We have migrated to Creo 2.0 and are having issues with fixtures. In the past we did not classify a lot of things as fixtures, we have mostly used "gen assy". Sincefixtures are causing us problems in Creo 2.0, we are wondering if there is a real advantage to try to get them to work. Most of our parts are near net shape castings on fixtures or made using vise setups. What are the major advantages of classifying items as fixtures?

Any idea what's default_dim_num_digits_changes used for? In WF5, it causes negative dimensions to be rounded during 'edit definition'. See short video attached. Rather dangereous, since the actual distance between the two planes is rounded, in the video from -5.5 to -6!!Regards, Hugo.

Hello all,We can import relations into our models using a text file but if there are already some previous relations in the model they get erased when importing the file. Is there any way of preserving the already existing relations when importing new ones?Thanks,A. Baridó

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move the cursor to the command search box? Using the mouse to click in the box is very inefficient.Another useful shortcut would be to move between tabs. I don't count using the ALT key as a shortcut since you're forced to memorize what letter to hit next or search the screen for the letter. ALT + right arrow or something like that would be very useful.

PTC is at it again... Blah blah the story of my life...I want my users to click on a link to go to our help page from the ribbon.PTC thankfully added a bunch of useless links including one for their storewhere you can buy stuff. There is also other links that I never use. I knowhow to turn these off. But how do I add a button to a URL? I don't know.How about a short cut to some important folder? I am having difficulty creating native Creo/Proe geometry to match import geometry. The spherical corner in the import data I have seems to be a much better corner than what I'm getting by default with the round transition set to "Corner Sphere". Does anyone have any suggestions on how to model this more accurately (other than simply copying the import geometry)? Pictures and WF5 model are attached. Thanks!

All,I am curious on what experiences have been found from moving to Creo 2 from Wildfire 4 or 5. I know there is always the 'why did they have to change that' argument, but in reality (without prejudices) what kind of learning curves have been experienced?

We use to be able to make leaders with the "all around" (circle at the knee) symbol. How is this done in Creo 2.0?

By default we are getting annotation sets/markups for Proe.asm files (see attached screenshot), is their any way to disable this ?Is this controlled in the wvs.properties file ? We dont use markups and actually having them is causing additional problems.Appreciate any ideas

Hallo zusammen,ich bin immer noch fleißig am experementieren (man könnte auch basteln sagen) .Da ich eigentlich in meiner täglichen Arbeit nicht konstruiere, sondern fertige, ist mir so manches doch schleierhaft.Meine Frage: Ist es möglich in eine Welle auf der Mantelfläche Zentrierbohrungen radial zu erstellen und diese dann um die Mittenachse 3 mal (also 120°) auszutragen? Ich hoffe ich drücke mich verständlich aus.... Die Zentrierbohrung habe ich modeliert indem ich eine Arbeitsfläche auf der Mantelfläche erstellt habe, einen Kreis gezeichnet und diesen dann nach unten gezogen habe. So entstand eine Sackbohrung. I bout and downloaded the student edition, the download completed 100% but it doesnt work. it wont open, no error messages nothing? anybody else have this happen? its been taking forever to hear back from any one at PTC..

We are doing some rehosting, testing for an OS upgrade, and are running into a problem.Robo-Copy works great on everything except the Windchill load point directory.The admin shut off all the Windchill services, but Robo-Copy isn't copying everything to the new location.
