Pro-Gurus,I have done this a million times in the past - how do I insert a symbolinto a note? I am creating some standard notes and I have a flag symbolI would like to include inside the body of the note. Attached is a picof what I am trying to accomplish (I have simply placed the trianglesymbol over the number 1) Thanks in advance! Nick

Thanks to everyone for the responses. After checking numerous thingsand watching the cpu usage in the task manager I discovered it hassomething to do with the driver for my SpaceNavigator (spaceball). If Idisable the spaceball then Pro/E works fine but with it on everythingcomes to a halt. Again I made no changes or updates to the spaceballand maybe it is only a symptom and not the real cause. I will removeand re-install the driver to see if that fixes it.I am going again for now. Thanks again for all the help!!

Hi friends, Some system allowing chamfer 0.6 mm (minimum) and other system allowing 1 mm (minimum) why? Any one can know which variable we need to change? Friend senthilnathan.G

WF3, M170We just implemented WF3 M170 and one of my users is having some issues in sketcher.  His dims end up off screen a lot more than they used to and he's seeing a smooth 3 point spline turn into a staircase of vertical and horizontal lines.  Anyone else seen this?I've seen the off-screen dims before (who hasn't?), but the staircase spline is new.   His spline looks like a graph of stock market performance this fall.He's got an FX3500 graphic card running the forceware driver number 162.65.  He's also using a Wacom Cintique 21" touch screen monitor.Thanks,Doug Schaefer

I am getting a zero thickness face showing when I select that face for a zonal or offset cross section. Anyone know why?

I have an analysis which will require a wire to be wrapped around a rod. I'm interested in see the stress concentration through the thickness of the wire after it has been wrapped nearly 360 degrees around the pin. Is this possible with large scale deformation? I have tried various constrain and load setups and have not been successful in getting it to wrap around the rod more than 10 or 15 degrees. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone ever placed user dimensions in an isometric view? I can "show" model dims, but I need to place my own dimensions, and they do not follow the isometric model.

Not a lot of response to this one unfortunately. The only comment was toensure that the sketch was fully constrained - ensured. We ended upsimply mirroring the original sketch so the text came out how we wantedin the model. Hey, it's a workaround to get what we needed. Gurus of the solid bend; or in PTC speak, bend solid, One of my work colleagues is having a problem and I don't know what theanswer is. He has some text on a flattened quilt which he will betransferring to the solid body as a cut out. To this end he has a sketchof the text extruded both sides of the quilt. However, when he performsthe solid bend, for some reason the text is flipping so the letters aremirrored - fine for Leonardo but not what our customer wants. Has anyone had any success downloading Wildfire5? I've looked on the software update area on the PTC website and WF5 is not there. We are fully payed up on our maintenance, so I can't understand why I can't see it.Any ideas anyone?CheersJeff
