Would be nice if they would improve corner chamfers so they would remove material added by rounds.The 2 images below are both trying to create the same geometry. The only difference is the order of the chamfer.First image has the chamfer before the round and the second has the chamfer applied after the round which does not work (should be 6mm per edge)Corner chamfer stops at the edge of the round, will not remove round material.Would also be nice to be able to select multiple corners to apply the same size corner chamfer to.

Hi Everyone,First off I am not a CAD user but I do need to create a cheat sheet to send to the CAD users (Creo 2.0 and SolidWorks 2014) for them to maintain their client systems.These users are at remote sites so I need something they can easily follow (less technical jargon than normal PTC guides).Most users are on Windchill PDMLink 10.1 (M030 ~ M050).What actions should the CAD users be doing on a weekly bases to help them with performance?

Hi,I use mapkeys in Creo ... a lot. Folks,I'm trying to define a symbol with variable, MOVABLE text, without leaders. I created a note like so: \LOC\ and am able to change the value without a problem. However, the text is fixed in one place when I place the symbol. The text indicates the position of a detail in a grid like A-12, Q49, T99, etc. but it's position needs to be tweaked for maximum clarity.My current symbol is only a circle with filled hatching. I have to create a text-only separate note that has no associativity; moving one will not move the other.Any ideas? I'm using Creo 2, M100.Thanks,Ray Aviles

Is there any way of making this relation work?SMT_DFLT_BEND_RADIUS = SMT_THICKNESS * 1.5If not, does anyone know why?Why would a SMT_THICKNESS * 1.5 relation not be functional when SMT_THICKNESS,  SMT_THICKNESS * 2, and SMT_THICKNESS * .5 all work?Again, if not, PTC needs to fix this so that these relations can work.Thanks!

My Creo 3.0, when attempted to download , the server is not available. Why? Then how to download the same?

Creo 2, M160 (I also tried Creo 3, M070 with the same results)I have a sketch consisting of a single arc and I want to control the length of the arc, not the radius.  I've constrained the ends and I've tried adding a perimeter dim or adding a chord dim by selecting the arc, one end, the other and then middle button.  Creo won't let me add the dim, it thinks the dims are too small.  I get an error "Please increase the number of digits" or something about sketcher accuracy.  I can get it to add the perimeter dim, and I tell it to vary a linear dim that is 0.002", however it flattens out the arc to it's maximum length and turns my 0.002" dim to 1148.477".  The sketch is then locked up and unchangeable.There used to be a setting for sketcher accuracy, but I cannot find it.  Does that still exist?  If not, how do I get Creo to accept this perimeter dim?I cannot share the model due to client confidentiality.

I'm working with Creo 2 M130 and find that I am unable to group copy geom features in a skeleton.  I can't think of a good reason for this.  Does anybody know of one?Thanks!

Has anyone of you tried to use Onshape (Full-Cloud CAD | Onshape) ?If yes, what is your opinion about it ?Even if it is not as capable as Creo yet, the team is coming with improvements at an impressive pace (releases every months).Do you know / think that PTC has any plans to come up with a cloud based CAD software ? Having a cloud based software sounds like it would be a good way for PTC to get rid of people using cracked versions, especially in countries with very "lax" copyright laws...

Folks,I'm trying to define a symbol that includes 'boxed' variable text in a note. I define the note with the '\' prefix & suffix. But when I place the symbol and try to enter @[100-T@] to replace the @[NOTE@] in the note, I get an error as shown in the attached picture. Does anyone have any ideas to get around this, or am I doing it wrong?Best regards,Ray Aviles

Recently I had to create some scal reference for a presentation and I thought I would share them with my fellow Creoittes.These are Creo 2 models with X, Y and Z grads centered at the origin. one has one inch majors and the other has millimeters with major grads at 1 centimeter. Both have patterns that allow for as many grads as you want. Play with them a bit...it will make sense.Hope you find them useful.Merry Christmas.

Does anyone have a model of a John Deere implement that mounts to a 623R series loader.I'm working on a 6105M tractor that uses the 623R series European loader arms but can't figure out the attachment without some type of implement.All I keep getting is the skid steer version and that's not what the Europeans use. The implement would have finger like hooks on top and pin holes on the bottom.Thanks,Len
