Hi,I have a traceability problem.So, I have two segments: SM Custumer Input Document and SM Requirement Document; this segments are rispectively made of these two nodes: SM Customer Input and SM Requirement.These nodes have a 'Decomposed To' relationship, but when I try to trace SM Customer Input to SM Requirent the message below appears and the traceabily isn't allowed.Operation status:Application does not know how to trace between "<SM Customer Input,Imported Requirement>" and "<SM Requirement,Functional Requirement>" for items 6926 and 6922Do you have any idea how I solved my problem?

I've created a new field(Pick Type) with Integrity Administator, I've included this field into my Requirement Specification Document model but it's not editable. How can I edit this field?

All,     Does anyone have a recommendation on how to allow vendors access to our Integrity data?  We would like to grant approved vendors access to specific requirements only, hiding/preventing access to all remaining requirements, even within the same project.  My initial thought was to create a subproject for each vendor and add create the items in each of those projects, but I am concerned that this will become very complex as we add vendors and multiple vendors need access to some of the same data.Thank you,Paul Hartwig

I've got a task to sync input, requirement and specification documents between two instances of Integrity. I also need to sync all relationships between all documents and its contents. Which tool would be the best choice to organise the exchange?These instances of Integrity doesn't connect directly or through any type of network. The only way to transfer information is to store it in the file on a flash drive in the point A and then load it in the point B.I know there is RIF Utility for that purpose. But I don't know, whether it is possible to sync relationships using this utility.

We write brief SRS documents for tracability.  We also can write detailed technical documents.  The problem is that the technical document has no visibility and is lost over time.  It would be very helpful to link the entire document to the heading of the SRS section

The context is Integrity 10.5, one user was not able to do the differencing at all using Beyond compare 2 as well as 4. tried couple of time reinstalling and configuring beyond compare , also reinstalled beyond compare. this is the error we get. if any one has any clue please ink it here, you will be much appreciated.

Hi allI want to know a command on how to retrieve all labels of a particular project.I tried the following command, but it is displaying the labels for the elements present inside that project.  si viewproject --project=/src/somethingproject.pj --fields=labels > labels.txti want to get the labels from project level.can anyone please provide suggestion or do i need to use any filters ??

Basically it is easy to get the list of files Out of Sync Members using the filer in the IMS client + check box "Hide empty sandboxes"I wonder if I can reproduce this filter using SI CLI, so far I tried with si viewsanbox but this command lists all files in the selected folder or project. I would like to have only those with the filter mentioned above. Thanks.

If I do shared project and select build-label "baseline1.1"(1.2), integrity is shown like shared project name(1.2).Other people can say that you can show the label from project histroy.But our company want to show "baseline1.1" directly.

Hello,   I have been set as a local administrator for PTC Integrity. Our group currently uses Integrity for source control and issue tracking. Recently, I've learned of Test Management features available within PTC Integrity, and I would like to integrate these features to improve the efficiency of our testing process.   I have rights to modify the Admin Server, but the physical server is half a world away.   If I go to "Content" and "Insert" is grayed out. Are there features or additional content that needs to be installed? Again, I would really like to roll this out and I have no idea where to start.   Thank you for your help.

I have set a field "Functional Value" with the following computation : aggregate(Satisfies,sum(Type="System Requirement" AND IsLive()?"System Functional Allocation":0))I would set a constraint on a picklist field according to the value returned by the Functional Value field.But unfortunatly, I have the following error message : "Unable to evaluate source relationship based on field "Functional Value" because its computation involves an external information function"

Hello all,   Could someone help   „- one shared a requirement of document 1 in document 2.  -        One reviewed the requirement in the document of 2 and sets the state to released or review.  -        If one changes the requirement in the document 1, then the requirement in the document 2 changes automatically.  -        The state in the document 2 remains on released or in review.  -        Since the text changed we would like to have the state in the document 2 to jump back to in progress like in the document 1. Otherwise the developer will not be aware of the      changes in document 1 Is there a way to implement it without using email notification? Oumar

Hello PTC support,   I'm trying to learn more about Automatic Code Generation and TDK but unfortunately  the tutorial you have about TDK (TDKM2TTutorial1) seems to be old and not compatible with Integrity Modeler because for example: if you check the classe diagram of: TheGenerator::Generator::Model2Text Package then you will find that this diagram and it's classes are completely different in Modeler than what is explained in the Tutorial!! Do you have any new Tutorials for TDK or can you please help me with this issue.   Best Regards from Munich Morhaf

Hi, I'm a student from germany working on the integration of MKS into MATLAB Simulink. Via google I found out that there is a possibility to directly link Simulink Blocks to requirements in MKS, but it seems there is an addin or something similar needed (called mksmathworks.exe), to accomplish this integration. My Version of MATLAB meets all the requirements mentioned in this document ftp://ftp.mks.com/pub/support/integritysoln2009/integrations/Mathworks/readme.htmand I'm owning a full license of MKS Integrity 2009. Is there anybody who can tell me how to conduct this integration of MKS into MATLAB and where I can get this mksmathworks.exe, mentioned in the link above. Many thanks in advance Niklas

Hello all,in the test result Editor, for the Annotation field of a test step. i can change the text but i can delete it (as in the test case's Annotation field). Why i must clear the result and write it again to empty the test step's Annotation field.

I have a scheduled script, and I've modified it to have an additional functionality to run as a rule. However, when I did run my rule trigger I received an error that the script may be run only from a scheduled trigger. I looked in the script and I couldn't find any sort of tag or check which specifically labels it as a scheduled trigger. When we have many menu items, not all menu items are shown up, and we cannot select some menu items.<More specifically>If we use a laptop PC of B5 size, only 30 menu items are shown up on the screen, and the 31th item are half-shown, and we cannot see the rest of items.If we use a laptop PC of A4 size, only 33 menu items are shown up, and we cannot see the rest of items.If we encounter such a situation, we have to switch over to the another menu, this is cumbersome and time-consuming. We want to have a vertical scroll bar as depicted below.
