Hi, I'm wanting to process a bookmap and all its children (well, descendants really, but I'm stuck on even the children) just running a simple XSL transformation against the bookmap and each DITA file href'ed in the bookmap. I can't figure out how to prevent the DITA getting resolved into a resolved document. Am I missing something really obvious or is this actually "hard" to do? I can obviously use a command line tool (or, GASP, another XML editor), but I'd like to keep the author experience in a familiar tool if at all possible. Seems like it should be easy so I'm hoping I'm missing some obvious switch ... I am: Arbortext Editor and Publishing Engine 7.0 m040. Publish>Using XSL>mystylesheet.xsl. Thanks. P.S. Sorry for the sort of duplicate post ... I put my original in the wrong bucket... maybe I'll be able to go delete it after I submit this one...

Hello all! I am working on customising our Arbortext context menu. I want to indicate on the menu which tabstyle is set to the table. For that I am trying to add a listener for the Event Types MenuPost But I can only find examples of adding event listeners on the document, not on the window (Which is the domain of the menuEvents to the best of my understanding) Here is the JavaScript code I use: function menuPost(event) { var node = event.target; var context = ""; while (node != null) { if (node.nodeType == node.ELEMENT_NODE) { context = "(" + node.nodeName + context; } node = node.parentNode; } Application.print(context + "\n"); event.stopPropagation(); } function clickEvent(event) { var node = event.target; var context = ""; while (node != null) { if (node.nodeType == node.ELEMENT_NODE) { context = "(" + node.nodeName + context; } node = node.parentNode; } Application.print(context + "\n"); event.stopPropagation(); } var doc = Applicat

Program: Arbortext IsoDraw 7.3 CGM information: WebCGM 2.0 - Auto-trol Technology - S5KCGM Converter - Release 5.1 Build (ColourClass: colour) Issue: When opening CGM files (converted from 'Tech Illustrator') into the 'IsoDraw' program, many of the ellipses come through as splines, and all the dashed lines are split and converted into separate polygons (***Screenshot attached***). Anyone know how this issue can be solved so that all ellipses and all dashed linestyles are preserved when opening CGM files in 'IsoDraw’)??? Thanks in advance! God Bless:)

Does anyone know where I may be able to get the latest date code of Editor and PE of 5.4? I believe it's at least at M170. I am forced to use 5.4 and PTC no longer distributes the software for legal reasons. Thank you, Bob
Hello PTC Community - There has been a lot of talk in our organization transitioning to Windows 10 and I was wondering if Arbortext 6.0 was built for this. We're currently using Arbortext 6.0 on Windows 7. Anyone with experience making this move, please provide any feedback you may have! Thanks, Ryan T
Has anyone ever seen these 2 error messages:[A31640]unexpected exception within autosave[A31641]unexpected exception within timerWe are running Arbortext 6.0 and we are experiencing this with one of our larger files that we are trying to process. We use Datalogics DL composer, and it has length limits to amount of pageswe can produce, typically maxs out at 2,700 pages. We have been testingPTC's Print Compose and it is faster and go farther. The issue is weprogrammically produce this 16,000+ page manual that is 210 megs large (6million lines). Arbortext Editor cannot open the file, so we cannot printit or find how many pages is the limit Print Compose before we have to cutapart this manual. Is there a command line or input folder we can toss this large file to haveit run.
When adding a language to styler, on the language tab under generated text, you need to select the target language. Lets say I want toe add es-CL (Spanish (Chile). How do I set the Document Language mapping. Is document language set to es (Spanish) and the Language to Use is set to the region CL? Or should it be the other way around. Thanks Bryon
I created an appendix at the end of my bookmap. Unlike all the other topics in my book, the appendix topic title does not show up in the TOC. How do I fix this?
Hello,Using Arbortext version 6.0;When trying to add/delete elelment tags, content, etc, session frequently crashes with this error. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Hello, I want to use _ufe element with universal definition of the colour. The actual colour will be set in the xml document, e.g. in the <productname> element and his "role" attribute. I changed the APP source for _ufe by this way: ...//var color_value = '#0c6979';var color_value = formating.evaluateXPath("//productname/@role"); // Print/PDF propertiesstyle.color = ( color_value )... but it doesnť work. Maybe the formating.evaluateXPath function doesn't return a string value? The attempt with the direct setting of the color (a commented row) works OK. Thanks for help Jana

Arbortext Editor 6.0 and 6.1 uses lower version of JRE, to support custom plugin we need to upgrade Arbortext JRE to JRE 1.8. Does PTC supports using Arbortext Editor 6.0 and 6.1 with JRE 1.8?
