Hi,Calculate the total interest paid:
I'm starting to play around more with Creo Flow and am a little unclear about the available options for modeling the boundary layer1) Is there an option to select a laminar boundary layer or is everything just modeled using a turbulent BL with k-eps formulation?2) Are there other turbulent BL options other than k-eps?3) does the k-eps BL option include an intelligent wall formulation, where the cells in the BL that have a y+ lower than some cutoff value are ignored?4) What are some of the levers that I can pull to achieve y+ values in the typically desired range of 13-31?Thanks!MArk
Hi, The problem I'm currently working on primarily uses 2 decimal places. However, at some point in the sheet the decimal places change to 15 places unexpectedly. For the regions where this problem occurs, the math formatting menu is completely greyed out, although text formatting is still functional. Any help with this? Thanks
1 ) Apparently, there is no substitute for copying and pasting a block of Excel cells in Prime as we could do in MathCAD 15.2 ) This has forced me to use READEXCEL but unless I shorten all of the file names and work sheet names (in the READEXCEL function), the line runs off the right side of the printable area. I tried inserting a line break (Ctrl+Shift) but that didn't do anything inside the READEXCEL function. Is there a way to break up the READEXCEL function at the comma? I don't want to rename files as that will make documentation less meaningful. I shortened the path to ".\" but the line is still too long.
Hi,
Hi all,I have been loving the new improvements to hole modeling in Creo 10, but I am still very disappointed with the lack of polish on actually dimensioning holes. The hole notes functionality is pretty powerful, but the fact that you can't specify tolerances on those hole values makes it useless for most users in most cases (aside from just specifying tapped holes). In addition, the fact that feature control frames (GTOL) can only be placed on the notes in the elbow style is unacceptable and unprofessional. I know there is a workaround to create a free floating GTOL and then link to it in the note, but that is very clumsy. It's something I would expect from FreeCAD, not a world class CAD system. I would like to see each of the dimensional hole parameters linked to their actual annotation so the tolerance and dimension display can be adjusted, or better yet, build in the tolerance options into the hole tool. I would also like to see the ability to attach GTOL frame
Hello,Is there anywhere I can find a list of video cards that CREO supports? What would be the best configuration for CREO 9 to work?
Hi all, As shown in the attached image, when tf=0.055 is equal to tf.min=0.055, the results should be "OK" since tf must be bigger or equal to tf.min as stated in the if statement does anyone know why the calculation does not capture the equal sign and produce an "OK" output when the value of tf and tf.min are equal??Thank you in advance.
Hi,How to do this kind of sum?
Hi,How to calculate this sums:
My question is very simple. Is it possible to create a mapkey with functionality shown in uploaded Appearances.mp4 video?
Hi,Why without adding that else NaN at the final the plot is showing the waveform, but after that else NaN was added at the final of the function then the plot failed?
Hi,I do not understand this error in which root function found a number greater than 10^307, as we can see from the plot that on the interval [0.1,10] the magnitude did not go above -1, nor above 1... On the other hand if we specify also the interval [0.1, 10] inside the root function then the root gives no more this error, and can calculate. I do not understand why in the first way root function give that error, as I expected root function to be evaluated between [0.1, 10] interval also in the first way, given only the guess values inside the root function, and not specify explicitly the interval.
Service Contract-9R2231951Dear Mathcad Support Team,I hope this message finds you well.I am writing to seek your assistance with an issue we are facing in our company, Tetra Tech, as we try to implement artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT to create design templates in Mathcad. We are encountering the following challenges:1. When we copy code in Mathcad format generated by AI tools and paste it into Mathcad, it appears as text rather than functioning code.2. Additionally, we are facing a similar issue when trying to copy and paste code from one template to another. The copied content is pasted as text, and we are unable to use it directly as Mathcad expressions or code.As part of our ongoing initiative to integrate AI-driven tools into our workflow for efficiency and innovation, we would greatly appreciate your guidance or any solutions to address these copy-paste formatting issues. Please let us know if there is any specific setting, format, or method to ensure that the code from
Hi All,I am investigating the possibility of using creo parametric NC Milling to program a table top CNC Milling machine to machine PCB test boards that were designed in a PCB design software like KiCAD. Is this something that is being done with Creo currently? We would use this for rapid prototyping of test circuits by buying PCBs with a top copper layer and then machine away the copper between PCB connections. What would the workflow for importing the top layer and then programing the milling? Thanks! FYI, I am currently using Creo 8.0 with Advanced Professional Licensing.
Hello dear community, I have a problem determining the roots of my function. What I want to know is the values of the Y points (black color) for each graph. Please if someone can help me with this problem. My version of Mathcad Prime V.8.0Thank you for your attention.. Dear Team,Kindly support "How to create balloon for sub assembly component. Note: I need to create my table Like this.
Hi all, can anyone teach me how to produce the results based on the if statement as shown in the attached picture? Thank you for your kind help:')
I am trying to create a part from the solidworks model mania series. The part includes an S shaped rib feature. The feature fails to generate beyond this very narrow thickness What am I missing?\ I am using creo parametric educational edition I have included a link to a YouTube video I uploaded showing the exact process I used to create this feature. https://youtu.be/xmp79topSuU I'm also including a link to the model mania part drawing for referenceModel-Mania-2001-Phase-1.jpg (2120×1510) (solidworks.com) I am new to creo so any input helps 🙂
Hi,I have this message error when I try to insert constraints in "Drag Components" to create a snapshot: "You are attempting to select geometry of a rigid body without parts". I would to mate a plane with a surface. How can I fix this problem? Best regards Michele Barile
Is it possible to use an Execute statements to drive different parameters to the same model in an assembly? I want to be able to do something like this where I can pass different values to the parts without having to duplicate the part.EXECUTE PART TEST1(5)WIDTH = WIDTHHEIGHT = HEIGHTEND EXECUTEEXECUTE PART TEST1(6)WIDTH = WIDTH + 5HEIGHT = HEIGHT + 5END EXECUTE
When I add units it shows this error . How to fix it and why it happens?I attached the files usedit works with the first column but not with the second and third: Thanks in advance

As part of my standard(ish) formatting principles, I like to use UniMath Prime (or another mathematical font, such as IBM Plex Serif or TeX Gyre Schola) to highlight variable/function names in Text Regions. To make life simpler, because I'm inherently lazy and prefer to put less effort in than I need, I created a Text Style named Variable that allows me to select a variable or function name and apply an italic maths font to that name. I want to use UniMath Prime for that font, but Mathcad's Text Style editor won't allow me to use it in any style. UniMath Prime Bad. Tec Gyre Schola Good I'm not sure if this is a bug or deliberate, but it's a bug from my point of view, and I'd be grateful if PTC could fix it. Stuart
Hello all, I am trying to save .asm file using toolkit. I recognised the function is ProIntf3DFileWrite but what should I pass into to save .asm file. Is it PRO_INTF_EXPORT_CADDS?
