I am preparing to deploy CE Pro 5 M070.Installing and configuring the 64-bit version worked fine.However, after installing the 32-bit version, there's a problem (Windows XP).When launching, nothing is displayed at all.The trail file isa created and contains only:Error loading font file font.ndxCannot initialize message system; index file msgtxt.ndx not found.Exception - code was -1073741787.Any ideas?Gerry

I cannot get a transparency event to show up on my timeline. I have the event name, I pick the component, I set the time after start I want it to happen, I click apply...nothing.Any clues?

The Powers That Be around here have asked me to look at SpaceClaim; I'm notsure if they mean as a complement to or a replacement for Pro/E (we'recurrently on WF3). Do any of you out there have any experience with it?What are it's strengths/weaknesses vis a vis Pro/E? Would we be better offsimply going up to Creo Parametric (with the understanding that that alsomeans moving to Windchill from Ilink 3.4)? I currently was giving a shrink wrap file of pro-e 4.0 and try to open zip with a bunch of assemblys and parts missing.Any Direction Please.Thanks,Josh

Is it available for download? We are in maintenance for ProE (Creo) but the new version of creo (Creo 1.0) is not in my download list. Do I need to call PTC or how you guys download this version?CC

Hi Dear...Good Wishes....I'm using Pro-E WF-5..Some standard (model)components i'm using for various projects with out changing any dimensions....so every time i'm taking back up to that different project folders...because of this my disk space is very low now.when assembling i want take from standard parts folder... How to create a parts library in Pro-E WF-5...???

Unfortunately we are running Inventor and SolidWorks in addition to our tool of choice Pro/E WF5.0 and PDMLink 9.1. I know...I know... just don't ask. The other MCAD users are requesting to have their files published to ProductView as we have the Pro/E files for ProductView and PDMLink.The question is are any of you doing this type of other MCAD publishing? I'm trying to revolve a cut inside a rectangular-shaped container, while keeping the extent of the cut limited to the inner walls of the container so I don't cut into neighboring models. The result will be a cone-shaped piece that I can use to measure the volume of the container at different heights. Imagine the inside walls of a blender, for example.I've experimented with some of the Advanced features (Wildfire 4.0), but I cannot seem to achieve what I want.

I really like Creo Parametric 1.0, however I can't get PTC to supply me with a "What's New" document for it. PTC tech support told me no such document exists.I don't understand how a software company can update the software and not provide a list of the new stuff to its existing customers. Yes I'm aware PTC wants more money to join the university to find out what's new in video format. I feel as a maintenance paying customer I'm entitled to a written list of the enhancements at each new release.Anyone have such a document for Creo Parametric 1.0?

Hello, Does anyone know where to find a quick easy list of different material densities? I wish PTC would just put the most common materials in and if you want to tweak them, then you can modify them. I am looking specifically for aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

1) How can i search a model to, for example, find all inside corners that are < .1875. 2) Is there a way to quickly find the Length, width, and height of a model without having to measure each one. I would like to have productview adapters publish a jpg of our parts and asm. I opened a ticket with ptc and they told me to configure this with the office adapter. This does not sound correct. Any help would be great. We plan to use these images with our ecommerce site instead of taking pictures. These images do not need to go back into windchill. In fact I do not want them in windchill.Thanks,

What is the setting to get your most recent files to display under the file pull down menu?
