. I have tried doing this through SySim and also Simulink and to this point have had no luck unfortunately, and was wondering if anyone knew if this was possible? If there is a inbuilt mathematical solver within Integrity Modeller.   Thanks
