We have been using MKS source integrity standard edition 7.7.1.271 (old version) since 2006 on Win XP. When we are trying to check point the project with a non-admin account it gives an access deny error the name of project file (at archive location). Note that all the files are in alocal drive and belong and accessible by the user. The error goes away if the user account is set to be administrator. Any hint and idea about the sourceand how to deal with that is greatly appreciated.Thanks

When I try to use TestVerdictName(LastResult()) in the Compuatation Definition of a custom field, I get the below error.MKS131372: An unhandled database exception has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The error supplied by the database is: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected CHAR got CLOBIf I just use ToText(LastResult()) then I can at least get the number value of the last result but as soon as I replace it with TestVerdictName I get this error. I think I understand what the error is saying but I don't understand why I'm getting it. Currently I am trying to work through the embedded if statements. The field type is shorttext. Hi,I am developping a specific Jar file to enable an interface between Integrity and an other tool. To use this jar file I have created a custom button.This Jar works fine but I have to use a pop-up in which the user writes his connexion data (username, password, server and port). I would like to know if it is possible to recover the connexion data of the user who is currently using integrity.Is there a way to do it or do we must asking the user each time he clik on this button his username, pasword.. even if he is already connected to Integrity.And can we use the jar file in an other way that the custom button.My "dream" should be to right clik on a Test Session, to clik on a specific line of the shortcut menu, recover the user connexion and the id of the Test Session and then do what the jar file have to do.I hop to be clear.Thank you !Nico

Hello,I have a production issue!Trying to move a table that has been changed, it also have unaffected constraints to another table that has not changed.When I use implementer to dist-move the table with constraints it errors on the move portion not the distribution part. The error is 2 - The auxiliary storage pool (ASP) 33 for file {filename} in library IMB... is not the same as ASP 1, which is the ASP of the file owning the format.I cannot move the table to its final location ...this is BAD.I already have tables in production with constraints, this may be my first table change moving to production with a constraint.AGAIN the constraint is not changed it is getting new fields that do not have anything to do with the constraints.Help anyone?

All items are the same itemtype, and its also always the same relationship field. Items can have different specifications, so the item at the top is in most cases a "library" and in the middle there could be "packages" and at the bottom there are "modules". The following relationships are possible:library -> packagelibrary -> modulepackage -> packagepackage -> moduleSo how we can build a query which returns all libraries, which have a relationship (direct or not) to modules with a certain state? All what i found is the possibilty to filter over direct relationships to the next level in this structure, but not over 3 or 4 level. And also i didnt see a way to do this with subqueries. I adjusted logging levels of several categories as I was tracking down an issue that was causing Integrity to log errors on a regular basis. I found the problem (a rogue client) and fixed the problem. However, I am unable to stop the CACHE logger from logging. I even tried setting the logging level to -100. Is there a way to use a dash "-" in a CLI script? When I try to create a field usingim createfield --name=Test --type=shorttext --description="Test - blah blah" returns an error "MKS124818: No option name or letter was found in "-".The error goes away when I enter:im createfield --name=Test --type=shorttext --description="Test blah blah"Is there a way to embed the character or something?

Good Afternoon,I am running a PTC integrity client on a linux box,I am trying to set up an automated build/unit test systemI have the initial set of scripts running interactivly from the command line, and I can run them from cron as long as I am logged into the Integrity server from some process on the box.I really do not want the script to be dependant upon me being logged in and connected (for instance I would like this script to work after a reboot, when i may not be able to immediately re log in.I'm not sure if this is a quirk of our system, but the integrity Client does not use the authentication from the operating system (although it appears to use the enterprise authentication), so after starting the gui client one needs to provide username and password credentials. This is problematic from a command line job that runs periodically.My question is, does anyone have any ideas for a secure manner to run the integrity command line client unattended (from a cron job) ?Thanks, & h
