Hi.I have read on several websites that the mathcad xml (used in the xmcd files) is a publicly available specification (done by ptc of course), but I cannot find the specification anywhere. Any help?I am making a parser for the xmcd files - of course I could reverse-engineer the format, but that will take a lot of time.

I am attempting to sketch a complex shape. I know what I want the sketch area to be so I want to use it as a constraint so I don't have to figure out one of the other dimensions. Is this possible?Thanks in advance.-Alex

Does anyone know how to make use of this command?

Is anyone using the autoshop documentation? I am curious as to how or even if you can modify the header names on the sheets. In the acutal Process builder you can set a column width but the header seems to control how wide the colum is on the sheet.I have columns where I only need a width of about 3 or 4 units but the column header seems to set the actual width. This would be a very usefull tool for me if I could fit all my info on an A size sheet landscaped. So what I am looking to do is cut the headers down to 3 or 4 letters or the same size as my column width.

I am currently working on automating certain parts of ProE Wildfire 4.0 and have come across a problem. I can automate all parts of using Windchill in an external browser. I can even automate ProE itself by running the macros that are recorded in ProE's trail files.However, the actions that are taken inside the embedded browser are not recorded. Is there a way to get those to be recorded in the trail files as well? Or some other way/tool to use? Mapkeys do not work either. There is certain functionality like activating workspaces that can only be done within the embedded browser...Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a way to round a vertex, such as the vertex of a pyramid or cube, such that the vertex is rounded but all the edges remain sharp? I'm sure I've done this before but I can't see any options for it.Thanks

We just installed Creo in the class room, some computers operate correctly, others ( including the instructiors ) will close the toolbar after each operation. That is to say, I open sketcher, draw a line, wish to continue with another line, but the sketching options close. I must click on the sketcher tool everytime I wish to draw a line section. Does anyone know what is going on? It is quite frustrating and makes the software almost impossible to work with.

To All,If anyone has recently upgraded to Creo 1.0, and was required to write a justification, could you please share some of the more compelling reasons that were deemed acceptable to the powers that be? We are just beginning to collect data to support our move. We had a demonstration from PTC (canned, of-course), and the User Group here was very impressed.I'm sure Creo 1.0 has its own issues, so we would hold for Creo 2.0. Hi. I have a custom FN symbol that has a left and right "quantity" (i.e., allow users to enter 2X, 3X, etc...). Is it possible to make the default variable text empty or blank? It's going to get annoying for the users to constantly delete that text and I'm just trying to save them the headache.Thanks.

I have a Creo Elements Pro Student Ed W5 in my laptop. I can't press or use 'Boundary Blend' button no matter what i do. The button is only gray. However, the Creo Element Pro at school, the boudary blend button works. I know that at school they also use Student Edition. I don't know why it doesn't work in my computer. Anyone? thanks

Hello! everyone How to cancel proe backup fuction?

Please explain the logic behind "Add Point" & "Delete Point" options. It does not work as I expect. After I think that I have deleted points and then go to add a new point, I find out that the last point I selected did not delete. The more I continue to add & delete the more confounded the curve becomes and I almost always have to delete the whole curve and recreate it.Give me any suggestions that will save me from having to delete the whole curve in order to put new points in.example: PNT17 needs to be added to the curve.Thanks,Kevin
