I am trying to figure out how to open a Creo file that is in Windchill straight into ISODraw. I have Work Group Manager installed and communicating with both Windchill and ISODraw, but when I select open in ISODraw and the Windchill button in the WGM no Creo files are displayed. If I navigate in the WGM to a folder on my computer Creo files are displayed and can be opened (imported).I've searched the help and knowledge base, but found nothing.Thanks in advanceDavid.

I have XML Metadata file which already complied and working fine. I want to insert additional new ELement tag for ex: Sub Title tag with styles on existing xml document.Is there any way to insert new element tag inside XML metadata document without modifying DTD/Stylesheet?

My document Edit view has many headings that are in German when I am working in English. I have added new categories and values in a new ditaval file using the Arbortext ditaval editor in v7. After having completed this task, I fully expected to see the new categories and values appear as options in the Apply Profiles dialog box. They did not appear and therefore I was not able to apply those values. Consequently I looked into this matter further and noticed that the .pcf file may need to be modified and so on. I work at a place I do not have access to the ditabase and .pcf files. The tools person is rather inexperienced and told me that the implementation of the new categories and calues in a ditaval file require specialization and changes in the DTD and thus requires a lot of work.Although I am somewhat technical, I am not as familiar with the implementation of profiles in the Arbortext Editor, I was surprised to hear that DTD changes are required. Can someone please let me know at a very high level what is required to make the newly-added profiles in a ditaval appear as

I have two editors (out of a group of 12) that , when they hit the enter key, the element pop-up list flashes and then disappears. We are all running Arbortext 7 M040.

Since Arbortext Editor 7.0 upgraded to JAVA 1.8 which does not support odbc:jdbc bridges datamerge has been deprecated. I am wondering what kind of solutions anyone has found in terms of a workaround to use datamerge queries and databases that were set up and working with previous versions of arbortext editor? I attempted switching editor back to a JAVA 1.7 that still supports odbc:jdbc and seemed sucessful in getting Editor to load with 1.7 but have still not been able to get a datamerge to function, not even on the demo.

We have an issue with the Figures list not showing the thumbnail images for one particular user. None of our other users have this problem. Could there be a setting somewhere that is flipped, or a bug? If he opens a .c3di created by someone else, he will get a temporary glimpse of the images, but then they disappear as soon as he starts working. You can imagine the frustration of determining the image you need when you have to click through them all the time. Version 3.1 M010 build 27.Thanks guys for any input.

In Arbortext Editor Release 6.0 r60m070In a table with a single column, selecting multiple rows and trying to delete the multiple rows results in only a single row being deleted.The problem can be verified as follows: 1. Create a New Topic. 2. Add a table with 5 rows and 1 column. 3. Select the bottom 3 rows. 4. Right click and from the Delete option select Row. This does not delete the selected rows.How can I fix this??Thanks,Carolina Elias

We are currently using Arbortext for 36 localized languages and adding another 16 in the next coming months bringing the total to 52 languages. Out of the 52 languages there are 17 that are not supported. What are PTCs plans to add support to any of these languages? I can't seem to figure out if one can or how to set a dobj's modified state. Namely,  I want to set it to unmodified.

Getting "[A30156] Cannot register Java native calls for the AOM Node interface" error and there is no aom.jar in custom folder. I tired "eval option('javaclasspath')" in console but not success. Is there any way to debug it?Environment: Arbortext 6.1 and Java 1.6Thanks in advance,Bala

I am a DoD Arbortext v6.0 user. All AT files are uploaded to local server (G: drive). We recently upgraded to Windows 10. I had never had an issue with AT until then. Now, I have the following errors:When trying to open the SGML file:    When I select "Compile DTD":I have co-workers trying to help...no avail. I have full read/write access to everywhere the files may be stored, including desktop.All attempts to open any SGML files end up with same results, not just this one.Others with AT have no problem opening these files, even from the same directory.Active directory is my desktop.I would list the troubleshooting steps I have performed already, but there have been literally dozens, and I can't remember them all. I am not a computer wiz (pretty obvious by this point, I'm sure) but IT can't help, either.Some attempts have resulted in errors regarding the declaration file (???). I want to create a macro that starts where the cursor is, finds a spot in an xml doc, opens the Modify Attributes dialog box, and "tabs" to a certain attribute. I can get to the spot, but the dialog box doesn't open. Not sure how to make that happen. Here's what I have: <script type="application/x-acl"><![CDATA[    LeftArrowKey;  LineDownExtend;  LineDown;  RightArrowKey;  #ModifyAttributes;]]></script>Possibly useful context: I'm working with data divided into <section>, and section has a point attribute. I want to populate the point attribute. close the Modify Attributes dialog, then have the macro find the next section element, open the Modify Attributes dialog, and go to the point attribute box, then end the macro, populate the attribute, close the dialog and run the macro again, rinse, repeat.Any ideas?
