Hi everybody, Please can anybody say how to change the DASHBOARD POSITION IN PRO/E WILDFIRE 5??I have tried the following steps TOOLS - CUSTOMIZE WINDOW - OPTIONS TAB but I can't find any tab or icon to change the DASHBOARD POSITION..If anybody know the solution for my question please reply......

In Creo 1 m30; How do you get the standard tapped hole notes to show up on in the model?I've got the "Annotation Display" icon selected on the view tab but, they don't show up. Isn't that what controls them?The notes will only appear when I pick the hole note from the model tree AND THEN spin the model slightly, after which the note will disappear.What I'm I missing?Tracy WillisDesigner - Document ControlCOOK IncorporatedP.O. Hi,   I´m using EMX70_M030 right now. When I add a component, the option "Add Drawing" is on by default. Each time I add a component I have to turn it off. Is there a option to turn it off by default?

Does anyone know what this stuff is about?讀㲧I get this character on the message window. My chinese friend here says itmakes no sense so I'm thinking pro/e is using a bad font and taking whatotherwise would make sense like:file savedand printing the charcters that such a letter combo would make with thechinese character set/font讀㲧maybe its just a guess.and it seems to be the same font over and over:讀㲧otherwise other messages are normal.

Anybody know how to add control functions (example Ctrl+a or Ctrl+f) to mapkeys? Unfortunately these keyboard combinations are not recorded in the mapkey. Any input on the required syntax is appreciated.

Hi folks, A client of mine is using Windchill for PDM. It is hosted / administered bytheir much larger "mother-ship" corporate IT department. Mother-ship usesthe app for most of what it can do, but the smaller client is only in needof a PDM system and they are getting burned by a lack of / lag in supportwhen things go wrong. And, with Windchill, sometimes things go wrong. So, they are looking for a "lower-end" PDM system that will work acrossmultiple CAD formats and also control other docs / data. They plan toadminister it themselves. Anyone have a great experience they'd like to share? Anything to stay awayfrom? Thanks! -Nate

PTC has an actual date for Creo 2 M030 on the product calendar [1], nextWednesday, November 21st. They also have dates for Creo M040 & Creo 3 now. There's no schedulednew Creo 2 build until February 2013, that's 3 months betweenmaintenance releases. Remember when we got a new version every 6 monthsand I think maintenance releases were weekly or was it every 2 weeks? Creo 3 F000 isn't due until Q4 2013. So much for the commitment whenCreo was launched of a new release every 12 months each March. We pay quite a lot each year for maintenance, about 90% of the value isin getting new releases. Tech support is too slow for our needs, werarely get an answer before our deadline to deliver to the customer. If they are going to stretch releases out that far, I'm seriouslyconsidering a recommendation to not pay our maintenance that is due inDecember. With Creo 3 not hitting for a year, it'll be at least 18months, likely more, before any of our clients implement it. There is very little reas

when I dimensioning of points by ordinate method it does not reflects the - sign for 2nd/3rd/4th quadrants. Am i missing something? Any help...

The back maintenance payment isn't all, it only goes back 1 year.  We'vebeen down that road before with positive results, but if you can't stayoff maintenance a minimum of 18 months or better 2+ years, it's notlikely worth the pain.  In this case it seems a 50/50 proposition.  I'mbetting it'll be 2 years until we need to use Creo 3, but it may beshorter, who knows.  We need to be able to run whatever version our clients are running(right now we've got clients on WF4, WF5 & Creo2 and I've had to use all3 in the same day.)  So, if we go off maintenance and get a client thatadopts Creo 3 right away, we'd have to pony up to renew. Mostly this was just a Friday rant about how the value of ourmaintenance dollar is slipping each year to the point that it feels likethrowing money out the window and how PTC isn't living up to what theysaid we'd get with Creo - annual releases.  The idea of paying 12 monthsof maintenance and not getting a single new release is

I am replicating a handle for class (one of many parts) and I am trying to round the spline to a larger radius....although the program is not letting me specify it.I have ran into this problem a few times before, but it wasn't of high importance in previous years. Also, would there be a way to have it rounded to a point where the two edges would form an arc?Thanks

Hi all, can you help me with a minor, but rather annoying issue i have with clipping a witness line. When i "create a witness line" for radial style dimensions, i cannot for the life of me put the end where i want it. You don't appear to be able to snap it to vertex or geometry by holding down the shift key & picking the witness line, like you can with linear type dimensions. The clipping of witness lines full stop, has become very tiresome in Creo 2, once again, far too many clicks of the mouse required, to get the job done. Just discovered something else, you do not appear to be able to "create a witness line" for manually created radial dimensions, most annoying. RegardsJohn

Hello all,My collegue just asked me if Mechanica could do a calculation where three components are clamped by a bolt. He had problems doing that. I told him I wouldn't know why not. But after checking the documentation (Wildfire 4), it turns out it cannot be done. Mechanica does not handle any "intervening geometry", not even if it is from the same 2 parts.Can anyone explain to me why this is? As long as there is some sort of friction between the parts, I would think that calculating the bolt connection should not be too much of a problem?And is this still the case in newer versions of Mechani/Crea (or whatever it's called)?Best regards,Patrick Asselman

Merahabalar öncelikle şunu söylemem lazım ilk katı model programıyla 2004 yılında tanıştım (isim vermeyim). aynı zaman da pro/engineer le de tanıştım ve benim kullandığım daha kolay geldi.. 2004 den bu yana pro/engineer hiç kullanmamıştım. yıl oldu 2011 ve işe girdiğim şirket ben girmeden 1 hafta önce pro/engineer yani değişen adıyla CREO almış.. işe girerken de söyledim "işe girermiyim bilmiyorum ama allah kulanacak kişiye sabır versin." ve malesef ki o kullanan benim.. 1.5 sene oldu bu program beni hayattan çizimden soğuttu.. bir insan topluluğu 2004 den bu yana hiç mi piyasayı takip etmez ?? hiç mi ?? çok merake diyorum neden programın ismini değiştirdiler ?? ben tahmin ediyorum da neyse... burdan PTC yetkililerine sesleniyorum.. iğrenç bir programınız var.. tasarımcının işini kolaylaştımrak yerine zorlaştırıyor uzatıyor.. biz en iyiyiz diyeceğinize piyasaya bi bakın takip edin..3D Tasarım Sorumlusu : Oğuz VATANGÜL
