I have set a field "Functional Value" with the following computation : aggregate(Satisfies,sum(Type="System Requirement" AND IsLive()?"System Functional Allocation":0))I would set a constraint on a picklist field according to the value returned by the Functional Value field.But unfortunatly, I have the following error message : "Unable to evaluate source relationship based on field "Functional Value" because its computation involves an external information function"

Hello all,   Could someone help   „- one shared a requirement of document 1 in document 2.  -        One reviewed the requirement in the document of 2 and sets the state to released or review.  -        If one changes the requirement in the document 1, then the requirement in the document 2 changes automatically.  -        The state in the document 2 remains on released or in review.  -        Since the text changed we would like to have the state in the document 2 to jump back to in progress like in the document 1. Otherwise the developer will not be aware of the      changes in document 1 Is there a way to implement it without using email notification? Oumar

Hello PTC support,   I'm trying to learn more about Automatic Code Generation and TDK but unfortunately  the tutorial you have about TDK (TDKM2TTutorial1) seems to be old and not compatible with Integrity Modeler because for example: if you check the classe diagram of: TheGenerator::Generator::Model2Text Package then you will find that this diagram and it's classes are completely different in Modeler than what is explained in the Tutorial!! Do you have any new Tutorials for TDK or can you please help me with this issue.   Best Regards from Munich Morhaf

Hi, I'm a student from germany working on the integration of MKS into MATLAB Simulink. Via google I found out that there is a possibility to directly link Simulink Blocks to requirements in MKS, but it seems there is an addin or something similar needed (called mksmathworks.exe), to accomplish this integration. My Version of MATLAB meets all the requirements mentioned in this document ftp://ftp.mks.com/pub/support/integritysoln2009/integrations/Mathworks/readme.htmand I'm owning a full license of MKS Integrity 2009. Is there anybody who can tell me how to conduct this integration of MKS into MATLAB and where I can get this mksmathworks.exe, mentioned in the link above. Many thanks in advance Niklas

Hello all,in the test result Editor, for the Annotation field of a test step. i can change the text but i can delete it (as in the test case's Annotation field). Why i must clear the result and write it again to empty the test step's Annotation field.

I have a scheduled script, and I've modified it to have an additional functionality to run as a rule. However, when I did run my rule trigger I received an error that the script may be run only from a scheduled trigger. I looked in the script and I couldn't find any sort of tag or check which specifically labels it as a scheduled trigger. When we have many menu items, not all menu items are shown up, and we cannot select some menu items.<More specifically>If we use a laptop PC of B5 size, only 30 menu items are shown up on the screen, and the 31th item are half-shown, and we cannot see the rest of items.If we use a laptop PC of A4 size, only 33 menu items are shown up, and we cannot see the rest of items.If we encounter such a situation, we have to switch over to the another menu, this is cumbersome and time-consuming. We want to have a vertical scroll bar as depicted below.

Hi All,If one of your member (File is an .exe) got infected with virus and we working with heterogeneous environment like Linux & windows FSA servers. Will there be any issues when if anybody opens this file to use or will there be any issues when passing through any of our windows servers. The name of the Trojan is Trojan.Gen.SMH and I am trying to find more about the Trojan from our security team, mean while I want to ask this question in Idea forum if anyone has come across any of this situations and how did you handle them. Hello everyone,let's say I have the following PTC Project Structure:A|->SubfolderOfA|-->SubSubfolderOfA|-->AnotherSubSubfolderOfAB|->SubfolderOfBNow "SubfolderOfA" has various Checkpoints, say v1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc...Now this is what I'd like to do, all of that <from the command line using si>:> I'd like to checkout somewhere on my Filesystem (outside of any Sandbox) only "SubfolderOfA" (and all of it's child-Folders) and then switch between its various Checkpoints.From what I could read in this forum, a build-sandbox could be a good starting point, like:si createsandbox -P$MKS.pj --projectRevision=1.1But, supposed the first step is right, how can i switch between the various Checkpoints of "SubfolderOfA"?Thank you for your help!Martino

Hello Support,For a particular project ACL permission, if "everyone" group is added with DENY permission and another group ABCD is added with ALLOW permission, then does the members of ABCD group will have effective permission as ALLOW or DENY?In essence, what is the priority order to effective project ACL permission.I am assuming all users of Integrity are always members of "everyone" group unconditionally.Thank you.Regards

My PTC Integrity moved server boxes, but now all my Sandboxes can't be opened because PTC keeps trying to attach to the old host. How can I fix this without dropping all my sandboxes and recreating them? Thanks!

1. I have a project Test\Test.pj and assuming it is checkpointed 10 times.2. I know that there is a facility to view the differences between 2 checkpoints.3. But, is there a facility to also view the lines of source code that is modified during these 2 checkpoints and count them?Please suggest the best possibility in this tool.

Hello together,this is the first input from my site in this forum. So I hope I propose this discussion aceptably:We are currently struggeling  to adapt our document structure in a way that all downstream traces are correctly shown (Tab "Content" --> Relationships --> Downstream Traces).The issue is that we use 3 ducuments of the same template with the same level ("Requirement Document"). These 3 created documents share downstream / upstream relationships. But the fuctionality  "Downstream Traces" neglects these 3 as they all are Requirement Documents (of the same level).Within the AdministrationGuide I wasn´t able to find a resolution and would be glad about help and suggestions.Thanks and wishesDaniel

Imagine we have a simple software product consisting of :- Sources- Executable- Documentation- Test ReportThe rules for a valid release checkpoint should be:- Executable should be newer than all sources- Test Report should be newer than Documentation and Executable- Checkpointing with the state "Release" should only be allowed if above 2 conditions are met.Would be possible to enforce a discipline like this just with means of the Configuration Manager?If yes how?If no how else?

How to run a batch file in trigger script of Integrity?java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec('cmd /c start E:\\oval\\CPProject.bat');is above command is right to execute batch using JAVA API in Integrity server.I am able to write and read batch file using JAVA API script but above command does not execute the batch file after writing.
