Hi,I'm trying to export a Test Suite and its Test Cases into a DOCX file with the gateway export wizard.I succeed in displaying each test cases of my test suite like this :id - Text - CategoryMy problem is that I would like to display also the field Expected Results but I don't know why I can't do it. I am using <%{Expected Results}%> to get it as I do for id or text (like that <%{Text}%> ) but it doesn't work.Does someone have an explanation for this?Thank youN. Lateral

Hi.This has turned out to be a more complex transaction than it should be. This is done in Integrity with "Create Related Item", so we know that what we're trying to do is possibleon some level.What we need to do...From a pre-trigger that is invoked on a state-change of an item, we are automatically creating a bunch of "child items". In other words, creating several items that have a relationsip with the item whose state has just been changed. The creation is working perfectly, with one exception. And that exception is the creation of the relationship back to the parent. If we leave that out, items get created. If we keep it in, we get an error message that is:"MKS5380160: The item you are attempted to edit is currently locked by another edit. Please try again later."Since relationships are added to an item being edited by the "Create Related Item" functionality, how do we accomplish the same functionality with this automated creation process that we've created.The code that works:func

I'm wondering if there is a workaround for this error message:Error editing field Tracker: MKS124205: The relationship field cannot be converted to single-valued since there exists, or has existed, multi-valued relationships on the field.I had optimistically replied yes to this inquiry: Convert the field "xxxxxx" from multi-valued to single-valued?Note that existing items and item history will continue to reflect existing multiple values for this field.I also ensured that all current values were made single, but the error message seems to indicate that I am still burdened with the history of multiples. I am hoping there might be a workaround other than creating a whole new field. Guessing that somebody has maybe asked this before but I haven't found it in the community. Hopefully, Dave

The pj-file in every PTC Integrity subproject stores some information about the contained members, also the current working revision checked out for a member. Is ther an si command to access this information without server communication?When the information stored in the pj-file could be accessed without server communication, then it would be independent if the current directory is within a registered sandbox. (see Get associated sandbox from a subproject within a SUBSTituted drive)

Hi @all,for the abortScript()-function in the ScirptEnvironmentBean you can give two parameters: "msg", the message which will pop at the user client and "veto", a boolean. If veto is set to true the actual trigger-operation will be cancelled. If veto is set to false the operation doesnt stop. So far so good. But if veto is set to false the msg will also not popup at the user client. Why? And for which reason i need a boolean if it has only one function and the other setting is meaningless? kind regards, Jens

We can get everything done that we need to if we can #1) include our own JavaScript functions in the HTML pages that are sent to the client, and #2) invoke that JavaScript from the elements that we can create in Rich Content fields. HiWe want to run a query after running the query in the resultset I to show some items in different colors.Can I do this ?For example :I want to Run all "Requirements Query" and to see all the records at the same time I want the Completed Requirements Should Show in Red (or any other color) or Background color should be red or Text color should be red like this I want to differ the item.

I am having difficulty promoting an SQL CTE through Implementor. The error I get indicates that the temporary table name immediately following the WITH predicate cannot be found on the target environment. But of course in an SQL CTE this table is not intended to be a permanent object and won't be found anywhere but in the statement itself. I can compile and use this view in my local library but I have not been able to promote this view in Implementor.Does someone have some experience in this area that might have a solution for me?The version of Implementor is 10.3.The following is the the error I get from the joblog. I have run into an issue, I want to add 3 new columns to my sql table and when I compile it in my local library the table and views all create correctly, however when I promote my table and views to QA I get an error from implementers ALTER table statement....ADD COLUMN MY_FIRST_NEW_FIELD FOR COLUMN MFNFLD CHAR (1) CCSID 500 WITH DEFAULT 'N' NOT NULL BEFORE MSNFLDADD COLUMN MY_SECOND_NEW_FIELD FOR COLUMN MSNFLD CHAR (1) CCSID 500 WITH DEFAULT 'N' NOT NULL BEFORE MTNFLD...I am adding the columns to the middle of the create table script and it seems like the implementer ALTER TABLE is unable to handle 3 new fields in the middle of the table.MSG ID SEV RECORD TEXT SQL0205 30 1 Position 1 Column MSNFLD not in table MYTABLE in IMB275S. The error suggests that implementer is trying to add the first new field before the second new field...before the second new field is created.HELP? Anyone run into this?

Hi,Can someone provide a script example that reads properties from the 'MKS Solution' item type? We have the need to add some of our own global properties that would alter some of the conditional-logic in our scripts. The 'MKS Solution' is a singleton and already has many properties that apply to the entire solution. So it seems like using our own custom properties in the the 'MKS Solution' would best fit the design/architecture that exists.In addition, could these properties be updated from script? For an application like this, we would make use of some 'lazy initialization" logic in our scripts to handle the situations where these properties might be missing (like during an upgrade to a new version of Integrity).-Sean

Hi,I have an issue regarding the xmlapi option.My problem is that using the option --xmlapi with the CLI or using com.mks.connect.AbstractCmdRunner.executeWithXML(String[] cmd) with the java API gives different output for the node Response//WorkItems//WorkItem//Field//ValueWhile the CLI has an additional node TokenValue containing the value of the "Value", the java API gives the value as part of the Value node.Example:<Field name="projectType"> <Value dataType="string"> <TokenValue>Variant</TokenValue> </Value> </Field> vs.<Field name="projectType"> <Value dataType="string">Variant</Value> </Field>I wonder if one of you has an explanation - or even better a solution to align both outputs to whatever version.This example is part of result from si sandboxinfo --xmlapiVeikko

Is there an integrity command or script that would check if any files/members are not merged to a target branch ? So i would give it 2 parameters - a source branch and a target branch.the script would produce a list of files from the source branch with the their versions that were not merged to the target branch.

Hi,I would like to know if there is a way to obtain all the test steps of a test suite in XML format ? Indeed, at the moment I could only have the "level 1" of test cases of a test suite by using : im viewissue --xmlapi itemTestSuiteID and then if I do the same on a test case I got the list of test steps. But is there a way to do it directly ? If not, is there somewhere a doc to explain how to create an xml template understable by integrity such as the DOCX File Export Support here http://www.mks.com/support/productinfo/docs/GatewayUserGuide.pdf page 75 ?And if you have any better idea I am ready to hear it Thank you,Nicolas

Hello,We need to find the author of drop member operations using CLI.We tried to use "si mods" but the result shows the members and I get the CPs but I cannot match the dropped member with the CP used for the drop operation on that member.>si mods --fields=change,name --showMemberChanges --showAttrChanges --showChangePackages --project=/xxx/yyy/project.pj --yesWe also tried:>si viewsandbox --includeDropped --sandbox=d:\test_xxx\project.pjBut the result does not show me the author.Any hints on this?Thank youCristina

Hello, Has anyone discovered a way to redirect the ouput from the CLI to a log file? I would like to redirect the ID and/or any errors from the command window to a text file that can be viewed at a later time.
