Hello all,I have used generative design in order to make lighter my design. But when I generated results, the reconstructed shapes had an issue, the Align command for two different curves was not created. Hello,i am currently making a calculation with Mathcad Prime 9.0, where i got 3 different load cases and i want them all in 1  sheet. i made a few formulas at the beginning, and will later calculate my loadcases with them. For that i wanted some variables to be empty, so that they will just shown as their variable name, so i can later change this variable in every load case to a different number. When i just use a non defined variable, the whole formula cant used furtherWhen i give the variable a value and change it later, it will not recalculate the formula with the updated variable. Is there a Solution for this? Or is this just how Mathcad works?

I'm a mathCAD prime 10 user. I'd like to make my own function which refers a lot of parameters. Among them, here "kinematic viscosity of temperature" is below. The problem here is that TB0 already has a unit, .However, during the process of obtaining detailed variables with "units", it's hard to ignore "existing units" and put "new units". Since parameter A and B both have complex units, I don't want to put complex units to both A and B. I wonder how I could get TB0, with their own units from my program. I already searched on the board and learned that deleting all the units used here and put new units to last values but there're more parameters aside from the attatched files so I don't want it. Please help me out of here!  Plus, I wonder how to set an input variable in a function, lub_app. Please refer to method1 and 2 below.

Hello! I'm Y.J. Kim. mathCAD prime 10 user.  I'm trying to solve a 3D thermal conduction equation in cylinderical coordinate. Does the mathCAD provide 3D PDE solver? Plus, can I get a provided manual how to use it easily? Can I also notice what specific solver  is used in PDE solver? Lastly, I'm wondering how you guys solve 3D PDE by mathCAD. Does anybody solve the equation by FEM with their own script for it? I wonder if it provides so that I could start my work either from mathCAD or python. I always appreciate you.

Need to take the reference of the feature PIPE_SET_START and PIPE_TO_POINT in the tube.asm in VB API  to automate the CREO.      In the above picture I was take the reference of the PIPE_SET_START feature using edit reference icon. I was filter this feature using the type. now need to take that reference of the feature by VB API or any macro.

I would like to calculate the welding bracket correctly. But I have not yet found the right approach.Or should I simplify the model first?  Load: 4kN********************************************************************************* 

hey, i get this weird message in my Creo. i have no idea what caused it and i have no idea how to search for the feature which causes the 'break' also my model tree is half grayed out and i have no idea why. does anyone know the cause?  i have little experience with Creo and my company has very little technical support so forgive me if theres no enough information.

Hello Again.  CREO Frustration week 10 - Just checking - is it really not possible to design "smart assemblies" were you can suppress parts/groups using parameters, unless I have access to PRO/program ?  I just happen to not access to this feature. Is it really not possible to do this using relations / parameters? Thanks in advance. 

Hello.  I am using Creo parametric 7.0.12 and Windchill, I am trying to make a copy of a drawing + part - keeping their association so I can re-name them as a new part number and make changes. However, the part I am trying to copy is an earlier version of the component in Windchill. so this is a level of complexity.  Our structure isabc.prtabcs.prt (this is the sheetmetal instance)abc.drw I want to rename them all to be dfg.prtdfgs.prt dfg.drw I have added to my workspace all the versions I would like to copy - both of the part and the drawing. But when I try to save as, I get an error!. Hello Team, I'm trying to use a Merge/inheritance feature for creating another assembly file for kinematic/dynamic simulation assembly, so when the base model is changed by another engineer, it's easy for me to update either by manual or automatic option in Merge/Inheritance. Now I create every model name_Kinematic for all the parts, it takes a lot of time for me. Hey,   I am trying to assemble a cylinder of wood that contains springs, the cover is flexible for movement as people will jump on it. Is it possible to assemble it the way I think on Creo ? Using Creo 9.0....I have some legacy parts that were named with the description parameter and all my new parts have been named with ptc_common_name parameter. Is there a way for my drawing parts list to pull either name if i have an assembly with both new and legacy parts? I was thinking of adding a repeat region relation that is along the lines of the code below. Also, i don't want to modify the original part files. When modifying a .hol file, I'd like to specify the drill depth to more precision than 0.1. I have tried the following:  &DRILL_DEPTH[.01] however it still rounds to the nearest 0.1. I am using Creo Parametric 8.0.8

Hello. I stumbled randomly on the following:It seems that Mathcad defines atan and tan^-1 differently. Look at the attached picture. I thought that atan is the same as the inverse tan but it seems that it is not the case. Please, clarify this for me. Shouldn't atan and inverse tangens be the same definition? 

Is there a way for Creo to automatically generate a drawing tree? I'm not talking about the assembly drawing tree in Creo interface. In ASME Y.14.24 Types and Applications of Engineering Drawings, section 16, there's a Drawing Tree section. I'm talking about this. I attached the screenshot of it here. I have to make this drawing tree, and we have a lot of parts. It just doesn't make much sense to do it manually if Creo already has a feature for this. Thank you so much!

so I'm familiar with the help docs and other items in the help/support site on setting up a pen table (table.pnt)  but is there a specific "color" callout for cable part files?  or is it all wrapped up under pen 1? I dont want to set PEN 1 to black because ive got other entities on the drawing i want to have in color. Ive tried isolating the quilt_color to a unique pen and that doesn't work.  Any thoughts?  Or should I file an enhancement?

Why are the selection sets restricted to a Figure... Why are they not like groups in Creoview that way I can use them in any figure. I know i can copy them but then i have to manage the copy all indivudually based on figure. I wanna organize things by Primary Structure. fluids electrical. ect...Why do you make it so difficult?  Do you even try to use  your own program to detect these frustrations?Or add an option to make it a universal group or figure based only for organizational purposes.

As per the original post.    Newbie here. How  can I increase the font size in the "Message Log Bar". Also, need to increase font size in dimensioning dialog in modelling.  I think I lost my config settings when i tried to fix myself. See screenshots. 

How to remove offset between drawing and annotation as seen in image 

I need to move an assembly to a new file location (new tooling project). When I save a copy and rename the assembly, none of the parts or drawings move over. I don't want to rename the parts, because the current part #'s are established.Is there a way to move over a full assembly with parts and drawings without renaming parts and moving each part and drawing individually?Currently using Creo 4.0 I don't have access to Windchill, but the company does have a Windchill licenses if needed.
