Does anyone has a model of a forklift he wants to share?

Hi Everyone Is it possible to import jpeg and other files into the program. I have searched the help pages and cannot find a reference to the subject. I want to import files containing plans of ships so I can resize them to a scale I can work with. I await your replies with anticipation. Kellyman

We've been using Pro for 13 years and have the usual infrastructure set up (large library of off-the-shelf parts, start parts, formats, etc)Attached is a doc file with all the responses. I made a model of a volume of fuel. I then made an inheritance model of the fuel volume andshelled it outwards by .15 to represent a fuel bladder. When I modify the fuel volume, the bladdernow updates accordingly.I would now like to make a model of a fuel tank which would be a .13 wall thickness about thebladder and which would also be an inheritance of the same fuel volume so all would updatewhen the fuel volume is modified - How can I do this.

Hi all,We're a mid-size company who has a small group that is trying to bring SolidWorks into the company. I'm clear on the opinions surrounding the capabilities between the two software's and don't want to revisit that. One of the main arguments that is being brought to the table is that the "industry" is currently leaning heavily towards SolidWorks. I know last year's PtcUser event broke the 5000 attendee barrier, and the equivalent SolidWorks conference was close to the same. I also realize that Ptc once stood alone and that SolidWorks has crept up and is now a strong competitor, especially for those companies who are choosing a 3d CAD tool for the first time. As people associated with the industries that use these softwares, do you think that the "industry" is currently leaning heavily towards SolidWorks is an accurate statement?Thanks,Stefan

Has anybody out there seen this problem before where a Pro/E Skeleton model has become packaged somehow?Repairing it also brings up a menu I have never seen before "Fix Location"The packaging issue also drives down into the sub-assy's which don't have skeletons but are assembled to the top level skeleton. Greetings all!Checking the community to see if anyone has implemented HP's RGS in production with Windchill and ProE? What are the lessons learned? Any pitfalls? What about cost effectiveness? Whoever was responsible for that change, most likely was given somerequirement to make the UI, bluntly obvious. Never mind how many extra stepsit involved.I do agree that nested drop downs are disease that shouldn't be inflected onany UI.The problem is, they are one of the easiest UI elements that a programmercan create.Glenn

When doing and extrusion, I need a depth value of 1.45, I type this in and hit enter, the value defaults to 1.5. Is there a setting to adjust this?

Does anyone know what the command Pro/E is expecting from the middle mouse button so I can program a custom mouse? It's probably obscure but I'm throwing it out in case anyone knows. Thanks.

So I was looking at some ideas for packaging some batteries, when I cameacross this one. I was wondering if anyone had a supplier for this typeof extrusion.
